I would like to thank the Club for inviting me to judge and give thanks to the exhibitors who entered their dogs. It was a pleasure to be able to go over some lovely dogs today.

1. Govier’s Goviz Autumnal Glow

Well balanced overall. Nice feminine head. Nice reach of neck falling into well placed shoulders. Good spring of ribs. Nice forefront, good rear angulation, moved well.

Post Graduate Dog or Bitch 1:1

1. Rollings & Verity’s Vizslanya Szellem Es Sors

Nice balanced overall appearance. Lovely proportioned head with a noble expression. Good reach of neck, with good muscle tone. Good layback of shoulder, nice depth of chest. Good coat. Nice feet. Good front and rear angulation. Moved well with good reach and drive.

1. Hardcastle & Bradley’s Vizslanya Sziena JW

Lovely outline and colour on this bitch, very elegant, took my eye. Nice feminine head, correct eye colour. Good strong muscular neck with good length falling into well laid back shoulders. Tight elbows and good front angulation. Good spring of ribs and depth of chest. Lovely tight feet. Rear angulation good with a nice sweep of stifle. Good muscle tone overall. Excellent coat. Moved well with obvious drive and held topline. BOB

2. Bradley’s SH CH Vizslanya Vivmany By Highforce JW ShCEx

Another well proportioned Bitch with a lovely outline, it was a difficult choice between this girl and the class winner. I preferred the movement on the day of number one. Nice head with a soft expression and a nice dark eye. Good muscular slightly arched neck falling into well placed shoulders. Nice front construction with well placed elbows and a good depth of chest. Nice spring of rib, strong back and good rear construction with nothing over exaggerated. Moved well.

Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla

Puppy Dog or Bitch 1:1

1. Byrne’s Enryb Simply Red

A pleasing 7mth old dog with good overall balance and proportions. Well off for bone adding to his strong appearance. A masculine head, broad nose, correct shape eye and good ear set, with an appealing gentle expression. Strong muscular neck with shoulders laid back, good front angulation with well placed elbows. Lovely depth of chest and nice spring of rib for his age. Rear angulation good with strong muscle tone. Good harsh coat. Moved well and held his topline on the move, excelled in profile movement with true reach and drive. (BOB, BPIB)

1. Coxhead’s Zoldmali Lipton At Brecalde (Imp Hun)

Nice soft expression on this young dog, well sprung ribs with good length. Tidy feet. Well ribbed with a good depth of chest. Good coat with harsh texture. Moved out well.

Open Dog or Bitch 4:2

2. Hibbert’s Ewtor Skyfall At Mindszenty

Powerful in appearance with a strong, masculine evenly proportioned head. Nice expression. Good forefront and depth of chest. Unsettled on the move today.

This young bitch is a nice example of the breed but still to mature on in body and tone. Lovely feminine head, good in proportion with a soft expression, good eye shape and correct ear set. Good length of neck falling into well placed shoulders. Good bone and nice front and rear angulation. Well presented and moved well holding her topline on the move. (BOB)
