SBD (1 0) 1 Brown’s Affentude Chatham Robin

Good shape to head with correct eye placement giving pleasant expression. Moved ok but was carrying quite a bit of weight which affected the overall balance and gave a stocky appearance. Not in his best jacket today.

MPD (3 0) 1 Arnold-Stronge’s Wizabeanie Moff Gideon at Meemozett. I thought both first and second in this class were really smart puppies and each just over 6 months old. The first one had all the poise of an older exhibit & was slightly bigger overall than the one standing second. However, both were lovely, with smart front action and hindquarters without excessive angulation. Sweet young faces but still clearly masculine, short straight backs and tail carriages were good. The one standing first just had the more positive movement. 2 Wildig & Wildig’s Affentude Ticket To Ride. 3 Mitchard’s Wizabeanie Kuiil

PD (2 0) 1 Stewart & Boulcott’s Datiro Hi Detroit At Ingerdorm. A well-balanced mature puppy with excellent square outline. Has desired attributes of head and expression. He moved soundly and with confidence, with a decent width behind and a good front action. Good substance to his body and correct tail carriage. Correct coat texture. BPD. 2 Clifton-Plaice’s Coutureabull Tom Ford. Slightly smaller in build to one, but nevertheless a very typical Affenpinscher with a sound and sturdy body. Another with a good shape to head and has the desired expression. Today, he just wasn’t very sure of himself on the move and was told that it was only his second show. I feel sure that given time his confidence will grow, and he will become quite the showman.

JD (2 1) 1 McEvoy & Pirrie’s Meet Joe Black. Such a stunning young man and he certainly caught my eye, every bit as handsome as the other ‘Joe Black’. Of good size and balanced throughout, so very square, excellently presented, well sprung ribs giving sturdy appearance. Only 14 months old but carried himself and moved with such a mature confidence. Certainly one with a very promising future.

YD (3 0). 1 Gill’s Florindale William Waffle. I liked this exhibit very much and he certainly did have lots to like about him. Good shape to head and ears, lovely and square in body with a good harsh texture to his coat. He had well sprung ribs with sufficient chest, a good front with lively sound movement showing his correct tail carriage. 2 Currie & England’s Vanistica Lindy Hop for Faehat. Another quality exhibit who I also liked very much with the same attributes as 1. He had a lovely temperament and looked like he was enjoying his day. It was a close decision, but I just preferred the overall movement on the first today. 3 Maskell’s Scapafield Schwarz Quarrel

PGD (4 0) 1 Mumby’s Carmichan Moon and Stars. An exhibit with such a lot of quality and has many great attributes. Overall he presents a square and balanced outline. Head is of correct proportions, lovely expression with the desirable dark sparkling eyes. He has great texture to coat, and after a little hesitancy at first, he showed himself really well and moved soundly. 2 Shepherd’s Lil'Man Special v Tani Kazari del Avantgarde NAF T. Lovely shape to head and small high set ears giving desired expression. Good textured coat. Well-sprung ribs and not too deep in chest however, preferred the squarer outline of one. Was a little unsure of himself on the move today. 3 Macdonald‘s Ashiblack Above Suspicion For Zondora

LD (3 0) 1 Clifton-Plaice’s Coutureabull Mr Muison. Not overdone in anyway , compact in size and soundly made. Good shape to head, lovely dark medium sized eye with mischievous expression. Correct straight front and hindlegs set well under his body presenting smart profile action on the move. 2 Callow’s Buffels A Little Country. Another sound exhibit but there was a lot more of him. He was an impressive mover, had a lovely head and expression but was somewhat heavier built and a different type to 1.  3 Arnold-Stronge’s Adanzis Alex Absolute Perfection At Meemozett:

OD (7 2) 1 Shennan’s Ashiblack Double O'Seven JW. Oh my goodness, what a close decision for the first two exhibits in this class. Both Affenpinschers straight out of the top drawer. Loved them both equally and in the end, it came down to splitting hairs, where the winner just pulled out all the stops on the final move. Needless to say, they were subsequently awarded the DCC/BOB and RDCC respectively. Both lively and self-confident, superb expressions with excellent proportions and attributes to heads. Both very square compact outlines shown off to perfection on the move, correct tail carriage, great substance to body and impressive coat and presentation. 2 Gadsby& McEvoy’s Ch Velvet Dandy's Cornelius Afterglow (Swed Imp). Reserve Dog CC. 3 Wiggins’ Scapafield Schwarz Odyssey.

