Championship show 2021

8 - 11 July 2021

BEST PUPPY IN SHOW

Thoroughly enjoyed judging this top flight selection of puppies. In some cases, I had exhibits which were exactly six months old while in others there were dogs which were making their only appearance in a puppy class, due to the enforced lockdown created by the pandemic. In every case, these puppies showed exemplary temperament which is remarkable under the circumstances. After the year we have had, it is a joy to be back at shows again & I don’t think the average exhibitor gets to see the total picture of just how much work is involved in the scheduling, postponement & re-scheduling of events in the very challenging circumstances such as we have at present. My congratulations to East of England for steeling themselves & staging a successful show at a time when other events have sadly had to fall by the wayside. Thank you to Mr John Orbell, Mrs Pat Dufty and their loyal team for a most interesting and enjoyable four days.
