PUPPY 4:0

1 BP, PUPPY GROUP 3

ZAKHANS THE RED LE BARON (D) 11 months Mrs J Rorke

Quality dog. Beautifully sculpted head, muzzle and skull well balanced, with handsome masculinity. Has a well defined stop with expressive eyebrows, lush long ears set nicely back falling down a slightly arched, moderately long neck. Well angulated, strong muscular front leading through to similar through the body to rear. Strong boned and sound throughout. Moved very well, happily and effortlessly. At 11 months still has plenty of time to mature into himself.

2 QUENSHA FAMILY PORTRAIT FOR TELERI (B) 8 months Mrs P Catling

Good angulation front and back, nicely boned and reasonably muscled. The sound quality of body from withers to hind quarters by far outran what was for me, a rather fine head, with less definition than 1. Moved well. At 8 months lots of finishing time.

JUNIOR 1:0

1 EIREAN TIME AFTER THYME (AUS) (D) 16 months Mrs J Stewart

Well turned out, quite mature looking, if heavy, for his 16 months. Beautiful slightly arched moderately long neck running into well shown front angulation. Good length of rib cage to muscular loin, good angulation at rear to match and balance well with the front. For me his head disappointed and did not balance with the weight of his body. Slightly erratic on the move.

POST GRADUATE 4:0

     1 BOB

KERRYFAIR SPECIAL DIAMOND (B) 2 years 2 months Mr D and Mrs J Fox

Well balanced, racy bitch. Has a well-defined head, pretty, soft eyes bearing intelligence and spirit enhanced by a decent stop and expressive eyebrows. Beautifully arched moderately long neck running into a gentle sloping top line. Well sprung ribs to nicely muscled loin, moderate angulation fore and aft delivering overall balance in conformation. Moved easily, stretching out well at the front and driving from behind. Out of coat currently, this bitch’s clear racy outline, balanced and elegant confirmation fronted by an intelligent, pretty head, won the day for me.

2 TELERI HERE COMES SUMMER (B) 3 years 8 months Mrs P Catling

Elegant, gently sloping line from top of slightly arched neck flowing to well angulated rear. Sound ribcage through to nicely muscled, slightly arched loin. Front shoulder construction not as strong as the rear. A racy bitch, for me the muzzle was very fine with the head lacking in definition and expression at the stop and eyebrow compared with 1.

OPEN 2:1

1 RBOB

CATALUNA MAY QUEEN AT ZAKHAN (B) 4 years 9 months Mrs J Rorke

An effortless mover, this bitch is of sound quality throughout. Moderately long neck with a slight arch leads down to a gentle slope in top line to slightly arched well-muscled, strong loin. Ribcage of correct spring and length, the angulation and soundness of front construction stood out for me, balancing well with similar rear. Strong boned and well balanced overall.

Close call for BOB but today preferred racy elegance of BOB.

2 CLOONMANNA CASSIA (B) 3 years 3 months Mrs S Kourea

A lovely moderately long slightly arched neck holding a proportionate, soft, handsome head with defined skull. Front angulation good, well sprung rib cage to slightly arched loin and well-muscled rear. Movement uncertain and erratic today.