VD (2 1) 1 Mumby’s Ch Scapafield Schwarz Nite Owl With Carmichan JW. A very good-looking quality 7 yr old, who belied his age. He was of good size overall, very sound and had great substance. Such a lively mover, he really strutted his stuff. Has a very pleasing head and expression and was shown in lovely coat and condition. Best Veteran. 2 Currie’s Ch Orlock Evernight for Faehat Sh.CM. Much smaller in stature than one, but still a top-quality exhibit. An energetic 9-year-old who really showed himself off well on the move.

SBB (0 0)

MPB (2 1) 1 Purse & Marsh’s Wizabeanie Cara Dune At Tidemill. Very petite little bitch, and at 6 months old there was not a lot of her, which is as it should be. She moved like a dream, and when the loudspeaker came on right in the middle of her moving around the ring, it didn’t faze her at all. It’s not the best hall for babies but her steady temperament really shone through. She was clearly just happy to be with her handler and she was a delight to go over.

PB (5 3) 1 Cary’s Carycares Dinky Diva. Very smart winner of this class at just 10 months old. Full of confidence and showed herself off beautifully on the move and carried her tail so well for one so young. So much to like about her especially her delightful head and expression with a lovely tip tilt and great outline overall. Was just full of joy and is certainly one to watch. BPB and BP in Breed. 2 Kemeny’s Tonsarne The Tiller Girl

Petite young lady at almost 12 months old. I was told it was her first show, and she appeared a little shy and didn’t hold itself with as much ease as 1. However, a lovely little bitch, with lots to like and a good textured coat.

JB (5 2) 1 Pirrie & McEvoy’s, Kinky Boots. Certainly an eye-catching winner in this class. Great substance overall and square outline. She looked lovely standing, has perhaps a shade more rear angulation than I would like, however, she moved with super confidence keeping her great profile on the move. Such a sweet feminine head and expression and text-book coat which was well presented. 2 Teasdale’s Tonsarne Tootsie Tee. Another quality exhibit with sweet head and expression, and good overall outline and coat texture. Just a little unsure of herself today on the move. 3 Cary’s The Dressmaker At Carycares

YB (4 2). 1 Pirrie’s Afterglow Affenagiggle with Riogaioch. Nice size youngster with a lovely square outline. Characteristic head and expression with a body of really good substance which she carried well when showing herself off . Such a confident, lively and sound mover. 2 Gill’s Florindale Wicked Wilma. She has a beautiful head and expression and was very well presented. Perhaps a shade longer in body, compared to leg length. So happy on the move carrying her tail upright and forever wagging. A joy to watch. Just preferred the overall shape of one today.

PGB (3 1) 1 Gill’s Florindale Here's Holly. Won this class on her head and expression and on her sound sturdy movement. Good substance overall and well presented. 2 Pirrie & McEvoy’s Darksprite Lady May Very smart in outline and substance, however, not moving at her best today,

LB (5 0). 1 Hick’s Ch Datiro Gibbontake. What a showgirl, and doesn’t she know it – so lively with such confidence, it was a pleasure to watch her on the move. A top-quality bitch with a really feminine head and dark sparkling eyes which exude that mischievous expression. Lovely shape to her body, short straight back, tail in the right place and carried high. She has the desired straight front with enough muscle in her sturdy hindquarters. It was just a delight to go over her and I was pleased to award her the BCC. 2 Callow’s Buffels Country Girl. Good head and expression and a confident and sound mover. Just carrying a bit too much weight today. 3 Teasdale’s Tonsarne Lady Mawkin

OB (5 1) 1 Shennan’s Ashiblack Jinx Johnson. Both bitches that stood first and second here were matching in top quality . Both of excellent substance, both very confident and sound in movement and presented at the highest level. Both typically feminine with all the attributes of a super head shape and desired sparkling expression. In the end it came down to the fact that today, I felt that no 1 just had the edge on exuberance and I was pleased to award her the RBCC. 2 Pirrie’s Faehat Betsi Cadwaladr Riogaioch JW. 3 Schneider & Schneider’s Jun Ch Suddenly Shuri v. Tani Kazari von Vondercroft JW (Imp Nid)
