1st: WELLS, Mrs J VOLGARUS WISHING WELL, my eyes were immediately drawn to this handsome young brown male. A beautifully proportioned dog with a masculine head and expression, he still needs more work to his face but that will come as he matures but he has good strength to his underjaw and a prominent chin. Super reach of neck set into good shoulders with a deep chest, well rounded ribcage and standing on good feet. Well made rear with a correct set tail and all covered by a glorious wealth of beautifully tailored coat to show off his assets. Moved true and covering the ground well holding his beautiful stylish outline. Today he was the absolute clear winner for the CC, and should make up with ease. He pushed hard for BOB but the overall maturity of the bitch just pipped him.

2nd: SIMS, Miss D Volgarus Face The Music with Meadowfair, a larger framed male than the winner who has many virtues to like. Masculine in head and expression, for me I would like less of his head and he still needs to chisel out in foreface but that should come with time as he matures. Good reach of neck, developing well in forechest, good ribcage and in good body condition. Correct tail set and nicely angulated rear. He was moving with purpose but for me he needs way less hair, it was all a bit too much, that said he still could not be denied the Reserve CC today.

3rd: SHAKESPEARE, Ms T Sariante Dick Grayson

Class 1784 SYD (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: DUMONT, Miss Y Sirensong No Apologies, smaller type of male who is a balanced package but for me he is just not masculine enough. Pleasing head and expression but again for me he needs to look like a male, dark eyes, adequate neck, needs to develop more in fore chest and have more muscle tone throughout. In good coat and moves with purpose holding his topline.

2nd: SHAKESPEARE, Ms T Sariante Dick Grayson, Larger type of male with a pleasing masculine head and lovely dark eyes. Good length of neck and well sprung of ribcage but he lacks in fore chest and muscle condition throughout. Well set tail and good bend of stifle, stands of decent feet. Covers the ground on the move but for me he lacks drive and I would like him better balanced.

3rd: WATSON TODD, Mrs K Karocolin Scarlet Baron

Class 1785 PGD NO ENTRIES

Class 1786 LD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: WYLIE, Miss L Arcaneon Rising Rivals. Pleasing in head and expression. A larger boy who is well bodied with a deep chest, good ribcage and a decent set tail. Moved ok but there is just too much of him for me.

Class 1787 OD (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: BATEY, Mrs W Donavika Got The X Factor Jw, this boy looks a picture stacked, he has a lovely headpiece and expression with dark well placed eyes. Super reach of neck with a good ribcage, well developed in front and rear and in good muscle tone throughout. Correct tail set and well angulated rear. In good coat and condition but he just let himself down completely on the move today and ruled himself out of any top honours.

2nd: WYLIE, Miss L Arcaneon Rising Rivals

Class 1788 GCD (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: WATSON TODD, Mrs K Int Ch & Croat & Bel & Dutch & Ir Ch Wonderful Wiz, a very rich eye catching colour. Pleasing type of male with a decent head and expression and good eye set. Adequate neck length, straight front, in good body condition with well bent stifles. Moved out well.

Class 1789 PB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: DUMONT, Miss Y Sirensong Show Me Heaven, a refined small feminine bitch who is developing well but still is on the immature side, she should only get better with age on her side. Pretty head and expression and is developing well in body, good hind quarters and moved out well.

Class 1790 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: MOORE, Mrs D Coolaulin Guilty Pleasures, A nicely made bitch who presented a pretty outline. She’s a larger type of female than I would personally go for but this takes nothing away from her virtues. She moved out freely today covering the ground well and was presented to show off her balanced outline.

Class 1791 SYB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: GRADY, Mrs W Natica day dream believer, pleasing type of bitch with feminine proportions throughout. Pleasing in head and expression and is nicely conditioned in body, good tail set and moving out well.

2nd: WATSON TODD, Mrs K Karocolin Scarlet Woman, a feminine looking bitch but for me needs to balance out better to complete the overall picture. She’s a beautiful colour and has a good coat but again another one affected but the uneven ring surface.

Class 1792 PGB (5 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: HUNTER, Ms E & MURPHY, Mrs A Mapleburn Sentosa at Silvora, a very pretty refined type of bitch with a feminine head and expression with a well chiselled fore face and expressive eyes. Good reach of neck, straight front, strong ribcage and well angulated rear. She moves with purpose covering the ground well and maintained a lovely balanced outline. Was in the mix for higher honours but just lost out on overall maturity to the other 2 bitches, she did push hard.

2nd: GIBSON & WELLS, Mrs & Mrs S Volgarus Magna Carta, pleasing type but for me she needs to slim down a fair bit to present a more refined appearance. She is short coupled with a good spring of rib and good bend of stifle. She holds herself on the move in outline but today she was not relaxed so she wasn’t moving as freely in her stride.

3rd: HYSLOP, Miss L Jencro White Pearl

Class 1793 LB (3 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: BRUCE, Mrs F Sarum Shirley Not Donaska JW, a beautifully balanced eye catching bitch with such a pretty feminine head and expression, dark eyes and a good chin. She has a super reach of neck, straight front, good ribcage and in fantastic body condition and muscle tone throughout. Well set tail and good bend of stifle with excellent proportions throughout. She moved soundly using herself well and maintained her outline the best in profile today and this is what gave her the advantage for the bitch CC. She has a wealth of beautiful textured coat with was presented flawlessly. CC, BOB and well done on the Group 4 placing.

2nd: HARVIE, Ms F & FRAY, Ms S Favourite Edition Polyphony with Sariante (Imp Deu), pleasing white bitch who is feminine in head and expression with good dark eyes. She is pleasing to go over with a decent spring of rib and good body condition. Today she was not moving freely in side gait or soundly in front and rear. I think another affected by the uneven ground.

Class 1794 OB (3 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: WELLS, Mrs J VOLGARUS KEEPING PROMISES, this bitch is just my cup of tea and the type of bitch I love. She has a beautiful head and dark expressive eyes with a super chin and strong undertow. She is beautifully proportioned with a great reach of neck set into good shoulders, well rounded ribcage, good body, correct tail, well angulated rear and is in excellent muscle condition throughout. She is so sound coming and going but wasn’t maintaining her outline in profile as well as the CC winner so had to settle for the reserve CC.

2nd: SIMS, Miss D Meadowfair's Law An Order, an honest type of bitch who’s just about holding colour, she presents a balanced outline with a feminine head and expression and well chiselled fore face. She is honest and well made throughout where nothing is exaggerated or flashy. Lovely outline when stacked but losing it too much in profile movement and just needed more oomph on the move to show off what she can do. I don’t think she was loving the uneven ring surface.
