I always have fun judging this breed and today i was truly spoilt with some top quality dogs in both sexes. Overall size is good, still a few that could be more compact in body. What is very positive is the breed is in a strong position and today the bitches had strength in quality from the puppy class right through which can only be good for the future of the breed.

 SBD

1)nicely proportioned dog with good leg length, masculine head, slight stop, has strength of muzzle, dark eye. Big feet, short loin, needs to drop in rear slightly. High set tail. Sound mover from all angles 

PD

1)as above 

2)masculine male, well built all through with good bone and substance, dark pigment, well proportioned head and skull. Moderate neck, level back, deep chest, loin ok, prefer more strength in the rear. 

JD

1)nicely made front.masculine but not course, dark eye well placed, a little flat in skull. Good size, big feet. Pleasing shape with well sprung ribs. Level back. Moderate rear. Once settles moved well. Balanced all though 

2)stronger dog than 1, a little longer cast than ideal, good bone.ok neck, with straight forelegs. Prefer shorter loin. Needs to firm up in topline, need more animation on the move, out of coat a little.

YD|

1)3 nice dogs but all slightly different in type, winner had best proportions for me. Short back, good length of leg, masculine in a neat package. Pleasing head with dark eye, from well under body. Well sprung ribs. A tad over done in rear, high set tail, lovely condition 

2)nicely Ames g/w with dark eye, slight stop. Also well made in front, holds his shape at all times, mod rear, short loin with well angled rear. Harsh coat texture

1)lovely shape, well proportioned head piece, square muzzle, slight stop, neat ear well placed, prefer eye a tad darker, nicely made front. Big feet, very firm topline with high set tail. Sound mover. Uses his rear well.lovely coat texture. Nice type and pushed for top honours. Lots to like.

1) a nicely made dog, not exaggerated in any way, balanced head piece, good skull,, square muzzle, nice bone with big feet. Holds his shape on move, low set hocks. Big coat. Steady mover 

2)nicely constructed dog, prefer him shorter in foreface. Dark eye. Pleasing neck. Ribs of good length, high set tail, low set hocks. Needs to firm up in topline 

LD

1)lovely class, really nice shape and balance, square muzzle with strength in underjaw, legs well under his frame, ex topline, High set tail, big ribs, short loin.sturdy body, good coat,Really picks up on the move holding his shape at all times, has Style and animation, super type. Happy to award him the DCC

2)very nice honest dog, good to go over,balanced and full of breed type. Liked his head piece, dark eyes, big feet, straight forelegs. Like 1 he holds his shape. Just preferred the animation on move of 1 but like this dog v much 

OD

1)quality class, very nicely made dog, nice size. Moderate and balanced all through. Masculine head with strength of muzzle, slight stop. On the move he uses all he has to his advantage he is heavy coated but nice underneath to go over. Firm topline, short muscled loin, high set tail,nice type RDCC

2)like 1 is very well balanced with good proportions, dark exp eyes. Front well under body, high set tail , holds his shape on the move, low set hocks, nice type, shown in beautiful coat and muscular condition, previously I have given him a RCC as junior and nice to see he has matured into a lovely dog.

VD

1) exc shape and proportions, ideally like more masculinity but well put together, balanced head with nice exp, slight stop, holds his shape at all times. High set tail,steady mover 

2 stronger boned dog and well put together, shade longer cast than 1, masc head, big nose, straight forelegs with good feet,, positive mover, just like a firmer topline 

MPB

1)3 lovely pups, winner has a lovely balanced outline, dark pigment, large round eyes. Moderate neck with straight front. Compact body, high set tail. Once she settled down she holds her shape well, nice type.

2)slightly bigger frame than 1 but still nicely proportioned and balanced. Lovely head and exp. good string neck. Firm topline with high set tail, positive mover. Still needs to develop in rib but like 1 lots to like 

PB

1)exc shape and proportions, loved her balance with no exaggeration, good bone and substance. Correct head with strength of muzzle. Low set hocks, liked her animation on the move 

2)1st MPB

JB

1) where do I begin… love her, screams TT from all angles, balanced with excellent proportions.she has a detailed and feminine head piece, Moderate neck, her shape is exactly what the breed should look be with a compact body, square in outline, ribs extend well back and a short loin.Full of breed type. Moderate rear, low set hocks, in good coat and condition, she comes alive on the move where her outline remains the same which is so rare. Could watch her all day long in profile.had no hesitation giving her the CC and BOB, not only is she a deserved champion in the future she is also capable and worthy of winning groups and competing with top dogs. Dogs like this make judging a pleasure..

2) a very nicely made bitch very unfortunate to come up against my winner, liked her substance and shape. She places her feet well, lovely head and exp with dark eyes. Big feet, high set tail. 2 top juniors, i see are littermates too, quite a litter..

YB

1)nicely made black bitch, feminine well proportioned head piece, slight stop, dark eye well placed. Still needs to develop in rib and body but I liked her shape and balance, high set tail. Correct moderate backend with low set hocks. An honest unexaggerated typey bitch.

2) smaller framed bitch, feminine head, dark eye, prefer a tighter front, well sprung ribs,, good tail. Just preferred proportions of 1. Correct coat texture

1) I liked her shape, she is a slightly bigger mould but not overdone, super head and exp. large bones, gook stop. Big feet with straight forelegs. Low set hocks, etc coat and condition, Free mover, nice type

2)Still a junior and needs to develop in body, better size than 1, good front assembly. Strong neck. Firm back with high set tail. Moderate rear, could be fraction shorter in loin.

PGB

1)2 typey bitches of a similar stamp, detailed feminine head with correctly proportioned skull. Good length of leg, exc topline, moderate angles front and back, holds her shape all times 

2) another feminine bitch with a detailed head piece. Ok neck, fraction lower stationed than 1, good ribs, high set tail, liked her rear quarters 

LB

1)really strong class. Winner has exc proportions and balance, not overdone in any way, good skull, dark pigment, straight forelegs with good feet. Ribs well sprung, high set tail. Nice size and shape with right amount of coat. Liked her in profile on the move.

2) feminine bitch with good substance and proportions. Detailed head, like 1 has fill in front which many lack. Holds her shape on move, exc tail, honest and unexaggerated.. close decision and both worthy of top honours.

OB

1)top class all through. Certainly more positives than negatives in each place. Winner just had that little extra on the move for me. So well put together. Has bone and substance but not coarse. Square muzzle, large nose,round eye, holds her shape at all times with a high set tail, strong rear, exc condition and type, very positive mover, top quality bitch shown in great condition. Today is a day when i would like to give out 2 BCC instead of this last having to have a RCC on this occasion.

2)under her coat her frame and construction is very nice, pleasing head and expressive eyes, moderate neck, muscled short loin, is the right shape with no exaggeration at all and she is very collected like 1 on the move. Full of breed type and another top drawer bitch 

VB

1)she is 11 and doesn’t look like it 1 bit. Very nice shape with good legs, very topline, her front is nicely under her body, good reach of neck. Very collected and in super condition, real credit to her owner, 

2)a nice typey g/w bitch, liked her head piece, straight forelegs, ideally like a firmer topline, high set tail, moderate rear with correct coat texture, nice type and also in nice condition
