SKC (May Show) October 2021

Many thanks to all the exhibitors for their entries on the day, and to SKC for the opportunity to award CCs at their show. The entry was good and comparable with the other shows on this weekend. The quality of the dogs was very good with no bad mouth issues, mostly all in good condition and pleased that I had many of dogs to the breed standard. I was also pleased at tail sets on my main winners being carried on the level as they should. There were a few pointers with a little too much weight, this spoils the outline and the serious of graceful curves was missing it also covered the haunch bones which should be prominent, a number of dogs feet seem to be changing towards cat like they should be oval, I was annoyed to see a few exhibitors scratching the back of the dogs to get what!! a level topline, this is not required and is detrimental to the dog.
