HOUNDS NSC – P (7,2a) 1 Locke’s Lauralee Air Force One, Smooth Dachshund dog 6 months old quality boy who moved so well & true for age, lovely keel & good hindquarters with good strong hocks, held a strong topline & carried his tail correctly, still a baby but you couldn’t mistake his sex for he has a masculine head & expression with a good attitude to the showring already. BP & PG4; 2 Cramphorn’s Yelxba Bonnie, pretty Irish Wolfhound bitch who is of a good size & outline, lovely type who moved so well on well boned legs & feet, she is balanced & just right for age, good neck & shoulders, showed well; 3 Sutton’s Kindeace Texas Tornado at Damai. J (4,2) 1 Jay JP Sea Bird El Panjsher, cream Saluki boy I have liked before as a puppy & I was very pleased with his progress, moved a dream with good head carriage & holding his topline & well set & carried tail, he is balanced & quality with an excellent coat put down in lovely condition. BOB & G2; 2 Williams’ Dovestream Tilly, Smooth Dachshund bitch who unfortunately came up again such a cracking male today, but unsettled today which showed in not holding her topline on the move or set up, of a good size & in good coat & condition, pretty head with well set ears & a good neck. PG (7,2) 1 Parker’s Kiromol As You Like It with Azuli, beautiful Ridgeback bitch from the top drawer, so very feminine in outlook & so balanced, she is of a good size with a good ridge & good topline & well set tail, loved her head & expression with well carried ears, lovely neck & shoulders, loved her type & quality; 2 Valentine’s Amlida Tamora to Tiffwazz, Smooth Dachshund bitch of good body proportions, feminine head & expression, strong topline & lovely keel, moved well on good legs & feet, showed well here to win her place; 3 Moulding’s Nykarth Perfect Moment. O (8,4) 1 Boydell’s Nightwind You Can’t Stop The Beat, well made Afghan male I have liked before & am pleased with his progress, in full coat, he is balanced with a masculine head & expression, good neck & shoulders, good topline & well set ring tail, moved well in such a small ring & showed well to win here. RBOB; 2 Walker’s Dexidax Whistling Dixie, Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund bitch, she is stubborn but charming with it, she made me smile with her attitude when she was moving towards me, feminine head & expression, good neck & keel, in good coat of the correct texture, lovely hindquarters with strong hocks & good pasterns, she is balanced & a lovely type & size; 3 Nicholls’ Ch Ngang’s It’s One Heck Of A Storm. AV HOUND – V (9,3) 1 Eardley’s Ryazan Perdita of Hillohawks, beautifully presented Borzoi bitch of 8, excellent head of good proportions with a lovely expression for well set eyes & ears, good neck & shoulders, correct topline held correctly set up & on the move, well set tail with excellent hindquarters, moved so well on well boned legs & feet, she is balanced & quality. Best Veteran Hound; 2 Bird’s Blandings Florentine, brindle Whippet bitch who is balanced & a lovely type, well boned legs & feet, such a feminine head & expression, held a lovely topline with well muscled hindquarters; 3 Broad’s Neertanauf Sea Magic. BEAGLES – J (3) 1 Hills’ Donay Belle, balanced bitch who just got better as the day went on & she got more confident, of a good size & just right for age, feminine head & expression, when she stood free you could see her potential, holding a good topline & correctly set tail, in good coat & when she settled she moved so well. BP & BOB; 2 Banks’ Forgebanks Raindrop, prefer the balance of 1 & this young lady wanted to go to see her littler sister, she is a nice type with a pretty head & expression, good neck & shoulders, nice depth of chest coming & when she settled, moved well. RBOB. 2 & 3 were very close up & both very similar in development; 3 Banks & Bootes’ Forgebanks Roksana. PG (2) 1,2 repeat. O (2,1) 1 Banks’ Forgebanks Queen Victoria, dam of the two puppies & she has produced 2 nice youngsters, good topline & well set tail, carried correctly, good head & expression, good depth of chest, well boned legs & feet, moved with ease & confidence round the ring, alone but an interesting bitch to go over. Beaten by her daughter for RBOB. IMPORTED REGISTER – J (6,4) 1 Milham’s About A Girl The Winter Souls to Shadowshack, White Swiss Shepherd Dog, bitch who was a very sound mover, nice type who was in good coat feminine head & expression, good neck & forequarters, good topline & well set tail, excellent hindquarters with strong hocks & correct pasterns. RBOB; 2 Wright’s Amico Antico Moan Chan, Mexican Hairless of 11 months, only recently into the country & still a bit unsettled both on the move & set up, he just needs to learn his trade & I know he will do well for he is a good example of the breed with a masculine head & expression with well set & carried ears, good neck & shoulders, he is balanced & of a good size, moved well. BP. O (5,1) 1 Kaye, Byrne & Barclay’s Bryanelly Woody among Nizzana, Portuguese Pointer dog, he was the best mover on the day in the class, I was very impressed to see how well he has come on, he is well bodied with the classic breed head with correct eye placement & shape & well set & carried ears, good neck & shoulders, good topline, strong loin & well set & carried tail, lovely hindquarters, lovely type. BOB; 2 Wright’s Sand Man, Mexican Hairless dog who wasn’t hairless but is perfectly acceptable for his coat was short with no undercoat which is perfectly permissable! Moved like a train & thoroughly enjoyed his time in the ring, masculine head & expression & eventually used his ears to advantage, good body proportions; 3 Sladden’s Khyannes Triton at Canemamans. HOUND GROUP: 1 Shepherd’s Citycroft Sundae with Oxana, quality Whippet boy who is balanced & so masculine, of a good size & outline, moved so well on well boned legs & feet, masculine head & expression with a good neck & forequarters, correct topline & well set & carried tail, in excellent coat & condition with well muscled hindquarters, a pleasure to go over; G2, the Saluki, Jay JP Sea Bird El Panjsher; G3 Pearmain & Sherwood’s Delandmar Greta Garbo, beautiful headed Miniature Smooth-Haired Dachshund bitch, put down in excellent coat & condition with a strong topline held on the move & set up, good neck & forequarters with a good keel, moved so well in profile to win her place; G4 McCarthy’s Nagshall Love Constantly, Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund bitch, another nice one with a feminine head & expression, put down in excellent coat & condition, good body proportions with a good keel & nice ribcage, showed & moved well. HOUND PUPPY GROUP: 1 Wilton-C lark’s Shalfleet Toy Story, very mature Whippet boy of 7 months, he is quality with an excellent balanced head & a good expression with well set & carried ears, lovely neck & shoulders, good depth of chest & a strong loin, well muscled hindquarters with good topline & well set tail, moved a dream to win here; PG2 Hills’ Donay Belle, Beagle; PG3 McCarthy’s Nagshall Dutch Odyssey, another good Miniature Long-Haired Dachshund boy from this kennel, again with a lovely head & expression, good neck & shoulders, strong topline & well set tail, again put down in excellent coat & condition; PG4 Locke’s Lauralee Air Force One, Smooth-Haired Dachshund.
