33rd Breed Championship Show 21.11.2021

Thankyou to the officers and committee for inviting me to judge the Memorial Stakes classes at this show. Thankyou to the exhibitors for their entries and presenting a quality group of setters, I enjoyed the experience very much.

SUNTOP MEMORIAL AWARD (Yearling Dog or Bitch) (12,4)

1. 77 Wood’s Juldeane Prime Suspect. A mature 23-month-old Orange Belton dog, shown in lovely condition. A masculine head with dark eye, good reach of neck, flowing into well angulated shoulders. Moved well, balanced and with drive.

2. 66 Tuckers Mariglen Night Wish for Walshaw. An attractive 11-month-old Blue Belton dog. Mature looking for age with a gorgeous well proportioned head, dark eye and appealing expression. Moved happily with lashing tail just not quite as balanced as first.

3. Wale’s Cyanina Golden Rose

SUNTOP MEMORIAL AWARD (Open Dog or Bitch) (15,5)

1. 21 Harris’s Bridgella’s First Edition with Konakakela. A striking Orange Belton dog with a super head and masculine expression. Lovely well proportioned body shape, good spring of rib and good angulation throughout. In great coat and condition, good firm muscle overall with firm second thigh, moved very well with plenty of drive and correct tail carriage. A picture on the move which clinched first place.

2. 51 Schoneville and Derry’s Balvenie Blue Sensation. A Blue Belton dog who pushed number 1 from the outset. At only 2 years old is surprisingly mature. A well proportioned head with good reach of neck, well angulated shoulders and good turn of stifle, shown in lovely condition. Moved happily with just a little less drive than first.

3. 55 Sharples Mariglen Serendipity at Kanietter
