Many thanks for the invitation to judge this show, had a great day with so quality dogs to go over and an excellent steward. 

Leonberger 

Junior (3,0) 1st Brown Davenheath Gipsy Girl To Brenaljay, Quality bitch overall beautiful shape, excellent head nice skull profile, ears set high , good stop, neck with slight arch, good laid of shoulders, balance rear moved exceptionally well. Nice bone. 

2nd Niall & Rothery DavenHeath Gin And Frolic litter sister to 1st, lots of same comments apply, slightly more rangy, head appealing but still needs to break, good bone & substance, moving well. 

Post Grad (2,0) 1st Brown Davenheath Guilty Pleasure To Brenaljay 2nd Niall & Rothery Davenheath Gladiator, Two littler brothers to Juniors, 1st loved this dogs head, lovely expression, Medium stop. Nose black. Cheeks are moderately developed & muzzle moderately tapered. Flowing neck in to excellent shoulders, Oval chest, with broad loin, good rear, moved really well. BOB 2nd really appealing in overall shape, bother today was more together, he is deep in brisket, balance angles. Interesting to watch as he matures on. RBOB 

Open (2,0) 1st Perkins Waterscape McKenzie, another good headed dog, had bone, balanced & oval chested, moved ok when settled 2nd Simpson Simberger Creme De La Creme. Balanced Bitch, head ok, medium size eye, moved ok.

Junior (6,2) 1st Cassidy Manchela Speechless At Cassoz - this young dog really appealed in type, good head & eye, lengthy neck in to well placed shoulders, well bodied up, balance rear, moved with real style & drive, holding topline, one to watch for the future. 2nd Warrington Zakova Mademoiselle - another with super breed type. Lovely head, low set on ears , balanced all through but not the angles of one, moved ok, excellent up & back. 

Post Grad (6,2) 1st Clifford Wyncastle’s French Quarter Smash With Chamford HJCH ( IMP HUN) beautiful head dog, overall excellent shape, good length of neck, excellent shoulders, well ribbed up, deep in brisket, nice rear angles, turned out beautifully. Moved well

2nd Lundin Omennes Star Lord - lovely male, good balance angles, good topline stacked & on the move, nice width to thigh. 

Open (6,1) 1st Cassidy Manchela Hugo Boss JW ShCM ShCEx A super typey dog, he came in the ring with a ‘merry’ attitude & owned it, he flowed from his nose to top of his tail, everythink fiting perfect. Lovely head & eye, low ears, excellent expression, super neck, excellent shoulder placement, showing forechest, deep in brisket, well ribbed up, strong loin, balanced rear with well developed muscles, short in hock, tail set on correctly, his tail didn’t stop wagging, he excels on the move, super reach & drive, and foot perfect on the up & down, there was nothing to touch him in the group & showed his heart out to take BOB & G1 2nd Lundin Line Sam Appealing Partner (IMP SWE) Really like this dog, moved with such style, with a super happy cocker look about him, he is an eye catching dog, nice head, balanced angles well ribbed up, good topline line, good tail set, turned out beautifully RBOB 

Irish setter 

Junior (4,0) 1st Box Fernstart Hearts Delight - lovely headed bitch, unshelled almond eyes, reachy neck, balanced angles, good topline, moved well. 2nd Hall Glennara Cherry Cola - Giving away so much in age, but super headed bitch, excellent eyes & ear set, lovely neck, in to well laid shoulders, deep in brisket, good rear angles , tailset correct, moved well for one so young BP & PG3 

Postgrad (4,1) 1st Richardson’s Bluesprings Now I’m Here At Forestfire 22mth old dog, Racy in appearance, typey dog, head appealed, ears set on well, nice front angles, nice stright legs & small feet , deep in brisket & muscular in loin, well developed rear, moved well holding top line & tail set BOB G4. 2nd Box’s Fernstart Hearts Delight. ( repeat 1st Junior)

Puppy (4,1) 1st Williams Richecca Midwinter ( English Setter) overall good shape, lean head, dark eyes with good expression, moderate dog, good long neck, deep in brisket, nice topline, moved ok once settled. 2nd Walker Foxup Bryony Frost At Dexbenella ( English SP ) Balanced angles, good topline, moved ok. 

Junior (2,0) 1st O’Reilly Tollekin Dream Loch ( NSDTR) (3rd Puppy) Nice head, lovely eyes, good shape loosing topline a little, needs to settle on move. 2nd Moon Deanway Proper Charlie (Sussex) Raw Sussex, head needs to break , moderate neck, moved ok once settled 

Open ( 7,2) 1st Upton-Lovett & Upton Gunalt Lustrous With Roydack (Weimaraner) medium size bitch, good shaped eye , set to a lovely head, intelligent expression, good neck , well laid shoulders, forechest, deep brisket, well turned stifle, well muscled, moved with drive & enthusiasm. BAVNSC GUNDOG. 2nd Watts Sh Ch OakMarsh Chestnut ( Chesapeake Bay) an attractive well proportion bitch. Good oily coat, good head, eye set apart, ears set on well, good front angles, good ribs, good balanced rear, loosing topline a little. Moved well. 

AV GUNDOG Veteran (10,4) 1st Hazeltine , Godard & Upton Sh Ch Hookwood By George JW ShCM (pointer) Super pointer, lovely head, good stop, kind expression, long neck in to long sloping shoulders, good forechest, deep in brisket, slight arch in loin , well turned stifles, short in hock. Lovely neat feet, moved effortlessly. BGV 2nd Stvincent Golden Gun From Swansreach ShCM ( G/ret) nice headed dog, beautiful eye, balance, strong topline & moved well.

G1 Cassidy Manchela Hugo Boss JW ShCM ShCEx - Cocker Spaniel - absolutely super cocker, powered himself around the ring to win the group. 

G2 Hazeltine & Welch’s Pytchley Chasing the Dream For Hookwood JW - Pointer - super type, excellent head, nice eye, ears set on well, so balanced, moved with such purpose & style. 

G3 Bryant Kilnrae Hallmark JW - Gordon Setter, beautiful headed male, great flat bone, well proportioned , correct tail set, another who moved well. 

G4 Richardson’s Bluesprings Now I’m Here At Forestfire - Super Irish , moved with style & purpose to finish a super group. 

Gundog Puppy Group 

PG1 - Metcalfe Baileydale Puff Daddy - super smart black lab, lovely head, mature puppy, moved well. 

PG2 - Pound-Longhurst Mossburn Golly Miss Molly - balanced Golden Retriever, nice head, good neck, well laid shoulders, excellent topline, moved well. 

PG3 - Halls Glennara Cherry Cola - super smart Irish Setter, giving lots away in maturity, will watch her with interest. 

PG4 Boxhall’s Laurelhach Renaissance - Gordon Setter Bitch, lovely head, excellent topline, moving well.
