I would like to say a huge thank you to the exhibitors for their entry and kind patience for the long wait to be judged, it was a real pleasure and honour.

1ST TSAR OF DEE (MR J M ROBERTS)

Liked the compact outline of this 2 year old dog. A happy chap with a cheeky personality. He has a masculine head, which is well balanced and has the desired strength to the foreface. He has a good eye colour and a kind expression. The ribcage is well sprung, and holds a level topline both stood and on the move. Falling away a little at the croup. Showing good drive in his profile movement a fraction close behind. Lovely dense coat, curls a little open.

1ST MALANIS QUARTER MASTER (MR W B SCLATER)

Loved the outgoing personality of this 5 year old dog, such a character. Pleasing overall size and shape. Being compact and sturdy in appearance. He has a handsome and masculine head, which is well proportioned with the desired strength to the foreface and a well toning almond shaped eye. Strong neck with a slight arch, well developed forechest. Good spring to the ribs, stifles well bent. Shown in a coat with a good curl to the coat. Moving out with good drive - RBD

1ST STANEGATE FLY ME TO THE MOON WITH SHELSEIVAD SHCM (MRS E & MR M DAVIES)

This dog is looking super for his 9 years of age. Apart from a smattering of grey hairs on his muzzle there is nothing to give away his age. He is looking in fine fettle and can still act the clown. He is an upstanding dog with a regal bearing about him. He has a quality head, with a super dark brown eye. Good length of neck flowing smoothly into a firm topline. Lovely depth and the typical barrel rib, which are carried well back. Strong hindquarters. He moves with a ground covering action showing a slight roll. Shown in a coat of good colour, texture and curl. BD & BOB

Difficult class as both bitches were at very different stages of growth, I am sure both will finish well

1ST BLUE JEWEL'S DAN NAF (MRS D RANCE)

This little bitch stole my heart, at just 6 months and a few days old. She still has a lot of growing and maturing to do as you would expect, but she was very together at present for overall balance. Liked her balanced head piece, showing good length and strength to the foreface and nicely domed backskull. Eye toning with coat colour. Good length of neck enough depth for her age, well boned limbs. Well bent stifles, and short hock to heel. Moving out with a spring in her step, with correct footfall. Coat showing a curl

2ND STANEGATE CAST A SPELL (WEAVING)

A more well grown 8 month old bitch, at one of those in- between stages, as she is looking a little rangier at present, but it will all come together in time. She has a pleasing head, with strength all through, toning eye and a very kind and inquisitive expression showing her cheeky nature. Good length of neck, forelegs straight and well under the body. A little loose in topline today. Nicely angulated hindquarters. A positive and free mover

1ST GLOI DONN CRAZY LITTLE THING (MS E J & DR L WALKER & ROBERTS)

Thought this 16 month old bitch to be very smart, she is balanced and unexaggerated and full of breed type. Being upstanding, sturdy and shapely, whilst retaining her femininity. Pleasing head, which is well proportioned, good strength to the foreface with an alert expression. Her clean neck of good length flowing seamlessly into a firm and well held topline. Lovely spring to the ribs to give the barrel shape, with a strong loin. Well developed hindquarters, showing a good width of thigh and bend of stifle. Covering the ground with an easy stride. Very close up for top honours, today preferring the front movement of the open bitch, but splitting hairs. In excellent coat and condition – RBB

1ST KANDALIN GOLDEN STORM (WEAVING)

Pleasing 3 year old bitch of good overall shape and type. Showing good balance and proportions. Appealing head, with length and strength to the muzzle. Well shaped eye of toning colour giving a kind expression. Liked her well developed forechest and strong spring of rib. Balanced angulation fore and aft, strong hindquarters and short hock to heel. Moved with lovely width behind and drive, a fraction loose in front. Presented in lovely coat and condition

1ST IR SH CH MALANIS TIME TRAVELLER (AI) (MRS H J DENBIGH)

Most impressed by this 6 year old bitch, she is of a lovely size, has substance and is so feminine. She possesses a compact silhouette when stood and oozes breed type. Her head shows good balance with a domed backskull and depth and length to the foreface. Lovely shape and colour to the eye and very alert to her handler. She is soundly built throughout, developed forechest, deep in the ribs, with a short strong loin and shapely hindquarters, with well let down hocks. Shown in tip top condition and coat with good curl. Liked her free flowing movement, which showed drive from strong quarters with the typical slight roll. BB & RBOB
