Cheltenham And District Canine Society 23/02/20

May I start by saying thank you to the club for having me for this appointment a very big thank you to my 2 stewards in the ring Beverly and Chris who were 5 star stewards keeping the ring in full swing and well run throughout the day. A much appreciated thank you to all the exhibitors who entered under me, took their placings with grace and showed such good sportsmanship for one another.

Puppy (3/1abs)

1st Righton F Mrs Zephrelli Raphaella female of 8 months old, Fawn and white in colour with beautiful markings very clean smooth coat. Nicely outlined, beautiful large eyes placed in a nice head piece fairly flat and narrow, good bite for age, ears soft and held back. Slight arch to neck flowing down the back with a slight rise over the loin, fine tail carried low. Movement a little unsettled but good enough to assess fairly straight with a nice hackney step in front. Pleased to award her Best Puppy In Breed

2nd Mack H Mrs Black Baraka Private Confidence Of The Queen Smaller than 1 but still a beautiful outline when viewed. Female of 12 months old black in colour with a nice shine to her coat. Feminine in head narrow long with slight stop. Nice bright eyes, lean cheeks, ears placed back on head with soft texture. Neck arched, slender in body with good rise over loin. Movement fair nice hackney straight in legs with hare feet.

1st Walton Ms Minitopo Maat Feminine girl of 2 years old. Blue in colour nice head piece flat and narrow skull, large bright eyes, ears placed well back. Nicely outlined dainty in structure, good movement coming and going once settled straight in front strong boned and well muscled in rear. Tail carried low. Reserve Best Of Breed

2nd Taylor D Mr And M Mrs Freith Corylus Masculine male 3 and half years old. Fawn in colour slightly bigger in structure but a lovely outline on view. Happy boy, nice in head flat And narrow beautiful large bright eyes ears placed back on skull. Good slight stop excellent bite. Narrow but deep in chest well laid shoulders strong front straight in legs with true hare feet. Nice on view from rear well muscled. Held tail low through out.

1st Taylor D Mr And M Mrs Mostahbull Lucky Lexus masculine male 6 years old nice head flat narrow and long with strong jaw bright eyes and ears placed well back on to skull. well matured boy Red in colour soft and glossy in coat. Excellent movement both coming and going. Beautiful outline well bodied deep and narrow in chest shoulders well laid into body strong bone hare like feet rear well muscled with hocks let down well. Stood out for me today and happy to award him Best Of Breed. Super pleased to later hear this boy also took Toy Group 2 under group judge Mr George Farmer.

1st Taylor M Mr Bringiton Ming Moon at Taysace JW Fawn female of 15 months old. Super feminine girl with beautiful rounded head, soft button ears, eyes large dark full of excitement. Open nostrils on blunt short muzzle. Strong in neck nicely arched leading to a level back body short, tail set high with curl. Nice strong movement both coming and going forceful rear action with drive, in front again strong steady straight with feet placed forward. This girl stood out for me and was pleased to award her Best Of Breed. Delighted to later hear she took Toy Group 3 under group judge Mr George Farmer

1st Collins L Miss Pugistie Just Peachy beautiful 16 month old girl. Fawn in colour, fine smooth coat. Feminine expression rounded in head ears placed nicely against head. Expressive in eye good in mouth. Short cobby in body good legs strong bone straight in front deep chest rear moved out well with push, level topline with high set curly tail.

2nd Stuart And Ward D Mrs and E Mrs Nina Von Termel Mopsco (imp mne) Another fawn female 16 months old of excellent outline presented very well short in body level in back with tail set high. Rounded in head bright alert eyes short in muzzle feminine expression. Slight arch to neck strong straight front deep chest giving straight movement rear strong well muscled with good push. Very attentive to handler.

