Many thanks to the committee for their invitation to judge & for their great welcome and hospitality, at this well run open show.

P (5, 1a) 1. Becks’ Denmarella Everyday The Sun. I loved everything about this 9 month old, golden boy. The best of balance and construction. Beautiful head and excellent black pigment with a kind eye and the softest of expressions. Excellent reach of neck with well placed shoulders, plenty of fore chest, super quarters and correct top line. He gave his handler a hard time on the move but, eventually settled and moved out well. He is so well made all the way through, I could not deny him BOB and BP – thrilled to see him go PG3 2. Douglas & McGuffies’ Milltimber My Girl Just a baby at just over six months, this pale bitch really caught my eye. Sweet feminine expression with good pigment, clean through the neck and shoulders leading to good bone and feet. Correct body proportions and such a positive mover. Everything is there, waiting in the wings. Will watch her progress with interest 3. Barron & Jenkins’ Rannaleroch Cotton reel.

J (2) 1. Dickson’s Tonara Penny Lane At Glynafton. I have judged this mid gold girl as a pup and she is maturing beautifully. Such a feminine head, with a lovely dark eye. Very good flow of neck into a level topline which was held on the move. Well angulated front and rear with excellent bend of stifle. She floated around the ring, it was a real pleasure to watch her move. 2. Kevan’s Moloko Wallace the Brave. Very promising, 12 month old, dark gold dog. Masculine head with the kindest of expressions. Strong and muscular neck, set well onto level top line and level tail set. Good depth to body, good bone, neat pasterns both fore and aft, tight cat like feet. Just preferred the movement of one today. However he upped his game in the next class, in which he was awarded first place, and I was so pleased to hear, gave him his last point for his JW. Well done!

PG (6,3a) 1. Kevan’s Moloko Wallace The Brave 2. Douglas & McGuffies’ Milltimber Moonriver. Four year old dog, with lovely head and expression. Straight front, good upper arm and well laid shoulders. Level topline well held on the move with level tail carriage pushed by strong quarters with good second thigh. 3. Beck’s Happier De Ria Vela

O (5,2a) 1. Burrows & Frenchs’ Dilworthy William’s Prince JW. Four year old, all male, cream boy with the gentlest of expressions, presented in super coat and condition. I liked his head with pleasing expression, really good reach of neck, with straight front, good in shoulder placement and nice tight feet. He has a level top line flowing through to a correct tail set, with a well made rear assembly. Very much at one with his handler.2. Douglas & McGuffies’ Miltimber Island Mist. This seven year old boy really does not look his age. Shapely head with kind, dark eye, and friendly expression. Short-coupled, deep through the heart, well angulated with forelegs set under his body and well bent stifles. Moved straight and true. Just preferred the overall balance of one today. 3. Williams’ Kiss Me Knot
