Beagles
A pleasure to award CC’s for the first time in one of my very favourite breeds. Thank you for bringing your hounds.
Dogs
Minor Pup
1: BRIDGEMAN, Ms D & LOGUE, Mr H CZSIKI KOPO KUBIK WITH KINGSWIN AI (Imp Rom) NAF T, 6 month old t/w showing lots of promise and more of a piece in the class today. Masculine head with soft expression. Well made, he has a strong neck into firm topline and well set and carried stern. Balanced in angulation, he moved well for one so young with his feet in the right place. BP
2: LEWIS, Mrs C Fallowfield Flyn, 7 month tri who is in a different stage of development. His head is coming and will take time. Good to go over. He has everything in the right place. A tad erratic on the out and back today and this is where it cost him
Puppy
1: JONES, Mr T & JEPSON, Mr S Eardley Specsavers, 9 month tri with balanced head and softest expression. Strong neck into firm topline and well set stern. Balanced in outline, he moved on the right track when his mind was on the job in hand. Beautifully presented. In the challenge he just lost concentration for a moment, but time is in his side.
2: HARDISTY, Ms S Blunderhall Live Wire, tri boy out of a larger mould, masculine outlook. In excellent condition and he is good to go over. On the move he was a little erratic, but he will have better days.
Junior
1: PARKER & STEVENS, Miss & Mr S Serenaker Armani, delightful tri. His head and expression are delightful with that desired soft expression which melts you when you look into his face. On the table there is little to fault. He is balanced in angulation, strong topline and well set stern. On the move he continues to impress , totally sound, holds his outline and covers the ground with so little effort. A star of the future. Beautifully conditioned and handled, he is very much the type I prefer. Can never be overlooked. CC and BOB and his title will surely not be far off.
2: SIMKIN, Mr & Mrs D Simeldaka Senglea Squire, tri boy who moved out well. Masculine head but not quite the expression of the winner. Strong topline and balanced in outline.
Yearling
1: LEWIS, Mrs C Fallowfield Vincent, very smart tri boy with lots to like. He has a masculine head and he pleases in expression.strong neck into firm topline and his stern is spot on. In super condition. He moved out on the right track keeping his outline.
2: CHAPMAN, Mrs T M & CHAPMAN, Mr A Gemark Eyas, t/w who has a masculine outlook. Firm topline and well carried stern. He is well ribbed and is good for bone. Would perhaps prefer a little more layback in shoulder and so was not as positive in front as the winner today. Handled well
3; FERGUSON, Miss F Lillipaw Bruce the Spruce
Grad
1: WHITTON, Miss J & EDGE, Mrs E Jalhar The Wonder of You, beautifully conditioned and schooled tri, he is superbly presented. Masculine in outlook and balanced in angulation. He moved out on the right track and kept his outline, alone here but a worthy winner.
Limit
1: CAPLE, Mrs H J Morsefield Mudlark, tri boy in excellent condition, well made and pleasing in outline, moved out well when he settled. Pleases in expression.
2: WHITTON, Miss J & EDGE, Mrs E Jalhar The Wonder of You
3; SIMKIN, Mr & Mrs D Eardley Will Power at Simeldaka
Open
1: RAYMOND, Miss M Ch & VDH Ch Dialynne Peter Piper, fully mature tri boy who is an object lesson in presentation. In superb condition and well angulated behind. He has a strong topline and well set stern. His head is masculine and he has a very pleasing expression. Today on the move he scored highly, with such superb carriage and holds himself so well. I can understand why he has had such a glittering career, but today he had to bow to the freshness of youth. RCC
2: LEWIS, Mrs C Aznavour Do Casal Da Vinha In Fallowfield, another very good dog, who scores highly in the type stakes. He too will never be overlooked on the move, he just did not quite have the reach in front of the winner. One who should title easily.
3: HAVARD, Miss & Mrs L Annavah Phoenix
Bitches
Minor Puppy
1: THORNTON, Mrs J & THORNTON, Miss E Julemark Primrose at Maplelayne, t/w 7 month old coming along nicely. Feminine in outlook, pleasing expression and all in the right place on the move. Presented and handled beautifully
2: WHITTON, Miss J Jalhar New Lease of Life with Haggatty, tri girl who although today not in the same stage of maturity, pleases for type and has everything in the right place. Time is on her side
Puppy
1: PARKER & STEVENS, Miss & Mr S Serenaker Agatha Raisin, 11 month tri who pleases enormously for type. She has a very feminine outlook and her expression is super. Strong topline and well set stern. On the move she is precise but could possibly just reach more in front and this is what cost her in the challenge later.
