Breed: Lowchen (Little Lion Dog)

I would like to thank all the exhibitors for their entries and my very competent stewards for all their hard work which helped make my day so enjoyable.

 Minor Puppy Dog (2) 1 Brown’s Broevans May the Hero Shine – masculine black and cream who is so mature for his age.Beautifully balanced head with broad skull and muzzle, large dark eyes , good mouth, pleasing neck and shoulders, straight front with good width, strong well sprung rib, short loin, good tail set , moved true RCC.

2 Morgan Stanley’s Golbourne I’m So Worth It – Raw 6 month cream sable who was full of himself and enjoying his day. Correctly proportioned head, strong jaw, pleasing eye, neat feet, would prefer more neck , strong well balanced body with firm topline , well rounded rump with pleasing angulation. Excellent front movement for one so young.

  

Puppy Dog (2) 1 Morgan Stanley’s Golbourne Okay Yah – black and cream who was immature but so full of breed type and really stylish. Beautiful outline stood, a pleasure to go over. Well proportioned head, good mouth, lovely neck and shoulders , straight front, short well made body , level topline , good tail set, full of himself on the move, will watch with interest how he matures.

2 Ousbey’s Golbourne Let’s Parti On – 10 month black and white , lots to like about him. Well constructed and balanced throughout, moved and showed well but preferred the eye and angulation of winner.

  

Junior Dog (3) 1 Morgan Stanley’s Golbourne My Kinda Parti – well coated white and black who was beautifully presented as were all from this kennel. Balanced head with well defined stop, good width of jaw and muzzle, correct scissor bite, well developed body, level topline which was held on the move , strong muscled hindquarters with nice turn of stifle, correct tail set ,moved freely with drive.

2 Coburn & Sproul’s Lansilk’s Star Lover For Khandro – Masculine black and cream in good coat. Broad skull with correct stop, longer in foreface than I prefer , large dark eye, good pigment, nice mouth, well developed rib , slightly long in the loin, strong well muscled hindquarters with the desired tail set a little unsure on the move.

3 Patterson, Patterson & Patterson’s Hollinsclose’s Prisoner Via Bratilda (taf)

  

Post Graduate Dog (1) 1 Watt’s Cleview Goin Commando – well presented black white Parti in good coat of correct texture. Nicely balanced head with strong muzzle and an attractive dark eye, short well proportioned body , nice rounded rump, moved freely but had a tendanacy to lose his topline.

 

Limit Dog (2) 1 Kenyon’s Jameneli Puzzle At Movalian – masculine gold sable in good coat which was well presented. Classic outline when stood, lovely broad head with strong muzzle & well defined stop, correct scissor bite , large round eye giving a pleasing expression, adequate neck , straight front , neat feet, nice shoulder placement , short well ribbed body , firm level topline , strong well muscled hindquarters with good angulation, correct tail set , active free movement CC and BOB.

2 McFarlane’s Kerryken Keir Rob – mature black and cream in good condition. Masculine head with pleasing dark eye and expression , good mouth, straight front, nice feet ,well bodied with firm topline , a little longer cast than winner, moved with drive.

  

Open Dog (4 1) 1 Brown’s Jadechar Simply A Hero – black and cream in good coat of correct texture. Beautiful balanced head with broad skull and muzzle, large dark expressive eyes, good pigment, pleasing neck and shoulders, strong well ribbed body, good tail set , showed well.

2 Richardson’s Eleazer Via Hollinsclose (Imp Ita) – Black and cream in lovely condition , masculine without being course, preferred the head balance and expression of winner. Pleasing front construction, neat feet, strong well sprung rib, good topline, could be shorter in loin, well muscled hindquarters with nice angulation, moved with drive.

3 Coburn & Sproul’s Danack’s Million Reasons for Khandro.

 

Veteran Dog (1) 1 McFarlane’s Sharlarna Eagle Eye At Glendyke Shcm vwStrongly made dog who I have judged before and is still looking well, credit to his owner. Masculine throughout , lovely balanced head with strong muzzle, good stop, well made body, strong muscled hindquarters, in full coat which was soft and silky, at one with his owner on the move . Best Veteran  

  

Minor puppy bitch (1) 1 Morgan Stanley’s Golbourne Maid Of Diamonds – Very feminine baby who wasn’t phased at all, pretty head with appealing expression , correct bite, straight front , good rib, nice topline, moderate rear angulation, active and full of character on the move.

  

Puppy Bitch (6 1) Really strong class which bolds well for the future of the breed.                   1 Patterson, Richardson & Gibson’s Hollinsclose Midnite Sky – 10 month black and cream in good coat and shown in pristine condition. Well developed baby who is so balanced throughout. Lovely head , broad in skull, strong muzzle with good width, and correct stop ,large dark eyes which gave a melting expression , strong jaw with correct bite, neck of good length leading to well laid shoulders, short well proportioned body with good rib, firm topline, nicely muscled hindquarters with good angulation and tail set , moved soundly CC and BPIB.

2 Brown’s Broevan’s The Cost Of Fun – Ultra feminine baby who was in excellent condition. Smaller than winner but had good substance. Balanced head with the darkest of eye , straight front with good depth of chest, well sprung rib, short loin , nicely muscled hindquarters came into her own on the move covering the ground with ease so sound, preferred the over all picture of winner when stood RCC

Post Graduate Bitch (3 1) 1 Proctor & McGowen’s Golbourne Crème de la Crème Avec Tramarlian – 10 month Parti who never stopped showing . very feminine throughout , nice balanced head which stills needs to develop, good eye , nice depth of chest, neat feet, strong well proportioned body , moved soundly, needs to mature and grow on.

2 McFarlane’s Kerryken Purity – very feminine silver and cream, beautiful dark eye, head of pleasing proportion but skull was a little domed , good neck and shoulders, straight front , coat of correct texture , needs more width throughout.

 

Limit bitch (3) 1 Blore’s Jameneli Rapunzal For Movalian -– nice sized bitch who is so typical of the breed, classic head piece, broad skull flat between the ears, short muzzle with good stop, strong jaw, correct bite , nice sized eye , short well ribbed body but carrying a little extra weight, strong hindquarters with nice angulation, correct tail carriage, coat going throughout change but silky to touch, steady on the move.

2 Foster's Golbourne Sweet Dreams - feminine lady of pleasing size, pretty head of good proportions, large expressive dark eyes, straight front with good width of fore chest , short well ribbed body , free driving movement, coat needs some work .

3 Waldron’s Stoneside Fennela at Snowmead

  

Open bitch (3) 1 Richardson’s Micador Midnight Dreams – immaculately presented silver & cream. Larger and stronger made than I prefer but still full of quality. Beautiful head and expression, good pigment, pleasing neck and shoulders, straight front, well constructed hindquarters, correct tail set, on the move a little wide in front but excellent rear drive.

2 Foster’s Golbourne Dreamed A Dream – Attractive bitch of good size, well balanced throughout , nothing exaggerated. On the move didn’t have the drive of winner.

3 Morgan Stanley’s Golbourne Gosh I’m Posh

 

Veteran bitch (1) McFarlane’s Glendyke You Rock My World – seven and half and still showing the true lowchen character, she really made her owner work hard. Nice size, very feminine, short and square , balanced head , lovely eye, lively on the move.
