1. Williams & Toublic’s COBHAY FANCY PHLOX Quality, balanced L/W B, lovely head with chiselling & depth of flew, almond-shaped eyes with kind expression, good length of neck, excellent forehand with correct shoulder layback, good depth of chest & spring of rib, short coupled, short hocks, nice rounded feet. Promising movement, particularly in profile, with good tail carriage.

2. Jones’ NINEOAKS CHA CHA L/W B with clean symmetrical outline, pretty head & kind expression, decent length of neck, not quite the forehand of 1 but reasonable layback of shoulders with good return of upper arm, moderate stifles, straight when viewed from front & rear, good short rear pasterns. Moved well.

1. Crouch’s TRIMERE TIMELESS WITH KASSAN 19 mths L/W B with pretty head, good depth of flew, clean neck flowing into pleasing shoulders, good forehand angulation, deep chest, ribbed well back, moderate bend of stifle, low hocks, correct feet, in firm condition, moved freely & tidily.

2. Lucas’ GUNRING MAYBE BABY L/W B appealed for overall outline, balanced head, not as clean in neck as 1 but decent lay of shoulder, well sprung ribs, very deep chest, correct topline rising slightly over loin which is short & strong, good bend of stifle, good bone. Sound mover.

1. Hydon’s CLENTONIAN PANDEMONIUM JW Quality B/W B, looked a picture, excellent balanced outline. Lovely head, almond-shaped eyes, sweet expression, clean neck of good length flows into excellent shoulders, correct upper arms, well set elbows, pleasing spring of rib, strong rear, good stifles, short hocks, neat padded feet. Straight forward-movement from the shoulder, good drive & excellent tail carriage. BOB.

Parr’s ASHRING’S INFATUATION Mature L/W B, symmetrical outline, feminine head with correct stop, kindly expression, excellent strong neck, good shoulders, plenty of depth to chest, well sprung ribs, strong loin, correct slope to tail, broad rear, good stifles. Impressed when she moved, light on her feet, true, with easy forehand reach, drive & lovely tail action. RBOB.

2. Sale’s DRAKETOR DARTMOOR STAR AT CLOUDFALL B with charming personality, attentive to her handler, reasonable layback of shoulders & matching upper arms, ample depth to chest, decent bend of stifle, straight rear pasterns, would prefer a little less weight but moved ok.

Loved his well shaped head with correct fill under good dark brown eyes, intelligent expression, clean neck of good length into excellent shoulders, correct depth of chest with good brisket & length to ribcage, pleasing short loin, good bone, firmly muscled, straight limbs, super feet. Presented in excellent coat. Effortless movement, true away/back & covering the ground with easy strides. BOB & G1.

2. Bowen’s CLANDRIFT MIDNIGHT GALAXY 4 yr B with obviously kindly disposition. Symmetrical outline with good length of leg, pretty moulded head, dark eyes, well made forehand with good shoulders, deep brisket & good ribbing, matching angulation front & rear, sound tidy mover all ways.

2. Lord & Broomfield’s CHILTERNWAY BUKEELA (Weimaraner) Silver grey B with clean balanced outline, feminine head, neck of moderate length, decent shoulders, good level topline. Ribcage extending well back & well sprung for age, short coupled, straight forelimbs strong feet. Liked her on the move, went around with good stride length freely & easily.

Well-shaped head with domed skull & squareness to muzzle, liked his expression, strong neck flowing into good shoulder layback, broad level back, short coupled, good hind angulation, correct bone, lovely round feet. Showed true movement with promising drive though shorter in stride than he could be once settled & on a looser lead. Best AVNSC.

Group 1 Grist’s KASORDON FIRESTARTER (Cocker Spaniel) Very compact Blk D in good coat & condition, caught my eye for his overall compact outline with gentle slope to topline. Loved his head, gently rounded skull, good muzzle with well-shaped dark eye & sweet expression. Well laid-back shoulders, good spring of rib, firm rounded rear end & decent stifles. Good bone & excellent round feet. With ever wagging tail, moved true away/back & around with purpose & drive.

Group 2 Golders’ GEMBAEK’S PLAY THAT FUNKY MUSIC (IMP) NAF TAF (Golden Retriever) Balanced D in good coat, stacked to show pleasing symmetrical outline. Masculine head with soft expression, good layback of shoulder with matching return of upper arm. Well-made quarters with excellent stifles & short rear pasterns. Held his topline as he went around with easy strides & good drive.

Group 3 Rorke’s ZAKHANS THE RED LE BARON (Irish Setter) Eye-catching D with excellent outline & beautiful male head, in super coat & condition, promising mover.
