Lovely to have such good-sized rings especially when it came to the stakes classes. I’d like to thank my two very efficient stewards who kept my ring running smoothly all day. Also to the committee for the thoughtful gift the judges received. 

Belgian Shepherds Tervueren. 

Puppy 2 

9 month old litter mates & not a lot between them, both had nicely chiselled heads with good ear placements, lovely dark masks, good length of neck with good layback of shoulders for their ages, body’s nicely proportioned & well angulated hind quarters, enough bone for age with well-padded feet. 

1st Fletcher, Finnigan & Church’s; Invanse Rewrite The Stars**; Feminine bitch & just felt she was at this stage slightly more settled, which allowed steady free movement, BP. In Group later she was full of confidence & really shone through. Puppy Grp 1 

2nd Fletcher, Finnigan & Church’s; Invanse Its Who Ya Know**; Masculine lad & so similar, but just not quite so settled as his sister but sure they will change places many times. 

Post Grad 5-2 

1st Lewington’s; Corsini Prelude: Feminine little bitch, finely chiselled head of equal planes, dark eyes with good pigmentation to rims, correct bite, strong neck with good shoulder placement, good depth of chest, strong topline which she held all time. Hindquarters well-muscled, enabling her to move effortlessly. Balanced fore & aft. 

2nd Fletcher, Finnigan & Church’s; Invanse Dream On; Really liked this male, nice size & strongly made all through, nicely chiselled head, good ear carriage, dark eyes & strong jaw, moderately arched neck going into well placed shoulders with good depth of chest reaching elbows. Firm back & well-muscled hind quarters, hocks well let down & feet well-padded, very light on feet but didn’t quite have the reach of first. 

3rd Monk’s; Bergeau Forever Starlight; 

Open 5-1 

1st Fletcher, Finnigan & Church’s; Ch Invanse Red Hot ShCM; Have judged this lad before & he seems ageless. Head finely chiselled, with moderate stop, nice eye shape with good pigmented rims, correct bite. Strong neck on well laid shoulders with good depth of chest. Well sprung ribs & strong over loin, well-muscled hindquarters, coat of a rich colouring which was in super condition. Absolutely faultless on move. BOB & Group 3 

2nd Elliott’s; Sulanevaeh Raul Thane; Slightly bigger than first, but balanced, pleasing head & nice arch to neck, shoulders well laid back & chest deep, firm back of good length & well-muscled hindquarters, in good coat, steady mover. 

3rd Fletcher, Finnigan & Church’s; Invanse Sweet Dreams JW;

Post Grad 1 

1st Frost, Frost-Tredwell & Walmsley’s; Trelowen Amelia At Frostisen; Nice wedge-shaped head with good ear placement dark eye. Neck of med length. Short compact body with good rib, hindquarters moderately angled with strong legs & tight feet. Good tail set with nice tight curl. Light easy movement when viewed coming & going. Coat harsh. 

Open 3 

1st Deuchar’s; Rikarlo Gable; Judged this young lad earlier in the year & today he excelled again. Nice broad head with well-placed ears, with enough stop, tight lips with good bite, moderate arch to neck, strong forequarters with nice tight elbows & good depth of chest, straight topline  & firm over hindquarters & slight tuck up, with nice tightly curled tail, feet nice & tight. Steady movement both coming & going away making it look effortless. BOB & Grp 1 

2nd Walmsley’s; Blakk Extacy Van Koekie’s Ranch (Imp NLD); Lovely 7 year old male, masculine in head with darkest eyes that matched his coat, well placed erect ears, muscular neck on well laid shoulders & good depth of chest, elbows close fitting, moderate tuck up & firm in body with nice taught tail set on high, good rear angulations allowed steady movement, just not quite the reach of first. In challenge for RBOB just preferred his eye shape to PG, 

3rd Deuchar’s; Ch/Bel Ch Tonylynn’s Charles Lafitte AW(P)R2EX; 12 year old male, nicely balanced & still has good overall type & muscle tone.

