Many thanks to GSOW for the kind invitation to award my first set of CC’s in English Springers. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. Thanks also to my stewards for their help and efficiency.

1ST Calvert’s CALVDALE SCARAMOUCH JONES

Well-proportioned 7 months L/W Well shaped head with kind expression. Long neck leads to well-placed shoulders. Good length of rib and firm couplings give a well-balanced body. Good rear angulation with a nice turn of stifle and hocks are let down nicely. Moved well for his age showing a good length of stride.

1ST Casey and Jones’ SANDYLANDS XPRESS DELIVERY

Just out of puppy. Well-shaped head with good stop, ear placement and typical expression. Clean neck of good length flows into well laid shoulders. He is correct in front with enough width and elbows are nicely tucked in. He is well developed for his age with a firm top line and width to his quarters. He moved very well, One for the future.

1ST Richardson and Terry-Richardson’s CHERISHYM DOFIDA

Pleasing youngster shown in full coat. Well-developed head with good eye shape and well placed ears. Strong legs and tight, compact feet. Good length of rib. Has a lovely bend of stifle. A little unsettled on the move.

2ND Thomas’ TIGERROCK OCELLATUS

Well bodied 2 year old carrying plenty of coat. Good length of rib, short coupled. Nice width to his quarters and good rear angulation with well turned stifles.

1ST Richardson and Terry-Richardson’s CHERISHYM DRACONIS

Litter brother to winner of the previous class and in equally good body and coat. Balanced in head with good stop. Straight in front. Well boned legs and good feet. He has a balanced body with length to his ribs and firm over the loins. Well angulated quarters. He moved well showing reach and drive.

2ND House’s GLEADSBURY GUNPOWDER PLOT

Well-made 2-year-old with a straight, well boned front and tight round feet. Balanced body with good depth and firm couplings. Good rear angulation. Moved steadily and truly.

1ST Allen and Bott’s TRIMERE TIPPING POINT OF ALLENIE

Lovely youngster. Balanced head with good stop and well-shaped eyes. Straight front, well rounded feet. Strong clean neck of good length leads to well angulated shoulders. Well sprung ribs and firm short couplings. He is well developed behind with good width to his thighs and well-turned stifles. Hocks are well let down. He moved really well. My RCC winner.

1ST Topliss’ SH CH BERESFORD NIGHT TRAIN

At 4 years, must be approaching his best. Super headed with good shape and kind eyes and well set ears. Strong, clean neck of good length. He has a well-constructed front with plenty of bone and lovely feet. Balanced in body with length and depth to his chest and strong firm loins. He has good width to his quarters and stifles are well turned. He moved well, covering the ring nicely and carrying his tail correctly. CC and Best of Breed.

2ND Such’s TRIMERE TICKS THE BOX AT MUJASCAL SHCM

Another good one in this strong class. Again well developed in head with typical expression and square in muzzle. He has a good length of neck and is correct in front. He is firm in topline and has well angulated quarters. In good body and coat, he moved well

1ST Taubman’s MEONSTOKE HAWTHORN

One I really liked today. At 8 is beginning to grey in muzzle but this does not detract. Balanced head with good stop and well set ears. Arched neck of good length leads to well laid shoulders. Strong legs and good round feet. Well developed in body, he has good length to his ribs and is firm in topline. Good rear angulation and correct tail set. He moved really well showing drive and strength. Best Veteran.

1ST Calvert’s CALVDALE FLUTTER

Pretty 7 month old with lots to like. Balanced head, not over done in any way. Good eyes with well-set ears. She is straight in front, elbows nicely tucked in for her age. Well balanced in body short coupled with a good tail set. She has well angulated quarters which she used to advantage on the move. Edged this class on movement and maturity. One for the future. Best Puppy.

2ND Corbett’s TRIMERE TIME FLYS

At 6 months, is also showing lots of promise. Pleasing in head with clean neck of good length. She is correct in front with straight, well boned legs and round feet. Good length of rib. Well angulated quarters and good set on of tail. She moved well for her age.

Just 9 months and showing a positive attitude with wagging tail. Clean neck of good length. Well laid shoulders, nicely tucked in elbows. Good length of ribs and short couplings.

Strongly made but balanced through. Lovely head with kind expression, good eye colour and correct ear placement. Straight in front. Moved well in both directions showing drive.

Approaching two, well boned but still feminine through. Good head with well-placed ears and good eyes. Strong straight front legs, with elbows neatly tucked in. Good length of rib and well angulated quarters, hocks well let down. Moved well.

1ST Taubman’s MELTAROSE MADELEINE AT MEONSTOKE

Really liked the head on this 21 month old. Well-shaped with gentle expression and good stop. Straight front and balanced in body, she has well angulated quarters and a good set on of tail. A really nice type with nothing exaggerated, moving well. Should go on to do well.

2ND Topliss’ SANDYLANDS SEND MY LOVE

Different type and not as forward as the winner. Full of life today. Balanced in head with well boned straight front. Good length of ribs and firm couplings. Plenty of rear angulation. Just needs to settle on the move.

1ST Cokell’s CARLYQUINN KISSES OF FIRE JW

Stylish L/W approaching 3 and looking the part. I gave her Best Puppy, last time I judged and I was delighted to see how she has progressed. Lovely head with plenty of work and correct ear placement giving that typical expression. Strong clean neck of good length, well laid shoulders. Well-developed ribs and firm topline lead to well angulated quarters. Presented to advantage and shown in lovely condition. Moved well to win the CC, her first.

2ND Crouch’s TRIMERE TIMELESS WITH KASSAN

Another that I Have previously admired, looking well and presented in first class order. Lovely head with good length of neck and layback of shoulder. Straight in front. She has good width and depth to her chest, strong quarters with well-turned stifles. Moved well. Pushed hard for top honours.

Top quality B/W with well-shaped head, dark eyes and kind expression. Clean neck of good length leads to well laid shoulders. Well bodied with good ribcage and firm short couplings. Strong over her loins and good width to her quarters. She has well-turned stifles and hocks are well let down. Well-presented and given a chance to settle, moved really well. A worthy RCC winner.

2ND Havard’s TRIMERE TIME TO SHINE AMONG ANNAVAH

Another good one. Balanced in head with plenty of shape and well placed ears. Strong well boned legs. Good length of rib. She was enthusiastic on the move.

At 9, is moving well and showing a positive temperament, obviously enjoying her day. Smaller type, with enough bone and straight front. She has well angulated quarters and coat was in good condition.
