Norwegian Elkhound

JD (1) 1st Kestos Rex Of Rothenborg. 17 month old youngster who, considering was a ‘lockdown pup’ gave a really good account of himself. Liked his overall proportions and appeals greatly in head, eye and typical expression. Moderately angled, excellent high tail set, tight curl and carried well. Good coat and colour. Moved sound and true in all directions. Should have aa good future. RBD & Best Junior.

PGD (1) 1st K Rex Of R.

LD (1) 1st Bowerhinton Bassanio. Approaching 2 years and maturing well. Correct wedge-shaped head, good eye and expression. Small, well set ears. Moderate neck leading to a sound front. Good body and holds his topline well. Moved out well once settled.

OD(2) Two good dogs here but slightly different in type.

1st Aus Ch. Graabine Last Man Standing At Whittimere. Compact dog that gives off a typical outline on the stack. Appealing head, well proportioned showing strength but in no way coarse. Good eye and bite. Medium neck, deep chest, firm topline and well muscled loins. Tail set and carriage ok. Liked his functional length of leg. Good double coat, well presented. Really covered the ground on the move and handled to bring out his best. BD & BOB.

2nd Whittimere No Nonsense Of Rothenborg. Another really good, masculine dog. Well proportioned all through. Good conformation, excellent high tail set and carriage. In-between coats at present. Moved well enough, just not the overall stride of 1st. Think he should easily gain his title.

PB(1) 1st Bowerhinton Bright Lady. The only puppy here today but very promising in all departments. Feminine, balanced, wedge-shaped head. Dark, expressive eye and excellent ear set and carriage. Medium neck, good body for her age. Balanced angles front and back. Just starting to blow her puppy coat but good colour. Moved very well, just needs to firm-up slightly going away. BP.

PGB (1) 1st Bowerhinton Bee Portia. Lovely feminine bitch for size and type, but not lacking substance or bone. Good height to length proportions. Lovely head, eye and expression. Scissor bite. Excellent body and coat. Showing well here and moved out sound and true, particularly from profile. Correct tail set and carriage. Well presented. BB.

LB (1) 1st Norvin Joyeux Noel. Pretty bitch. Built on slightly smaller lines. Wedge head, good eye shape and colour, Uses her ears to best advantage. Medium neck, chest ok, balanced angles. Holds her outline well at all times. Moved soundly in all directions. Excellent double coat and colour. Beautifully presented.

OB (1) 1st Ned Ch. Bowerhinton Bettina. Larger type of bitch. Super head and expression. Keen showgirl that uses her ears well. Good neck, deep chest, mature body. A bit long in loin. Strong quarters. Coat just beginning to blow. Moved well. RBB.
