Irish Water Spaniel

Post Grad

Roberts Tsar of Dee

19months and attending only his second show. Pleasing in outline and balance. Masculine head. Strong neck and well made front assembly. Ribs springing well and firm in topline. Needs a little more practice and confidence for both dog and handler, however they are doing a good job so far. Best of Breed.

Golden Retriever

Puppy (5:3)

1st Barron & Jenkins Rannaleroch Cotton Reel

Litter brother and sister here and at the moment the bitch is cleaner in outline and has a better neck and front assembly. Feminine in head and expression. Topline level and she has a good spring of rib. Would like a little more length of leg to complete the balance, but she has plenty of time for this. Positive action on the move. Best Puppy.

2nd Barron & Jenkins Rannaleroch Cotton Spinney

Appealing head with dark eye and gentle expression. Pleasing in outline and liked his height to length ratio. Strong bone and good body proportions, stifles well bent and in good coat. Moved ok, however in the small ring he couldn’t get into his stride as well as his sister.

Junior (5:4)

1st Ayling-Jones’ Pajula’s Santa Baby By Raiveslake

Feminine and attractive bitch who was beautifully presented today. Pleasing head with dark eye and soft expression. Clean neck and good lay of shoulder, would like a shade more return of forearm. Well ribbed back and firm through the loin. Stifles well bent. Moved well in profile, a little close behind.

Post Graduate (4:2)

1st Harvey’s Ramchaine Glorious for Shebelta

Feminine with substance and clean in outline. Pleasing head with dark eye and soft expression. Good reach of neck and shoulders well back with enough return of forearm. Well ribbed, a shade long through the loin. Level topline and well set tail. Quarters developed and used well on the move. Covered the ground well in profile.

2nd Cartlich’s Rosadora Lamish Dream

21 month old bitch with a feminine head, would like eyes a little darker for my taste. Good neck and shoulder, well ribbed, carrying a little weight today. Level topline and firm loin. Good quarters and stifles well bent. Happy mover who covered the ground once settled.

Limit (5:4)

1st Burrows Dilworthey Princess Lottie

4year old bitch with a pleasing head of good proportions, would prefer a slightly darker eye for my taste. Good neck and front assembly, well ribbed but carrying too much weight and therefore dropping her topline. Well bent stifles and standing on good legs and feet. Moved covering the ground and true out and back.

Open (7:3)

1st Vicars’ Illeyhall Una at Peersbrook

This bitch looked very well today, won the class on her clean and balanced outline and overall type. Feminine in head and expression, clean through the neck and shoulder, a shade upright but balanced throughout. Topline firm and maintained throughout, good through the rib and loin and liked her height to length ratio. Quarters developed and her movement was true and ground covering. Best of Breed and pleased to hear she went BIS3, well done.

2nd Burrows and French’s Dilworthey Williams Prince JW

Masculine without being overdone, pleasing head which was well proportioned. Enough reach of neck and lay of shoulder, would like a little more return of forearm. Good spring of rib and correctly proportioned loin, topline could be firmer. Quarters developed and good bend to the stifle. Moved true and covered the ground.
