I had a lovely day where I was made very welcome from all exhibitors present, thank you. This is a beautiful breed that I have admired for many years and I was delighted with the entry, I found all exhibits confident with good temperaments, particularly those dogs that had never seen a show ring. All exhibitors accepted my decisions with good grace which is always nice to see! Thrilled to see my BOB go on to win Working Group 2 and also BIS at the Southern Bullmastiff Society Championship show, that took place after my judging. Equally thrilled to see my BPIB win the Puppy Group and take RBPIS, well done!

1. Myers/Morgan’s Optimus Douglas. Quality young male of 11 months, lovely square, expressive head, dark eye and correct head proportions. Excellent front and good angulation, correctly muscled for a young dog and developing beautifully, most certainly a young star in the making. Moved out well in all directions and presented in immaculate condition. Delighted to see him win the working puppy group and then RBPIS, well done! BPD, BPIB, WPG1 & RBPIS.
2. Popp/Myers/Morgan’s Optimus Thomas Morse of Penychen TAF. Another promising 11 month old male of good quality developing along some lovely lines. Square, well made head and dark eye, good muzzle. Excellent bone and well let down chest, straight front and good feet. Moved away well and excelled in profile movement. Presented beautifully.
3. Freshney’s Hyerdunscar Renaissance for Bullenca.

1. Ras’ Mons Claudius Chili Pepper. 14 month old male, not as appealing in head as my previous class winners. Good bone and nicely proportioned. Nicely angulated front and rear but tail a little short and I would have preferred a tighter front, showed some good movement in profile.
2. Johns’ Coulbymoor Major Tom. Male of 14 months who I felt lacked bone. Good head with dark eye and kind expresssion. Would have preferred a better depth of chest, even at this stage, but he looked well in outline and produced some good movement both going away and in profile.

1. Porter/Bowser’s Araucaria Sambucus Nigeria (AI). Soundly made dog of 23 months. Appealing head with strong muzzle, would just prefer a little less wrinkle. Strong bone and nice in outline, powerful and well muscled shoulders. Nicely angulated all through, he moved well in all directions.
2. Reader/Bown’s Constantine Luiz at Sundabish. Fawn dog 18 months and of good type. Appealing head with lovely expression. Nicely balanced all through with good angulation and sound top-line. Tended to throw his front when moving at speed, Bullmastiffs should move purposefully. A steady temperament and a pleasing example.
3. Amor’s Keepersguard Ragnar’s Wrath.

1. Gendler’s Yakee Tigers Eye. Fawn male 2 years of nice quality. Squarely built masculine head with lovely expression, well set ears and strong muzzle. Good bone and straight front. Lovely outline standing and moving with steady top-line. Sound moving in all directions, presented well.
2. Bown’s Sundabish Roman. Not as well off for bone as 1. However, a soundly made 20 month male with good shoulders and outline. Deep chest and level top-line, he moved out well in all directions, another who just tended to throw his front when moving too fast. Nicely handled and presented.
3. Cox’ Colom Orlaf.

1. Davies’ Ch. Hyerdunscar On A Mission with Coulbymoor JW. For me, this male of 6 years ticked all the boxes for a Bullmastiff. Powerfully made all through but balanced and stood like a true professional. Gorgeous, appealing head, well let down chest and excellent in outline, powerful shoulders and correctly muscled all through, good feet and excellent bone. He moved around the ring with purposeful and correct movement. Delighted to see him win G2 in a strong working group and also be awarded BIS in the breed championship show that followed my judging, BD, BOB & WG2.
2. Myers/Morgan’s Optimus Danzy Jones JW (AI). Another quality male of nearly 3 years, nothing to dislike about this young man. Beautifully made and correctly muscled. Lovely square head with appealing expression. Excellent in front with good chest. Correct bone, good feet and lovely proportions all through. Good angulation front and rear. A lovely outline moving and standing and turned out to perfection, RBD.
3. Warren’s Angel’s Phoenix Dylan Dog of Copperfield.

1. Beal’s Emsuart Aphrodite. Smart bitch of 2 years with good head and expression, feminine. Good bone and feet but would have preferred a slightly straighter front. 2. Hillery’s Okuma Tennessee Walker. Fawn bitch of 2 years with good head and expression. Good depth of chest with strong bone and good feet. Well made shoulders and sound top-line, she presented a nice outline on the stand and moving, presented in clean and well muscled condition.

1. Trim’s Pleats Osha The Wildling at Roycepride. Balanced fawn bitch of 4 years of good quality, appealing, expressive head with correct proportions. Good bone and depth of chest. Looked pleasing in outline and moved well enough in profile, would have preferred a tidier stride when moving away. Presented in fit and well muscled condition.
2. Mangat’s Araucaria Rosa Acicularis (AI) JCh. This bitch of nearly 2 years was quite unsettled on the move. Pleasing head and expression, she looked well in outline, good depth of chest and sound construction. Good shoulders and steady top-line. When she settled into her stride, she showed some promising movement.
3. Reader/Bown’s Sundabish Belle of the Ball.
