A huge thank you to the Committee of Southern Counties for inviting me to officiate at this show. Despite all the challenges they faced the show ran to perfection in what can best be described as a new era of our hobby.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable day - the quality of the dogs was high throughout. My thanks to my lovely stewards who ran the ring like clockwork and also to all exhibitors for bringing your dogs forward for my consideration - and the very sporting way that my decisions were received.

1st TRULLALUSA NOVEMBER MOON FROM MIZANI NAF (MR & MRS A FERGUSON) 7 months old. Very well balanced with the correct outline for the breed. Good head shape and eye colour. Short neck with correct width between forelegs. As the standard dictates his height proportions from ground to elbow and elbow to wither are spot on. Well ribbed back with short loin. Strong hindquarters. Excellent bone. Good coat texture. Moved very well. BP

2nd ARCTICBREEZE ON THE PODIUM FOR ATKALUNA (MISS S & MR A O'SULLIVAN & WIGGINS). 10 months. Very well balanced. Excellent head and expression. Moderate length of neck. Correct height dimensions. Little longer cast than winner. Well made hindquarters. Good bone. Excellent coat texture. Moved well.

1st IL GRANAIO DEI MALATESTA FLOCKY (M BENELLI) 18 month. Well balanced and robustly built. Good head shape. Strong in body and well ribbed back with short loin. Well made hindquarters with excellent bone. Good coat texture. When moved at the correct pace he was true fore and aft and showed good profile extension.

1st DARIO DELLA CAVEJA (MR & MRS A FERGUSON). This 2 year old dog is beautifully balanced, has the correct square outline and is robustly built without being coarse. Excellent head and expression. Short, strong neck. Correct width and angulation of forequarters. Well sprung ribcage leading to short loin and powerful hindquarters. Excellent coat texture. Moved well showing good length of stride and drive from the rear. BD & BOB

2nd GAESTEN TOP TINKER ( MR K J & MRS S C TOLLERFIELD). Not quite the overall balance of winner. Pleasing head and expression. Correct length of neck. Slightly longer cast in body. Coat slightly soft. Moved accurately but not the drive of the winner.

1st FULLFORGE FLORAL DANCER (MISS V & MR J WILLIAMS & CARLESS) 8 years old. Good overall balance. Pleasing head and expression. Short neck. Well sprung ribcage. Could be slightly shorter in loin. Well made hindquarters. Excellent coat texture. Good bone. Accurate movement. BV

2nd. GAESTEN BORN TO FRISK OF MIZANI (MR & MRS A FERGUSON) 12 years old and totally belying her years. Square in outline. Good head shape and correct length of neck. Would prefer more length to leg. Well bodied – carrying a little overweight. Good coat. Super bone and feet. Moved with drive.

2nd GAESTEN TATLER'S TEZZA (MR D & MRS A WORRALL). Nicely made with square outline. Excellent head and expression. Moved well good coat. Unfortunately she wouldn’t allow me to go over her sufficiently to assess her further and sadly had to pay the price.

1st ARCTICBREEZE OUTBRAKER (MRS L MORT) 10 months. Good overall balance. Excellent head and expression. Short neck and correct width between front legs. Height proportions are as required. Well sprung ribcage leading to strong hindquarters. Excellent coat texture. Moved well with plenty of drive.

2nd TRUFFALUSA HARVEST MOON FROM MIZANI NAF (MR & MRS A FERGUSON) 7 months. Giving a bit away in age but very well balanced all through. Correct head proportions with good eye colour. Short neck leading to good forehand assembly. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Moved with drive. Coat needs to come on slightly.

3rd MIKETTE WINTER SOLSTICE ( MR M & MISS L BLUNDEN & BLUNDEN)

1st ALL ABOUT STAR SIGI TOLO FOR GAMEGLOW (MRS L COOPER) 17 month. Very well balanced. Good head proportions and eye colour. Correct neck. Well ribbed back. Strong, well muscled hindquarters. Good bone all through. Moved well with ground covering stride. Excellent coat and condition. Best Junior.

2nd MIKETTE HOW FAR I'LL GO TO CLAMERKIN (MRS J DRAKE)14 months. Excellent overall balance. Head correctly proportioned. short neck. Good forehand assembly. Well ribbed back. Strong hindquarters. Good coat texture. Not as settled on the move as the winner.

Moved with accuracy and drive. BB.

2nd MIZANI DIORA ROSE (MR A J GRANTHAM). Well balanced with square outline. Correct head proportions. Short neck. Slightly wider in front than I would prefer. Good spring of rib leading to short loin and well made hindquarters. Good coat texture. Moved well but not drive of winner.

Well made forequarters. Excellent spring of rib leading to short loin and strong hindquarters. Coat of the correct texture. Moved well on good length of stride. RBB
