ALASKAN MALAMUTE: G - 1st Vasarhelyl’s Okinastar All Of The Lights, 19 mth substantial bitch. Nice outline, with good head and ears. Balanced angulation showing excellent layback. Ok topline, good tail set. Best mover in the class. 2nd Brandeuberg & Smith’s Chayo It’s Kurt For Taronakits. 7 mth dog, a real baby in this class. Well grown with lots to like. Super head, good body and bone, well set tail, nicely angulated. Movement needs to settle but I am sure will come with maturity. 3rd Horseman-Phoenix’s Nordicwinds Miss Marvel. O – 1st Horseman-Phoenix’s Nordicwinds Grtest Showman. 11 mth dog. While this boy could benefit from stronger substance, I really liked everything else about him. Super head and expression, with lovely arch of neck, good layback of shoulder leading to straight topline with slight slope from shoulder to croup, correct tail set. In that Junior rangy stage but was balanced throughout with nothing being over exaggerated. Moved very soundly with good drive which several lacked today. BOB, BP and was pleased to see he was awarded PG2. 2nd Vasarhelyl’s Okinastar I’m The Man. 19 mth dog. Pushed hard in this class. Strong masculine head with good expression and ear set. Good length of neck showing good arch and well laid-back shoulders leading to correct straight but sloping topline. Good tail set. Balanced angulation, adequate bone, good deep chest. Just needs to settle in movement. 3rd Brown’s Cupuns Masterpiece.

ASD: G – Turnbull & Clegram’s Talard She’s Got The Look NAF Imp I. 8 mth b/m bitch. Striking bitch with lovely head and ears, good expression. Ample length of neck with good shoulder layback. A little bum high at the moment, but to be expected at this growth stage. Sufficient substance throughout. Well angulated and moved soundly with purpose. BOB/BP/PG3. BSD (GROENENDAEL): L – 1st Donaldson’s Fivannte Love Of The Loved, 11 mth bitch. Nice type with lovely head and expression and well-set ears. Liked her overall shape and substance, but rather unsettled which showed in her movement. BP. O – 1st Donaldson’s CH. IR CH. Revloch Love Me Do IKC. JW ShCM IR J CH CW 18-19 ANCH 18. 6 yr old bitch. Really nice balanced bitch with nothing overdone. Lovely head and expression, good angulation with very nice movement. BOB. 2nd Turnbull’s Xanova Black Magic @ Jenkova. Almost 7 yr old bitch with nice overall type. Good angulation, straight front & Rear and moved well. Rather portly but got this place on Movement. 3rd Bird & Caden’s Hawksflight Paparazzi at Domburg. BSD (TERVUEREN): L – Arkley’s Domburg On My Minn. 2 yr old dog. Really liked this boy. Masculine head with good expression, correct ear set. Good length of neck, nice shoulder layback, straight topline. Short loin and slightly sloping croup with good tail set. Nice depth of chest. Enough bone with straight front and rear. Moved very well. BOB & G3. BORDER COLLIE: G – 1st Alexander, Urwin & MacDonald’s Locheil Dream Come True. Very typey, 12 mth old, B&W bitch. Really liked her head, expression & correctly used ears. Good neck and level topline leading to gently sloping croup and correctly set tail which was carried well. Well angulated giving balanced movement with good reach and drive. Would maybe like a fraction off her length but could see her doing a day’s work easily. BOB. 2nd Woodgate-Ball’s Cherdene Frozen Eclipse. 4 yr old B&W bitch. Another with a good head showing nice width to skull and ears used well. Nice body, with good angulation, moved well. Lots to like just preferred the flowing movement of my winner. 3rd Kemble’s Konally King Arthur. O – 1st Woodgate-Ball’s Cherdene Rumour Has it. Almost 4 yr old B&W Bitch. Another bitch of good type. Good head and ears, balanced angulation, topline not quite as firm. Good substance with nice depth of chest. Movement could be tidier. BRIARD: G – Ferguson’s Gilcoru Xanden with Lexalby. 2 yr old black dog. Nice substantial lad with good strong head and dark eye. Good ears of sufficient length and well placed. Nice neck, good topline tail carried a little high. Well ribbed and decent depth of chest. Adequate angulation with straight front. Double dewclaws present moved a little close behind. O – 1st Curren’s Stormymoon Odin, almost 3 yr old black dog. Really liked this male. Still some maturing to do, but a lovely masculine head, with good dark eye, strong muzzle, and good bite. Good neck leading to level topline with well-set tail carried correctly. Moderate angulation, good depth of chest, with good ribbing and short enough loin. Well-muscled rear, doubled dewclaws, well let down hocks. Balanced gait, straight fore and aft. Happy to award him BOB & G1. GSD: G – 1st Cave’s Casiann Ate, 11 mth bitch. Lovely head and ears with super expression. Good length of neck with nice layback of shoulder. Would prefer back line to be straighter but was not overly exaggerated and had adequate slope. Sloping croup and well-set tail which was carried correctly. Good straight front with enough width, balanced depth of chest with gentle rise to underline. Well angulated, without being overdone. Good slope to front pastern without showing weakness, very strong rear pasterns showing no weakness and moved soundly up and back with balanced side gait too. Happy to award this bitch BOB, BP & PG4. 