Puppy 5-3 

1st Morley’s; Trijem Brexit Maybe Baby; ASD. Beautiful feminine bitch, who was so together today. Nice head with good breadth to skull & darkest eyes & pigmentation, with nice broad muzzle & good under jaw, nicely arched neck & super shoulders for one so young, chest of good depth & nicely sprung ribs with well-rounded croup, good bend of stifle & firm hocks, coat of good weather proof texture, on move just didn’t put foot wrong very steady. BAVNSC Puppy & Puppy Grp 2 

2nd Hunt’s; Artsam Adored; Samoyed, Very feminine bitch, sweetest expression with lovely dark pigment, neat ears well padded. Neck of good length & well-placed shoulders, chest of good depth & firm back, high set tail that had tight curl over back, well angulated hindquarters allowed steady movement, just not the drive of first. 

Open 11 

1st Pletz-Kazantzis & Busby’s; Ch Foxearth Fandella; Smooth Collie, Steady & confident bitch, good head proportions with correct bite, eyes obliquely set with good ear carriage. Strong muscular neck on well-placed shoulders. Good length of back & depth of chest. Strong & firm over loin with well-muscled hindquarters. Nice coat in good condition. Moved out well at just the right pace by her handler to get best from her. BAVNSC 

2nd Chester’s; Lysdenoire Le Roc JW ShCM; Briard, Very impressive youngster a real showman, good strong head with dark eye correct bite, strong neck on well laid shoulders with good depth of chest & long rib, strong over loin & strongly made hindquarters well-muscled, super rich coloured coat that was of good quality & texture. movement was free & once settled very steady, 

3rd Knott’s; Lyveden Texas Ranger; ASD, 1st in AV Bred By Exh. 

Pastoral Group 

Lovely group for soundness of types for each breed & anyone of them could have swapped, but I thought first the Norwegian Buhund had lovely breed type & moved with effortless strides that just covered ground with ease & super fit. 

1st Deuchar’s; Rikarlo Gable; Norwegian Buhund,  

2nd Salter’s; Irisaddition Effie Trinket JW; Bearded Collie, Lovely strong feminine head with typical melting expression, strong muzzle & good under jaw, black pigment to match coat colour. Moderate length of neck on well-placed shoulders, good ratio of rib length to loin & well-rounded croup, well-angulated hindquarters & hocks well let down, in beautiful coat, moved steady & effortlessly.  

3rd Fletcher, Finnigan & Church’s; Ch Invanse Red Hot ShCM; Bel Shep Tervueren,  

4th Linney’s; Cecil Vom Bruggener Land (Imp DEU) Swedish Vallhund,

1st Fletcher, Finnigan & Church’s; Invanse Rewrite The Stars**; Bel Shep Tervueren, Had had a nice long rest & came in here full of confidence, lovely balanced young bitch. Moved at one with handler. 

2nd Morley’s; Trijem Brexit Maybe Baby; ASD, Lovely balanced bitch & really did push 1st hard & so together, just preferred 1st attitude. 

3rd Yu & Halliday’s; Pascale (Imp DNK) Picardy Sheepdog, 

4th Shahmatova’s; Nashdom Strawberry Fields; Border Collie,

1st Chester’s; Lysdenoire Le Roc JW ShCM; Briard, much more settled here & really showed his effortless ground covering movement which won him this class. 

2nd Williams & Toublic’s; Cobhay Fancy Phlox; Eng Springer Spaniel, nicely balanced bitch both in profile & on move, feminine in every way, beautifully presented & handled.  

3rd Dodd’s; Tanellis Blomin Primrose; Swedish Vallhund, nice sturdy bitch, lovely profile & positive on move, looked capable of doing a days work. Pushed 1st & 2nd hard. 

AV Not Bred By Exhibitor 29 

1st Knott’s; Lyveden Texas Ranger; ASD, Masculine dog, lovely width of skull with good ear placement, dark expressive eyes, neck muscular going into well placed shoulders, chest of good depth with good fore chest, legs parallel front & rear, ribs well sprung & firm back, good rear angulations allowed plenty of reach & drive, in good coat. 

2nd Bull & Warren’s; Ch Zaralee Hussell And Bussell With Starferry ShCM (Imp IRE); Shar Pei, Nicely proportioned bitch, head relatively large, eyes dark & beautifully clear, ears small & neat, neck muscular, chest of good depth & firm body not  over done with wrinkles, muscular hindquarters with nicely bent stifle, firm hocks, very steady on move.  

3rd Adams, Adams & Scales; Fisherbloom Re’Encountered JW; Pointer, well balanced front & rear, lovely in profile, moved with positive ground covering movement.
