Labrador

MP 1 Burroughs’ Annakay Billy Jean 9 month old chocolate female that took it all in her meaningful stride as she came in the ring and continued to show to the last. Correct in forehand with matching quarters allowing a steady and true movement for her age. Holds a good shape moving and static coming to rest four square. BPIB 2 Young’s Potterspiney High Noon 3 Nightingale’s Danryl McQueen Another chocolate this time 6 month old male and although he is lighter than winner he is equally as balanced and sound on the move when settled. Head is coming well for his age. Moderated front and rear angulation. Well schooled. Just needs a bit more time P 1 Burroughs’ Annakay Billy Jean 2 Smith’s Rudidale Lucy Bug 8 month old yellow female that has all the makings to do well as she grows on but today she wasn’t quite as together on the move as winner. Balanced in body proportions all through with correct angles front and rear. 3 Young’s Potterspiney Tickety Boo J 1 Neal’s Amberstope Tullibardine 16 month old yellow female that stole the show today putting in a faultless display to show just how well made she is under her taut body. Strong muscular forehand and corresponding quarters. Ample bone and substance all through without being heavy. Scores well in head clean and proportionate. At one with her handler to complete the picture. BOB 2 Needham’s Danryl Sharish 12 month old black female that took some time to settle but when she did, she showed herself to her full potential covering the ground with a clean even stride. Firm in topline and muscled in quarters. 3 Smith’s Rudidale Jackpot G 1 Bordacs & Glaister’s Rudidale Hidden Secret 2 year old chocolate female that moved the cleaner of the three here today. Moderate angulation front and rear, straight front with ample bone. Enough spring in ribbing. Holds her shape on the move. RBOB 2 Woodall’s Mattand A Million Dreams for Thirlmere 2 ½ year old yellow female lighter in build than winner and not so precise on the move at times. Scores well in head with full dentition and good jawline. Needs a bit more working to get her at her best. It’s there to work with. 3 Milner’s Mattand Goldfinger

PG 1 Bordacs & Glaister’s Rudidale Hidden Secret 2 Young’s Suttonpark Brogue Youthful looking 8 year old chocolate male that is well constructed and sound on the move with a balanced outline but unfortunately now carrying a bit of extra weight, that said he was probably the best muscled exhibit in the breed today so full credit to his owner. 3 Smith’s Rudidale Lady Luck O 1 Smith’s Rudidale Story Teller 3 year old yellow female. Good head to handle strong yet not overdone in any way. Moderate forehand and quarters allowing a steady movement on the day. Firm in topline and muscular in back. Well boned all round. 2 Milner’s Mattand Goldfinger 9 ½ year old yellow female. Strong head without losing her feminine looks. Good length of neck into clean forehand and straight front. Moves at a steady and controlled pace. 3 Young’s Potterspiney Killian

GSP

P 1 Trow & Jowsey’s Winterwell Stony Trail 11 month old female full of breed type and super sound on the move for her age. Clean well proportioned head with good jaw line and well set ears. Well angulated front and rear giving her a balanced outline and the freedom and fluency in movement. BP 2 Merrit’s Sperant Pamplemousse Slightly younger at 10 months this female has the framework to build on with time and maturity to do well. Good head to handle strong yet feminine. Ample spring of rib for age. Holds her shape on the move at all times. 3 Beresford’s Tuptonsett Summer Love J 1 Merrit’s Sperant Pamplemousse 2 Barker’s Valger Rapunzel at Barkersdream JW 18 month old female. Scores well in head with clean plains and strong jawline. Moderate fore and aft angles allowing a steady movement but not as positive or precise as winner on the day.3 Staley’s Jomeel Naughtylicious PG 1 Staley’s Jomeel Now I’m Here 14 month old female full of promise and potential given her build here today. Supper headpiece to handle. Well put together in front with balanced quarters letting her use the ring to show off her ability. One with a bright future as she matures on. BOB 2 Barkers Radstorm Legal Eagle at Barkersdream JW 2 ½ year old strongly built female without being too overdone in any way. Well let down in chest and sprung in ribbing. Steady on the move with clean footfall. 3 Webster’s Kishiko Maiden Morgan Le Fey O 1 Beresford’s Tuptonsett Ebony Princess Hard to believe this female is now entering her 11th year as she is super fit and controlled on the move thanks to her well put together framework and body toning. Clean head plains. Ample spring of rib and depth of chest, topline remains firm at all times. She is a credit to her owner for keeping her in such great conditioning. RBOB 2 Staley’s Jomeel Midnight Rambler 3 year old male that for me was on the larger side and didn’t have the clean lines and balance in outline as winner. Well muscled in body and balanced in frame but not so precise or tidy when it comes to moving.