2nd Kemble’s Rafaye Oceancruz, 2 yr old male. This boy had a lovely head and expression, with good length of neck. Forequarters not as well angulated as rear, giving an unbalanced outline. Again, back line could be straighter, yet lacked the sloping croup. Front and rear pasterns quite weak, which showed in his movement. Temperament could be better. O – Towning’s Zandamor Dax, 3 yr old L/C male. Strong upstanding male with a lot to like. Lovely masculine head of good proportions, good ear set and used well. Good length of neck with smooth transition into topline with exaggerated slope and slightly curved backline. Good slope to croup. Well angulated shoulders, rear a little over angulated which showed in his rear movement. 2nd Cave’s Ballynabola Ria at Casiann, 3 yr old bitch. Very attractive head with super neck leading to straight backline and sloping croup. Unfortunately, almost no slope to topline. Well set tail, balanced moderate angulation. Moved well. HUNGARIAN PULI: L – Gilchrist & Szymkowiak’s Silkata Lamlam Kuku. 8 mth black bitch. Pleasing feminine appearance with square outline. Small head of good proportions, dark eye of correct shape. Medium neck, nice layback of shoulder, medium length of back with slightly sloping croup. Good tail set. Coat of good texture and developing well. Straight front & rear viewed from all angles. Lively movement which was very sound. BP, PG2. 2nd Lewins’ Pedro-Zwierz W. Dredach. Almost 3 yr old black male. Masculine appearance, head a little strong but carries ample furnishings. Neck appears shorter but blends into body nicely. Body rather long in proportion to height, tail carried well. Slightly angulated, moved ok. O – Top quality class which presented me with a difficult decision. 1st Gilchrist’s Silkata Sosumi. 5 yr old bitch. Really liked this girl’s outline, beautifully square. Small, feminine, nicely proportioned head, well furnished, sat on medium neck which transitions smoothly into good topline. Tail curled tightly over back, carried well. Straight front and rear, adequate angulation, good feet. Moved with a short stride a spring in her step. BOB & G2. 2nd Gilchrist’s Black’N Blue’s Name Of The Game at Silkata Imp DK. 8 yr old Black male. Another I really liked. Super shape with small but masculine head of correct proportions. Moderate neck, good shoulder layback, super topline and well-set tail. Short, broad loin and ribs well sprung. Moved well, just preferred the brisk movement of my winner, but a very close decision. OES: O – Laybourne & Johnson’s Mellowdee Patsy’s Spirit in Dominoesdale, 4 yr old bitch. Good square outline, substantial head of good shape with eyes well set apart. Solid body, well ribbed, decent angulation. Moved well. BOB. PMD: L – Holmes’ Lisjovia Harvey Wall Banger. Just 7 mth old male. I could happily have taken this young man home with me. Super head with correct expression, fairly short neck, good layback of shoulder. Good length of back, a little bum high which is to be expected at this age. Front quarters showing good width, something sadly lacking in many of this breed today, moved straight and true. Good depth of chest with well sprung ribs. Short enough in loin. Good bone. Balanced angulation, moved at correct speed showing off his soundness perfectly. This lad is not overdone in any way. BP. PG1. O – Holmes’ Lisjovia Sign Of The Times. 17 mths dog. Another with a super head of good width and lovely expression. At the Junior stage but showing lots of promise. Lovely shape, not too long, held topline well. Excellent substance. Moderately angulated, good width of chest which showed his in super movement. BOB. 2nd Holmes’ Lisjovia Taklahashi JW ShCM. 6 yr old male. Another lovely boy from this kennel. Many of the same comments apply, a little longer which showed in his topline. Moderately angulated and moved well just preferred the width on his son who won this class. COLLIE (ROUGH): G – 1st Donaldson’s Caronlea Celtic Traveller with Fivannte. 