2: BREEZE, Mrs E & BREEZE, Mr G Dufosse Honestly of Parkebreeway, beautifully presented and all of a piece this tri has a lot to give, sweet expression and smart in outline. She needs a little more confidence on the table and then she will be away. I liked her and she should a a very bright future.
3: CYPRIEN, Miss J Blunderhall Enchantment
Junior.
1: HAVARD, Miss & Mrs L Annavah Buttercup, absolutely beautiful t/ w bitch. Her head and expression are delightful, all of a piece she presents the most beautiful outline stacked. Her forehand is good, strong neck and firm topline with correctly set stern. On the move she is precise and has the most eyecatching outline. Already the mature package, she could not be denied the CC, which I understand gives her a very well deserved title.
2: BINKS, Mrs L Tannahill Tragedy TAF, pleasing tri who is good for size and type. She too holds herself on the move and has the softest of expressions.
3: BINKS, Mrs L Bayard Ruths Back Home
Yearling
1: HARDISTY, Ms S Eardley Talking In Texas With Blunderhall, very smart and balanced tri girl. Pleases for head and expression. Strong in topline and carries her stern correctly. On the move she impresses in profile and is good in front. Today a little erratic going away.
2: RICHMOND, Mrs L Canowindra Kiara, t/w out of a slightly bigger mould but still has femininity and type. In good condition, she moves on the right track. Pleases for head and expression.
3; CHAPMAN, Mrs T M & CHAPMAN, Mr A Gemark Enya
Novice
1: THORNTON, Mrs J & THORNTON, Miss E Julemark Primrose at Maplelayne
2: CYPRIEN, Miss J Blunderhall Enchantment, 6 month tri girl who in actual fact put on a better show in this class than earlier. All in the right place, her head hasn’t finished yet but she pleases for expression. In superb condition and well presented. Time is on her side.
Grad
1: BRIDGEMAN, Ms D & LOGUE, Mr H Kellitcreed Dirty Diana at Kingswin, smart tri who has an imposing outline. Would perhaps prefer her to have a little more return of upper arm, but she pleases in a lot of departments. Moves out well and she is beautifully presented.
2: WRIGHT, Mr N & MITCHELL, Mr L Huntshill Usual Suspect, tri girl with lots to like but slightly different in type to the winner. Pleases in expression and she has a firm topline. Better in front than the winner but not as positive behind.
3: CHAPMAN, Mrs T M & CHAPMAN, Mr A Gemark Ember
Post Grad
1: PRECEY, Miss S & BOLAN, Mr A Detrick Audacity, open tri with a delightful head and expression. Good to go over, she has all in the right place being balanced in angulation. Strong neck, well ribbed and firm topline. Looks decent in profile.
2: BROWNLOW, Mrs J Rushwater Pili Pala, tri girl who is good for size . Her head is ok and she has a soft expression, could possibly benefit from a few less pounds …. But then who am I to say !
Limit
1: JONES, Mr T & JEPSON, Mr S Eardley Anna Sasin, super smart and eyecatching, this bitch is a delight to go over. Her head and expression are delightful, she is in great condition and presented beautifully. On the move she can never be overlooked as she covers the ground, keeps her outline. Did her well as a puppy and with luck she should title. RCC.
2: HARDISTY, Ms S Blunderhall Fleur Tayshuss, similar in type and pleases too in outline. Sweet head and expression, just not as positive going away as the winner
3: ROBERTS, Ms C M & SPEARING, Ms D Linkenlees Laurina
Open
1: PARKER & STEVENS, Miss & Mr S Ch Serenaker Maid In America, fully mature tri girl who pleases for type and shape, she is impressive on the move and she keeps her outline. Like her very much and she is a very worthy title holder. Another who just had to give way to the younger generation today.
2: HAVARD, Miss & Mrs L Annavah Lady Gaga, tri girl who I liked very much for type and initially thought she would be my winner. She has everything in the right place but for some reason, just wouldn’t cooperate moving away today, shame
3: LEWIS, Mrs C Fallowfield Fern
