I would like to that the officers and committee for inviting me to judge this lovely show, I would also like to thank the exhibitors for a lovely entry and accepting my placings.
Labrador Retrievers
Minor Puppy Dog 2 (1ab)
1st & Best Puppy Dog, Smith’s Flyenpyg Pie Eyed, Black of 7 months of age, sweet head and expression, good length of neck flowing into good shoulder placement, nice depth of chest, good length of loin and short coupled, nice rear angles, moved well when settled.
Puppy Dog 4 (2abs)
1st Smith’s Flyenpyg Pie Eyed
2nd King’s Linthwaite Theodore, 10-month-old yellow with the correct head and expression for his age, good angles both front and rear, good depth of chest, blowing his coat today, moved well, he will need to fill his frame.
Junior Dog 5
1st Johnson’s Cremino Calabrese, Yellow of very good breed type, masculine head and expression without being overdone in anyway and just correct for his age, lovely correct angles both front and rear, nice depth of chest and spring of rib, moved well, this young dog needs to fill is frame but at present just right for his age, once filled out I think he will be one to watch.

Yearling Dog 1
1st Harvey-Major’s Linjor Winter Frost (AI), A good yellow with a sweet but masculine head and expression, good length of neck flowing into correct shoulder placement, a great depth of chest and lovely spring of rib, good angles both front and rear which allows him to move with ease and drive, correct coat and tail set. What can you say about this breeder continually breeds good bred type.
Novice Dog 8
1st Harvey-Major’s Linjor Winter Frost (AI)
2nd Ellis & Matulla’s Dolwen Stargazer, Yellow masculine head and expression, good length of neck into lovely shoulder placement, good length of back and short coupled, good angles both front and rear, nice second thigh, moved with drive and ease, correct coat, and tail set.
Graduate Dog 4 (1 ab)
1st Finney & Carpanini’s Carpenny Kipling, Lovely black with a good masculine head and expression, correct eye colour, nice length of neck flowing into correct placed shoulders, good angles both front and rear which allowed this dog to move with ease around the ring, good correct coat and tail set, firm level top line, good spring of rib and nice depth of chest. One to watch.
2nd Mount’s Buckholt Desert Storm Duke, Yellow strong head and expression, good neck and shoulders, enough depth of chest and spring of ribs, moved well.
3rd Tipson’s Ffurador First Past the Post
Post Graduate Dog 4
1st Climpson’s Othamcourt Heathcliff, Strong masculine Black with a good head and expression, good length of neck flowing into a lovely set of shoulders, good angles both front and rear, which allowed this powerful dog to move around the ring with ease, good depth of chest and spring of ribs, firm strong topline and good tail set.
2nd Hammond Davricanby Pitch Perfect at Littleeden, Black with a good head and expression, good neck, firm top line and nice turn of stifle, moved well with drive.
Limit Dog 10 (3 abs)
1st & Res CC, Godden’s Woodmist Coldplay, I have watched this dog from the ring side for a few years and he didn’t disappoint me in any way. Yellow dog with a pleasing masculine head and expression, good firm neck flowing well into well placed shoulders, nice depth of chest and a good spring of rib, firm strong top line, good length of back and nice short coupled, good turn of stifle with a well developed second thigh, moved well with drive, was always at one with his handler, correct double coat. I’m aware that this dog can sometimes carry his tail a little high on the move but standing when he relaxes his tail comes straight of his back and his tail set is correct. I was pleased to award him the res cc.
2nd Meredith’s Tweedledum Off The Record, Black with a masculine head and expression, good front and rear angles, nice depth of chest and spring of rib, firm level top line correct tail set, held well on the move, correct coat and good otter tail, moved well with drive
3rd Mclellan’s Saranden Pensacola
Open Dog 3 (1 ab)
1st & CC Hodge’s Naiken Elite Envoy (AI) JW Ir J CH, Masculine Chocolate with a lovely head and expression, correct eye colour, firm strong neck flowing into the correct shoulder placements, correct angles both front and rear, good depth of chest and good spring of ribs, firm top line, short coupled and good length of loin, good well developed second thigh, which allowed him to move around the ring with ease, this dog was in hard condition and would easily do a days work in the field, He was not in his best coat today, but everything else was what I was looking for, I was pleased to award him the CC today.
2nd Harvey-Major’s Linjor Rigsby JW Sh CM, Yellow with a masculine head and expression with out being done in any way, firm neck flowing into good, placed shoulders, nice angles both front and rear, nice depth of chest and spring of rib, firm top line and correct tail set that was held well on the move, correct coat and tail set, moved with ease around the ring
Veteran Dog 4 (2 abs)
1st Chapman’s Killanow Sential at Daisypatch, 10-year-old yellow, with a good head and expression, good neck and shoulder placement, good depth of chest and spring of ribs, good turn of stifle and second thigh, good coat, moved and showed well.
2nd Jenner’s Rossacre Trial Blaser at Lyjansen, 10-year-old black, masculine head and expression, good spring of ribs and depth of chest, level top line, good turn of stifle and second thigh, moved well.
Minor Puppy Bitch 5 (1ab)
1st McLellan’s Wynfaul Resolution for Saranden, sweet feminine black with a lovely head and expression, correct eye colour, nice length of neck going into correct shoulder placements, lovely angles both front and rear, level top line, good length of back, nice loin and short coupled, good depth of chest and spring of rib, good turn of stifle moved and showed well.
2nd Percival’s Wynfaul New Years Eve, another sweet feminine black with a feminine head and expression, good angles both front and rear, well developed second thigh, good firm topline, good coat and tail set, good depth of chest and spring of ribs, moved and showed well.
3rd Marskell’s Berolee Madonna
Puppy Bitch 5
1st BP & Res CC Jayes & Casey’s Lapema Masquerade at Sandylands, Yellow with the most melting head and expression, good length of neck going into well placed shoulders, lovely depth of chest and good spring of rib, firm level top line, nice short coupled and good length of loin, good turn of stifle, correct coat and tail set, moved with drive around the ring always at one with her handler. I was pleased to watch her win the Gundog Puppy Group, congratulation, I was please to award her the res cc I just couldn’t deny her the award.
2nd Braddon’s Trendlewood Shape of You, yellow with a feminine head and expression, good length of neck into well placed shoulders, good and correct angles both front and rear, lovely spring of ribs and depth of chest, level topline which was held on the move, good coat, moved with drive around the ring.