22 mths old Sable dog. Liked his masculine head with parallel planes and good eye shape. Ears set and carried well. Moderate neck with good arch. Well laid-back shoulders and good topline. Nice substance throughout, good spring of rib, slight rise over loin, not overly long in body. Well angulated front and rear, straight front with well arched toes, which moved soundly as did the rear which was parallel. BOB. 2nd Bridge’s Dipdown Cheeky Lady Lilly. 7 yr old Tri bitch. Nice outline on this bitch, good angulation and feet, moved well on rear. Preferred head proportions and front movement on winner. O – Savage’s Peblu Gold Reflection At Savataurus Jn Ch. 4 yr old Sable bitch. Lovely type with good head and ear carriage. Moderate neck and good shoulder angulation. Good topline. Straight sound front, but not quite as strong in rear movement. 2nd Bridge’s Dipdown Cheeky Lady Lilly. SAMOYED: L – 1st Hounslow’s Nikitta Queen Of Diamonds. 4 yr old bitch. Typical head and expression, well set and used ears, lovely length of neck and good shoulder angulation. Level topline leading to well set tail with good plume, carried well. Well sprung ribs, short enough loin, good depth of chest. Super outline carrying good substance throughout. Moved very well. BOB. 2nd Hounslow & Jackson’s Nikitta Katch Me If You Can. 9 yr old bitch. Smaller frame, nice type. Head carrying more stop, good ears, moderate neck. Good topline, nice tail set and carried well with good plume. Well angulated, but movement showing age. Still a lovely girl having a grand day out. O – 1st Hounslow’s Nikitta Run With The Wind. 12 yr old male. What a dog, one who could show a dog or two how to move even at his age! Loved his head and expression, correct ear set and carriage. Lovely neck with smooth transition into level topline. Tail set could be a little tighter but excellent plume. A shade longer in loin, making his outline a little extended. Good angulation, lovely low hocks, moved very soundly. One to treasure! SHETLAND SHEEPDOG: G – 1st Redpath’s Pathaaron Eye Of The Storm. 2 yr old Tri bitch. Really liked the outline on this young lady. Attractive head with ear good ear carriage. Excellent front angulation which showed in the smooth transition from neck to correct topline. Good slope to croup, giving well set tail. Chest reaching elbow’s and gentle rise to underline. Moved very soundly fore and aft. BOB & G4. 2nd Malone’s Pathaaron After The Storm, 2 yr Tri Dog. Litter brother to winner, and much of the same applies. Another with a very nice head, good hears, moderate neck and super outline. Just not quite as sound as the winner. 3rd Fawcett’s Northern Pride for Ronsadale. O – 1st Redpath’s Sonymer Storm Doris Into Pathaaron J.W. 4 yr old Tri Bitch. Dam of 1 & 2 in last class, and I can see where they get their looks from! Another stylish bitch with a good head and lovely ears. Good neck, well angulated shoulders, super topline but a shade longer in back. Feminine throughout. Moved well. 2nd Savage’s Willowthorn Knobalt Star By Savataurus Jn Ch J.W. 5 yr old B/M dog. Lovely type with good clear blue colour and rich tan markings, although carrying some large black patches. Good head with well carried ears, nice outline. Not quite as well angulated on forequarters but moved well. CORGI (PEMBROKE): G – 1st Reay’s Saniaquinti Fly By Magic At Jacqueilas. 2 yr old dog. Liked his overall type and correct length. Typical head with good stop and muzzle/skull proportions. Moderate neck with adequate shoulder angulation. Strong topline, slight slope to croup, good tail set. Straight front with forearm correctly moulded around chest. Good depth of chest, legs short but with ample daylight underneath. Well angulated rear with straight hocks when viewed from behind. Moved well. BOB 2nd Hoggarth’s Whitebarn Maid By Moonlight. 20 Mth bitch. A lot to like on this young bitch, with lovely head and ears, nice length of neck, good topline and nice tail set. Well angulated, good depth of chest with ample daylight underneath. Moved well. Just a little longer caste that I would like. O – 1st Reay’s Saniaquinti Fly By Magic At Jacqueilas (BOB). 2nd Hoggarth’s Whitebarn Kisses By The Moon. 20 mth old Bitch, very similar to sister in previous class. Another of good type with attractive head and ears showing lovely expression. Not quite as well angulated as winner, and a little longer caste but otherwise a very nice bitch. 3rd Alexander & Dayes Ermyn Knight Of The Realm.

AV PAST VETERAN: 1st Malone’s Carmeva Caymen ShCM ShCex (Sheltie). 8 yr old Sable dog. Headed a super Veteran class! Lovely type, good outline, attractive head with good ear set and carriage. Moderate angulation and moved well. 2nd Turnbull & Clegram’s Jenkova Brite Lika Diamond (ASD). 8 yr old Tri bitch. Liked her outline and length of neck, well angulated and moved well. Nice head but would have preferred slightly shorter muzzle. 3rd Gilchrist’s CH Silkata Theme For A Dream (H. Puli).
