Puppy 4,1

1. Alexander’s Offordale Nijinski, Dog. Nicely balanced. Impressive head of correct proportions, good for neck, well laid back shoulders. Well sprung ribs. Secure back line. Movement looked very impressive in profile, just needs to settle behind. BP

2. Page’s Bleize De Montjuic At Winflash (Imp USA), This 10 month old dog is very different in type and touch larger in statue but a lot to like. Well angulated and moved very well. Close call here but just preferred the demeanour of 1.

3. O’Connor’s Doodledally Nancy Drew AM Dalseren

Junior 7, 2

1. Page’s Winflash Lulu Guiness, Bitch. Extremely attractive youngster of great size and balance. Ultra-feminine head which was well proportioned. Balanced body, elbows close in. Clean, clear spotting. Well-muscled which proved purposeful movement.

2. Sampson’s Dalstorm Golden Guinea. 12 month old dog. Appealing head, developing nicely. Excellent for neck, tail set and croup. OK topline. Moved well.

3. Page’s Winflash Salsusa A Milliion Dreams At Winflash

Post Graduate 8,3

1. Williams’s Tolkain Storm King From Phadante JW. 18 month old appealing male of an attractive size. Super for body, topline and feet. Well spotted, moved well in profile, just to firm up behind. Excellent tail set.

2. Green & Sears’s Alphadal Aint Misbehaving At Judally JW. 23 month old brown dog with a lovely head. Super for neck, shoulders and overall angulations. Moved with style and purpose. Just a touch longer cast than 1 but nevertheless splitting hairs here.

3. O’Connor’s Doodledally Nancy Drew AM Dalseren

1. Page’s Ch Winflash Prada Candy Kiss. Sadly, this 4 year old bitch stood alone but gave a stunning performance. Feminine and elegant throughout with a beautiful head. Presents a balanced outline which just screams quality. Her excellent bone, substance and condition was demonstrated in her accurate, effortless gait which simply could go all day. BOB with no hesitation and G3 amongst stiff competition.

Puppy 5

1. Seffer’s Catrelma Sir Bronson, Dark Brindle male approaching 12 months. I sensed I had judged him before although uncertain as was with a totally different handler. He once again, he performed impressively. I liked his head qualities enhanced by dark, round, appealing eyes well set. Broad muzzle and correct finish. Large bat shaped ears. Strong forequarters with sturdy straight front legs, good for chest and brisket. Strong loins. Tail well set and visible. Gentle roach to topline. Strong rear angulations. Moved superbly. BPIB & BOB

2. Pleasance’s Quizizz Masuria Miracle At Katakia, this 6 ½ month old was giving away a lot in maturity to 1. Another with impressive head qualities, lovely ears. Well bodied and I liked his overall balance. Correct topline, moved and showed well.

2. Gough’s Katakia Walter Kiss Me Quick. Fawn/blk mask. 13 months with an already ‘all male’ square head. Great for ears. Clear bright well shaped eyes, nicely padded muzzle. Open nostrils. Clean front straight front and neat tidy feet. A touch more body will finish the picture. Moved steadily, holding correct topline.

2. Goddard’s Kianspuchi Norma Jean. Fawn bitch. Sturdy and well balanced. I admired her head qualities. Proves a good shape when standing. On the moved she appeared somewhat disinterested which was a pity. A lot to like here.

3. Gough’s Katakia Walter Kiss Me Quick

1. Timms’s Eastonite Mauji JW ShCM. 2 ½ year old Dog. Larger type. He makes his prescence known by a confident attitude. Masculine head with a kind eyes and a lovely finish. Uses his well-placed large ears to advantage. Good for neck, well laid shoulders and deep chest. Well cut up, gentle roach to topline that was held well but would prefer him a touch shorter coupled. Excellent mover.

2. Pleasance’s Katakia Take A Chance On Me. This cobby Pied has a very appealing head with super eyes. He uses his ears well. Corect muzzle, nostrils and finish. Clean arched neck above well laid shoulders, sturdy straight front legs. Well sprung ribs strong short loin; muscular rear. I really thought he was my class winner he but just could not get to grips with moving on the shiny floor surface.

1. Snell’s Sonduriya Kumari This young girl is certainly an real eye catcher, beautifully balanced square shaped head, dark expressive eyes, smallish well placed ears of good shape portraying alertness. Balanced throughout with a short back. Good for neck. Correct angulations – clean front, neat feet, well-muscled thighs and sturdy short hocks. Impressive accurate mover. Well handled. BP & BOB & PG3 in excellent company. I learnt later that she was already won 2 RCC’s and I am not surprised.

