SPECIAL BEGINNERS D/B (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: TAYLOR, Mrs L & TAYLOR, Mr T Coonsar The Nose Knows – 2 yr old Black & Tan Coonhound, nice size & bone, pleasing head with good skull, pleasing eye shape, good ear set, and deep muzzle, would like a touch more width and depth of chest, but I am sure this will come as this breed are slow maturing, has a nice spring of rib and good loin, nice rear, pleasing on the move.

POST GRADUATE DOG (2 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: SIMM, Mrs S Stonemartin Anlon at Ezhar – 2 yr old Azawakh, nice overall shape, has the breed characteristics in head and body, long, fine and lean, very dignified, well chiselled head, lovely expression, correct ear set, correct body proportions, nice rear, nice profile movement.

OPEN DOG (4 Entries) Abs: 1

1st: TUCKER, Mrs D Elmstracker Glacial Force – Bavarian Mountain Dog of 6 yrs old, correct size and balance on this dog, broad skull, with correct amount of shape to it, good cheeks, good expression, good length of ear, strong neck, nice width of chest, good ribbing with enough depth, parallel front and rear, well-muscled throughout. Covered the ground with drive. Pleased to award Best Dog

2nd: STANLEY, Mrs J Covehithe Steam Boat Willy – 3 ½ yr old Black & Tan Coonhound, lovely dog, not at its peak in maturity yet, but solid dog, good head planes, lovely eye and expression, correctly set ears, enough neck, going into well laid shoulders, well sprung ribbing, good topline and tailset, nicely angulated rear, moved with good reach and drive, just preferred the maturity of 1, but this male is still young! Had to settle for RBD today.

3rd: SIMM, Mrs S Swala's Shawn at Ezhar

POST GRADUATE BITCH (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: SMITH, Mr M G & HORTON, Miss K Coonsar Hill To High Water At Morganbury – 2 yr old Black & Tan Coonhound, lovely young bitch, still to hit maturity, but good overall balance, has good head planes, lovely expression, with good eye and ear set, good neck going into good shoulders, good ribbing holding a good topline & tailset, well bent stifles making a good rear, which she used on the move, awarded RBB

OPEN BITCH (1 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: MCDONALD-ULLIOTT, Mrs J Hibeck Erin – 4 yr old Griffon Fauve De Bretagne, lovely balanced bitch, longer skull and slightly narrow giving the correct proportions, dark eye of correct shape and expression, well set ear, short neck, going into correctly placed shoulders, well sprung ribs, good topline & tailset, correct rear with nothing overdone, in harsh coat, and boy did she travel over the ground. Pleased to award Best Bitch and Best AV Import Register Hound.