1st Edwards S Miss Rhodenash Livin A Dream feminine fawn female well structured girl good outline rounded in head true head piece eyes bright and alert. Deep in chest nicely arched neck on to a level topline high set tail with curl. Well muscled female well laid shoulders straight in leg feet rounded with split up toes. Good mover pushing from the rear and straight front action.

2nd Taylor M Mr Fawn female of just 3 years old feminine girl a smaller head piece but still can appreciate her beauty. Soft coat well bodied short and cobby. Nicely arched neck level in back with tail held high with good curl. Pretty in head eyes bright and alert short in muzzle nicely laid shoulders strong and straight in front. Well sprung in rib slightly rounded in body. Forceful push from the rear keeping straight in movement.

Green K Miss Jaschin First Edition Beautiful dainty girl of Just 6 months old. Black and white in colour with typical markings. Small lively girl full of her own self without a care in the world. Beautiful feminine head ears small set high on head with nice feathering. Eyes very expressive dark showing slight white in corners. Nicely arched neck carried well level back tail carried up and over feathering coming nicely. Still a baby but movement was noted well. Straight in front fine boned down to small hare like feet. Fair in body compact on a small scale. In rear again straight in rear action with feathering coming nice. Handled expertly well by this young lady pleased to award her Best Puppy In Breed and was a joy to hear this little pup took Toy Puppy Group 1 under Group judge and Breed Specialist Mr George Farmer.

1st Wallhead J Mrs Merida Marianna Female of 13 months old wow this girl really caught my eye. Small dainty feminine girl. Black and white in colour well marked all over. Beautiful head piece well cushioned muzzle open nostrils eyes alert rounded forward facing with slight white in corners. Ears soft small nicely feathered set high on head. Excellent movement throughout straight in front slender fine boned in legs rear straight with good stride action. Tail held up and over a nicely level back. Feathered nicely on legs tail and chest. Body square and compact. She just gave good ring presence and i decided she was my Best Of Breed today again i was thrilled to hear this girl took Toy Group 4 Under Group Judge and Breed Specialist Mr George Farmer.

2nd Green K Miss Jaschin New Chapter female litter sister to best puppy just 6 months old black and white in colour well coated for age. Beautiful in head well marked nice cushioning to muzzle eyes bright and alert. Ears held well tail held up and over well feathered all round. In my opinion she is up to size compared to her sister but still a beautiful girl. Strong in legs well boned she was handled very well by the young man although she was happier doing her own thing with a look at me attitude was a real joy to see the puppies having fun.

Wallhead J Mrs Merida Masquerade Delightful feminine female of 2 years old. Red and white in colour beautifully coated nicely marked all round. Broad in skull with high set ears carried forward and feathered. Well cushioned muzzle nose self coloured with wide open nostrils. Nicely arched to neck level topline tail well feathered carried high over back. Square compact body wide in chest straight legs of fine bone nicely feathered. Rear again nicely feathered fine boned but strong with good rear drive.

Paradise A Mr Shardlow Knickerboka Glory SHCM

Female Black and white in colour this girl is 7 years old and does not show it. Beautifully presented clean coat well marked. True head piece being broad with high placed ears held slightly forward of soft silky feathering. Large dark expressive eyes showing slight white to corners. Well cushioned muzzle good pigment all round nose wide and open nostrils. Deep in chest with good feathering level back high set tail held nicely throughout. Good in rear movement straight in front fine boned but strong stride out compact body well coated girl. Truly deserving of her placing and pleased to give her Reserve Best Of Breed.

2nd Wallhead J Mrs Sleepyhollow Lester At Merida SHCM masculine male 3 years old. Large head piece with beautiful expressive dark eyes typical whites to corners. Ears set high and used throughout well cushioned muzzle wide open nostrils with dark pigment throughout. In my opinion a larger boy but very well presented. Well coated profuse silky texture. Strong boned straight in front wide in chest. Level in back with beautiful tail held over back with good feathering. Rear in good movement well made in body covered with super glossy hair, typical hare like feet.