1st Percival’s Wynfaul Dancing Flame, Yellow good head and expression, firm neck going into well placed shoulders, nice angles both front and rear, good spring of ribs and depth of chest, level top line, short coupled, good turn of stifle and well developed second thigh which she used to move around the ring with ease.
2nd Stringer’s Tumbledown Wild Spirit, Yellow sweet head and expression, good neck, level topline, good chest and spring of ribs, good coat, moved and showed well.
Yearling Bitch 1
1st Wiles’ Richbourne Hermione, upstanding yellow, with a sweet feminine head and expression, nice length of neck going into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest and spring of ribs, level topline and correct tail set, which was held on the move, good turn of stifle and well developed second thigh. Moved with ease around the ring.
Novice Bitch 8
1st McLellan’s Wynfaul Happy New Year for Saranden, sweet feminine yellow with a lovely head and expression, nice neck, good angles both front and rear, nice spring of ribs and deep chest, level top line and correct tail set, correct coat, moved with drive around the ring.
2nd Ellis & Matulla’s Dolwen Morning Star, Yellow with sweet head and expression, good length of neck into good shoulders, good angles both front and rear, level topline, good depth of chest and spring of rib, correct tail set, moved well.

2nd Hobby’s Icarus Call Me Madam, Yellow nice head and expression, good angles both front and rear, good topline and tail set, nice depth of chest and spring of rib, good turn of stifle, moved well around the ring.

1st Carpanini’s Carpenny Berry, feminine black with a sweet head and expression, good length of neck going into well placed shoulders, good depth of chest and spring of ribs, firm top line and correct tail set, which she held well on the move, good angles both front and rear, well developed second thigh, moved with drive around the ring with ease, correct coat and texture.
2nd Jones’ Hafnau Georgette, upstanding black with a sweet head and expression, good firm neck into well placed shoulders, nice angles both front and rear, good depth of chest and spring of rib, level top line, moved well with drive around the ring.

2nd Hodge’s Naiken Etoile (AI), litter sister to my dog CC winner, feminine chocolate with sweet head and expression, correct eye colour, nice depth of chest and spring of rib, correct angles both front and rear, firm level topline which was held well on the move, good turn of stifle, moved with drive around the ring.

1st CC & BOB Hodge’s Sh Ch Naiken Dance Rhythm JW IR J Ch, Well I have admired this bitch from when I first saw her at 6 months of age, and I can tell you she did not disappoint me one little bit. Black with the sweetest feminine head and expression, good length of neck flowing into well placed shoulders, lovely angles both front and rear, lovely depth of chest and good spring of ribs, firm level topline and correct tail set which she held well while she moved around the ring with drive, well developed second thigh, correct coat texture. It was my pleasure to award her the CC and BOB, but it was also nice to see her make the cut in a strong gundog group, congratulations.
2nd Jayes & Casey’s Sandylands High Time, well this kennel certainly knows how to breed a Labrador which has had the same type for many years now and a credit to the breeders. Yellow bitch with a sweet feminine head and expression, good neck into well placed shoulders, lovely depth of chest and spring of rib, good top line, and correct tail set, lovely correct angles both front and rear, moved and showed well, moved with ease around the ring.