2. Ikhlaq & Moscicka’s Hulk The Half Blood Prince. 8 months old. Evenly marked and in good coat. Neat front assembly with legs set well, compact round shaped feet. Correct topline but perhaps a touch longer in loin. Strong thighs. Moved well.

1. Dearn’s Roxxilu Kiss Me I’m Cute. A very attractive feminine junior produces an imposing outline so she cannot go unnoticed. Impressive head with good depth of flews. Good mouth. Correctly shaped dark eyes, well set ears. Shoulders well placed, elbows tight in. Super neck. Well sprung ribs and nicely angulated hindquarters. Extremely promising. RBOB

2. Cassidy’s Roterr Griff Bismarck At Chinaskys (Imp RUS). Another youngster at 14 months. Lovely size and shape. Appealing expression from well-placed eyes and finish of muzzle. OK ears. Adequate neck. Moved OK.

3. Snell’s Sonduriya Dewi Sant

1. Dearn’s Ch Roxxilu Here Comes Trouble. Another impressive bitch, 17 months. Good for shape and size with correct topline with that gentle curve to set of tail. Adequate length of neck. OK for chest Great angulations. Beautiful head, well-shaped with super eyes giving a soft, alert but in the challenge I preferred the expression of Kiss Me Cute. Elegant confident mover and another of champion quality.

2. Scipio & Lighfoot’s Taravon Shooting Star. Impressive square head, well placed ears and expressive eyes. Good for forequarters, neck and shoulders. Not the rear movement of 1. Presented in super coat and body condition.

1. Aston & Bowen’s Glamglow’s Mr Perfect. A very smart youngster, alert and attentive. Super for eye expression and pigmentation. Lovely ears well set. Sports an abundant coat, which at 7 months, is of correct texture. Secure topline, high set tail. Excellent mover with impressive rear drive and propulsion. Should have an exciting future ahead. Post Graduate 3

1. Turner’s Mayumi’s The One And Only. Head well balanced and moderately broad, defined stop and good pigmentation. Body proportions are correct and produced a pleasing outline. Perhaps at 15 months coat is on the change. Moved very well.

2. Pittock’s Anlemar Thumbalina Of Cheechako. A very happy showgirl. Produced steady movement. Well put together. Chest broad and deep. Secure backline, high set tail. Just preferred head balance of 1.

3. Aston& Bowen’s Glamglow’s Precious Gem

1. Bambridge’s Tartico Singapore Sling JW. Pleasing type and impressive to handle. Well shaped head, muzzle and tapering. Dark pigmentation. Eyes a shade lighter. Neat ears of triangular shape well set on head. Super neck length. Shoulders well laid. Chest broad, ribs well sprung. Loins strong. Parallel hind legs. Correct round well cushioned feet. High set tail. Well-presented coat. Movement was absolutely spot on today. BOB

2. Aston & Bowen’s Glamglow’s Devil In Disguise JW. This was a close call. This very feminine girl is also pleasing for type and size. Impressive head qualities. Presents a lovely outline. Preferred front movement of 1. Super coat and condition.

1. Partner’s Wellingley Won For The New At Onfleek. P/S 10 month. Balanced head, neat ears and dark eye, enough neck, good lay of shoulders. OK for chest. Well ribbed. Harsh textured coat. Moved impressively. BPIB & RBOB

2. Parker & McDonald’s Silversocks Shot In The Dark with Violis. 11 months. Dog. Black. Well set keen dark eyes and good for neck. Would prefer a touch more substance. Moved soundly. Coat of correct texture. Accurate purposeful mover.

Post Graduate 1

1. Day’s Joker Land’s Aristocrat (Imp). This 15 month old dog excels in head qualities being strong but not overdone, powerful muzzle. Eyes dark and oval well set giving an appealing expression. OK for neck. Excellent harsh wiry coat. Moved steadily.

1. Newman & Day’s Risepark Secret Agent. This 16 month old dog screams breed type. A little unsure of himself being new to the show ring but handled superbly by his young charge. Well balanced throughout. Impressive head and lovely proportions, super for neck, shoulders and rear angulations. More to come. BOB

2. Partner’s Deansgate Twinkle Toes At Onfleek. S/P Impressive feminine but strong head, neat high set ears and appealing eyes. Held a secure topline on the move. OK front. Harsh, well presented coat. Close call.

1. Morris’s Ashowai One Moment In Time. 11 months. Great balance in respect to bone and substance, good for neck and lay of shoulders. Feminine head with dark expressive eyes and neat small triangular ears, super width to muzzle. Large nose with deep pigment. Good bite. Straight front. Correct top and under line. Super mover. BOB & BP. Close call in a quality packed Puppy Group and stood PG2 to the eventual BPIS.

