I want to thank the committee of SYWC for inviting me to judge their Championship Show (bitches) and the exhibitors for the quantity and quality of their entries, due to this it made some of my decisions very challenging but all the more enjoyable. Thanks also to my co-judge, Lorena, I really enjoyed my day.
I now award Challenge certificates in five breeds and would like to say that I think Whippets overall as a breed have a real depth of quality which has been maintained over a long period of time. This is a testament to the breeders and their knowledge of their own breeding lines and those of others, as with any breed there are faults to be seen but I think they are not as numerous as they are in other breeds, this makes judging whippets a real pleasure.