Beagle

P 1 Bridgeman & Logue’s Kellitcreed Dirty Diana Promising 6 month old female that could do well as she matures on judging by her performance today. Good headpiece, dark eyes well set ears and strong jaws. Well muscled neck into clean well placed shoulders and straight limbs with ample bone and tight feet. Well ribbed up for her age, firm in topline and strong in quarters. All put together to produce a sound efficient movement. BOB & BPIB J 1 Bridgeman & Logue’s Mustafar Felicity at Hughdi 10 month old female that has many of the attributes of her kennel mate but today she had her naughty head on and gave her patient handler a hard time on the move. When she did settle and stride out she showed her framework off well with clean full strides. Unfortunately she was bouncier than she perhaps should have been but she is young and enjoyed the day. She has the framework to work with just needs time. PG 1 Bridgeman & Logue’s Mustafar Felicity at Hughdi

O 1 Lovatt’s Bjornhagen Sweet Bayleaf JW Sh.CM 3 year old male. Good head shape with well set ears and dark eyes. Moderate angulation front and rear. Well let down in chest and sprung in ribbing. Taut in quarters. Would benefit from a tad more bone and substance.

Border Terrier

P 1 Tuffin’s Southash Lavender Blue at Oatberry Promising 10 month old female with super framework and head for her age and size. Correct spannable ribbing firm in back and strong in topline. Well toned in body thick pelt and harsh jacket. Covers the ground with the easiest of strides from any angle. One for the future from todays showing. BP 2 Taylor’s Nottorg Name Of The Game Another well made young female this time just 7 months and like winner she has the ingredients to do well as she matures on. Proportionate head and body easily spanned. Coat could be a tad harder but sure this would be age related. Clean on the move. 3 Hollingsbee’s Otterwood Silhouette J 1 Matthews’ Tojamatt Ann Branreth 13 month old female at that “in between” stage in her development but that said she is ideally made and proportioned. Correct in ribbing strong topline and muscular quarters. Moves out and back well. PG 1 Reeve’s Winters Blackthorn Strong 2 year old male that has everything just where it needs to be in terms of angulation. Strong proportionate head. Super forehand with matching quarters allowing such an effortless movement he would easily keep up all day given his body toning. Topped with a harsh jacket and thick pelt. BOB 2 Tuffin’s Hartswelin Veritas with Oatberry 20 month old male that again is well built in framework under his hard jacket. Good head to handle strong yet in no way overdone. Correct front and rear angulation allowing his seemingly effortless movement. Just needs a bit more time. 3 Sneddon’s Glen Mara Oh Viedo at Kersfell JW O 1 Hollingsbee’s Otterwood Diodem JW 2 year old female of good breed type and sound as they come on the move. Scores well in head with strength and femininity combined. Easily spanned in chest, firm in back and strong in quarters. Presented in hard jacket and thickness in pelt. RBOB 2 Metcalf’s Dandyhow Friendly Fire at Chevinor Sh.CM 6 year old male of good breed type in body and framework I just preferred the cleaner head of winner on the day. Well let down in chest and spannable in ribbing. Steady and controlled on the move when settled. 3 Sutton’s Bordergold Rudolph at Beckholm

BIS Lancashire & O’Donnell’s Drishaun Fair As A Lily JW [Afghan Hound] 20 month old male that looks good from any angle and doesn’t disappoint when you get your hands on him under his plush jacket that is groomed to perfection. Super headpiece noble and confident in looks. Strong well muscled forehand that is mirrored ideally in his quarters. On the move he simply flows in complete unison with his handler to complete the picture. RBIS Harrison’s Millpoint Soundwave JW [Pointer] Another youngster this time an 18 month old female. Strong well developed head without losing her feminine appeal or look. Well placed shoulders and straight front supported by the best of feet. Used the ring to her advantage to show how well made she is. Well toned all round. BPIS Gee’s Watercroft Stolen Moment [Norfolk Terrier] Super prospects for this 9 month old female judging by todays showing. Scores well in head with appealing dark eyes and well set ears. Tad loose in front at the moment but she has the framework under her harsh jacket to build on and as she matures on, she is destined for higher things for sure. At one with her handler at all times. RBPIS Allan’s Prince Snow Allmark du Bois des Ternes [White Swiss Shepherd] Another exciting youngster that is on the way to the top if carries on in his development as he is. Strong all male in head without being overdone in any way. Sturdily built in forehand with matching quarters giving him balance and the ability to cover the ground with maximum effect. Unfortunately, today he seemed to be distracted at times from elsewhere but his young handler did enough with him to secure this place. BVIS Vorrias’ CH Surfstone Coolio for Windgunn [GSD] Gave this male his crowning ticket and BOB 6 years ago and today again he didn’t disappoint and seems to get better with age like a fine wine. Good head to handle being strong and powerful with clan lines all through. Well muscled in front assembly and corresponding in quarters allowing the freedom and fluency displayed despite approaching his 8th birthday. Holds his topline solid both static and in motion. Comes to rest four square with minimal fuss from his owner. Presented in full clean jacket.