2. Lloyd’s Zaralee Swansong With Sharsown (Im IRE). 6 months old, Bitch. Attractive proportions. Very appealing head containing super eyes. Slightly padded muzzle to finish. Moved very well for one so young.

1. Webb’s Chiido Figgy Pudding. This appealing girl is still a youngster. Straight front and of good bone; tidy feet. Strong neck allowing good head carriage. Well ribbed with adequate depth of chest. Correct topline; high set tail. OK for leg length. Strong well-muscled quarters. Good coat texture of lovely colour. Purposeful, vigorous gait.

2. Dawson’s Ch Loupei’s Paco Rabanne At Quinnhalo. Upstanding fairly stocky boy. Extremely harsh textured coat as required. Super head proportions, dark almond eyes, good width to muzzle. Straight legs and tidy feet. Beautifully conditioned. Broad and deep chest, short level back and maintaining correct topline with high set tail. Moved OK.

1. Kitchener’s Michandy Turn Back Time, Poodle (Miniature) Dog. Just love the expression portrayed in those ‘dare devil eyes’ contained within super head ratios finished by an adequate chin. Well-constructed body in top condition. Balanced angulations front and rear. Secure topline. High set tail, carried well. Free effortless mover and he does it all in some style. He won a very exciting Utility Puppy Group and delighted to learn that later in the day was awarded BPIS. A bright future awaits!

2. Hope-Cliffe & Hope-Ellershaw’s Shiomaru Escape To The Stars At Galvikki, Japanese Shiba Inu, 6 months old Dog. Balanced head with good finish, correct bite. Attractive correctly sized and set, dark almond eyes. Tidy well set ears. When standing presents a balanced outline. Sound energetic mover. Very promising.

3. Webb’s Xingbao Summer Inspiration At Chifido, Chow Chow

1. Cherry’s Shanandi Just One Chocolate, Poodle (Miniature), Brown bitch. This youngster is of a lovely size and well balanced throughout. Super body having a deep chest and strong backline. Attractive head of balanced proportions enhanced by correct chiselling. Sound, true mover. I understand this award gave her a JW. Well done!

2. Finch’s Ristine Starry Night, Schipperke, Dog. Super coat qualities. When standing portrays a square, balanced outline. Well-proportioned head nicely finished, attractive eyes and well placed ears. Moved well.

2. Phillips’s Sarina Midnight Magic, Poodle (Standard), Dog. 2 ½ years old. Attractive masculine head of good length. Super eyes giving typical expression. Extremely well bodied. Moved well. Close decision.

3. Asquith’s Never Say Goodbye Lucy’s Secret Of Baarnayotms (Imp CZE), Tibetan Spaniel, D

This was the best class of the day, full of super dogs and a real challenge to separate particularly the first five places. It was not surprising therefore, to learn later that 4 of them were champions and one sitting on 2 CC’s!

1. Wilson’s CH/Ir Ch Chadbower Nevan Henki Mit Clynalwin JW, Schipperke, Dog. Although unaware, I suspected this beautiful dog was probably a champion. An exemplary showman and so professionally handled by his young charge. Excellent head properties, fairly short strong neck and shapely body. In super coat. He moves so freely with certain determination with just gave him the nod in a very competitive class. Best AVNSC & delighted to later award him a well deserved G1.

2. Moore & Nock’s Ch Chadbower Finlay For Blitzstan, Schipperke, Another lovely one. This smart cream, bobtail boy is of a great size has many super breed attributes. Balanced head with typical expression; appealing eyes. Harsh coat and presented in A1 condition. Moved out well.

3. Conway & Oakden’s Fisherbloom Moon River, German Spitz (Mittel)

1. Bradshaw’s Ch Cremefern Sweet Talking Gut JW ShCM, Shih Tzu, Dog. Has lovely head which gives a stunning expression on a nicely arched neck, good forehand with ample bone. Ideal depth and breadth of chest and short coupled. Strong rear angulation. High set tail held perfectly. Looked a picture.

2. Conway & Chapman’s Ch Norcairn Dark Angel JW ShCM. French Bulldog. This 14 year old brindle bitch is quite remarkable. Correct ultra-feminine head. Her dark round eyes have lost none of their charm. Gorgeous bat ears to boot. Beautiful neck, clean front and good cut up. A real show girl. She moved like a youngster.

3. Conway & Oakden’s Macpaws Roxy Rascal (Imp) German Spitz.
