1. McCulough & McCullough - Kimmax Kort in Action

Quality l/w eleven month with powerful, noble build and presence, standing on the best of strong, lean bone and close-knit feet. Masculine head well bearded with correct planes and pleasing expression. Very fit and muscled for his young age, good depth of brisket and length of underline, well angulated and balanced overall with slight extra length to height. Ribcage well sprung and topline held correctly standing and moving his action again being impressive for drive and ground covering stride as a puppy, BP. Later selected in the group as a deserving PG3, congratulations.

2. Simpson - Greendale Ash

B/W rising nine months of age strongly built overall with a firm, fit body condition on show. Most typical outline, well sprung ribcage, powerful across the loins for his age. Neck strong well set into shoulders, with beard and eyebrows on show. Correctly proportioned head with dark eye colour, well set and shaped, a very sound and true mover. Not quite the coat quality of the winner on the day. Best special beginners, congratulations.

3. Quinn - Kentwone Cloudberry

Rising seven months l/w slightly square in outline but lovely beard and eyebrows on show, head very promising, well balanced with full, wide nostrils still young with time on his side. Presented in excellent firm, well covered body condition with good topline though slightly lacking in coat on the day in places.

1. Geary & Geary - Germanus Go Dutch

L/W two years of age with super breed outline well angulated overall though would like to see bit more underline extension and slightly firmer at the pasterns. Excellent muscled body condition and strong across the loins, especially well-developed hindquarters with deep second thighs. Summer coat not quite so full on the day but a very sound and true mover with lovely forward reach and powerful drive, his tail well set carried typically.

1. Jones - Mustwork Uland

Three and a half year l/w very well angulated throughout won the class on his superior construction and outline. Head well proportioned, masculine expression well bearded with dense eyebrows, correct spring of ribcage though just needs to fill out a bit more across the loins and could drop in body slightly to advantage in my opinion. Excellent muscled hindquarters producing splendid rear drive to complement extending forward reach once he settled on the move.

2. Oconnor - Karlejay Gump They LIve In Yu

Rising three years of age l/w rather square in outline I considered but presenting the best wire coat in the class, close of correct length with undercoat. Excellent lean bone and compact, close feet, not quite the finish of muzzle of the winner. Well sprung ribcage, splendid hindquarter muscling and good length of thighs producing powerful driving action and sound, true movement front and rear.

3. Leveridge - Bareve By Your Side

Similar age to dog above this l/w was very well angulated displaying a profuse beard and eyebrows, typical breed outline and good depth of body with ribbing extending well back. Coat was of excellent texture but a little sparse in places on the day and not quite the body cover across the loins of those above.

1. McCullough & McCullough - Sh Ch Ger VDH Kimmax Kurious George

A striking, powerful five and a half year l/w fully mature head furnishings, full, wide nostrils, head very masculine, balanced with eyes well set, coloured and shaped nothing to excess. Powerful, clean neck, skin tight and close all over and coat hugging body shape, of good wire texture and protective length. Ribcage correct not overly sprung ribbing extending back with balanced underline very well- muscled throughout and pleasing for size, excellent depth of brisket. Somewhat longer in body than I would have preferred but a lovely breed representative of quality and maturing to his very best on the day. A most impressive free flowing mover with precision on show front and rear covering the ground superbly with each stride, tail well set and carried. I had no hesitation in awarding him dog CC & BOB, congratulations.

2. Russell - Tickencote One Way Ticket

This liver rising five years of age possessed a coat quality on the day that was impossible to match, harsh wire topcoat with really dense undercoat, lying close and of the desired length giving the best protection the breed coat could offer. Well angulated, balanced overall standing and moving, not quite the striding movement of the winner on the day but presented in fit, muscled body condition with the best of strong, lean workmanlike bone and compact feet, slight tuck up. Showed reach and drive in profile won his place on outstanding coat qualities and breed type in a strong class. Pleased to award reserve CC, congratulations.

3. Donnelly - Sh Ch Kimmax Knock Yourself Out JW Sh.CM

Four year l/w slightly squarer in outline than those above but with a lovely balanced head, correctly shaped skull and complementary length of muzzle, full, wide nostrils, correct stop and breed expression, pleasing eye colour, shape and set and attractive facial furnishings on show, planes set true. Solid topline, skin tight and coat well textured of good length, ribcage well covered would like slightly more finish to underline. A sound and true mover front and rear demonstrating good reach and drive though I would have preferred a little more width to his action as he tended to move somewhat narrowly on the day.

1. Donnelly - Kimmax Who Kares Wins JW

Three years three months very typical b/w feminine bitch, well balanced with head correctly proportioned muzzle to skull, moderate stop, pleasing bushy beard and eyebrow furnishings, attractive breed expression. Good bone and compact feet, well sprung ribcage and firm across the loins, topline held well on the move. Skin tight and close, tail correctly set and carried.

2. OConnor - Karlejay Gump Circle Of Life

Two years ten months l/w slightly squarer build than the winner and not quite her head qualities of strength and fullness though this bitch does possess attractive head furnishings and an excellent topline, with good reach of neck set into well angulated shoulders. There was a slight lift in her forward action on the day in my opinion but her hindquarters are strong and well-muscled with deep second thighs.

LB (5,0)

1. McCullough & McCullough - Kimmax Kindly Stand Black

B/W rising seventeen months of age most typical, correctly proportioned head with attractive breed expression, dark eye colour well set and shaped eye-rims, full head furnishings on show. Good length of body but I felt her tuck-up rather definite though her overall angulation is excellent and contributes to a stylish, sweeping action covering the ground well on the move. Coat close and of correct texture with sufficient overall quality at a young age to be worthy of the bitch CC on the day, congratulations.

2. Donnelly - Beechillawn OOh Betty

L/W rising four years of age slightly squarer than the winner but presented in excellent wire textured coat, well covered and muscled body condition. Strong, lean bone and compact feet, correct topline and good depth of body. Head balanced and mature with feminine quality furnishings attractive and profuse. Moved soundly to claim the reserve CC on the day, congratulations.

3. Oconnor - Karlejay Gump Circle Of Life

Litter sister to second in LD a l/w the best mover in the class for reach and drive on the day with correct tail set, though a smaller bitch overall than those above and like her brother rather square in outline in my opinion. Pleasing expression with attractive eye colour, eyes well set and shaped, well -furnished beard and eyebrows on display, coat lying close and typically harsh textured.

OB (3,2)

1. Lovatt & Lovatt - Beechillawn Amarillo Starlight of Shirostar

Three years nine months half sister to the winner of LB, head well balanced with full beard and eyebrows on display, good length of neck set into well placed shoulders, ribcage correct without excessive spring, ribbing reaching well back. Strong, muscled hindquarters, stifles well bent, coat of correct texture though somewhat lacking in places on the day. A sound, true mover.
