Breed: Retriever (Golden)

PAIGNTON & DISTRICT DOG FANCIERS ASSOCIATION – 6TH AUGUST 2021

GOLDEN RETRIEVER CRITIQUE

Firstly many thanks to the officers and committee of Paignton for the opportunity to judge at their show. Their organisation and hospitality was exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed the appointment. I was delighted with my main winners, however, I was concerned with the number of dogs that were long in body and short in leg and without careful planning and consideration this could become a major problem for our breed and ultimately unable to fulfil the ‘fit for function’ requirement.
