Southampton & District Canine Association Limited Show 5th January 2020

I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge the main classes at their limited show and to the exhibitors and stewards for making me feel so welcome and at ease. 

I had a really enjoyable day and really quality dogs to go over.

BIS - TRIMERE TIMELESS WITH KASSAN – English Springer Spaniel Bitch that caught my eye as soon she entered the ring. Impressive outline. Beautiful head. Well bodied with great angulation. Well let down hocks. Excellent bone with lovely muscle tone. Effortless movement. She owned the ring.

RBIS - BOLORIA'S MISS DIOR – Striking Wire-haired Dachshund Bitch. Beautifully balanced with a shapely body. Feminine head. Good neck leading to a lovely topline that she maintained on the move. Great mover. I would have just liked a little bit more coat on the day, but that definitely didn't detract from the quality of this bitch.

BPIS - BRIAR ROSE FOR RINGLAND – Beautiful tri Papillon Bitch full of balance and ring presence. Quality head with expressive eyes. Good depth of chest with good rib. Slopping shoulders. Level topline. Lovely angulation. Effortless movement with lots of charisma. She demands attention.

RBPIS - ARCHIDAX DARK PHOENIX - Min Wire-haired Dachshund Bitch with a lovely outline. Beautiful head. Well constructed front. Lovely topline that she maintained on the move. Confident mover. In lovely coat and condition.

BVIS - MILLOLA IGGLE PIGGLE – Stylish Flat Coated Retriever Bitch with lovely elegant outline. Beautiful feminine head. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Good depth and width of rib. Level topline. Good hindquarters. Moved at ease covering ground.

2nd BELLEVUE TAKE A CHANCE WITH KARAGEM – Cobby West Highland White Terrier Bitch with eye catching expression. Lovely head. Strong bone. Moved well maintaining a good topline and tailset. In lovely condition.

3rd GLENTOPS NAUGHT BUT NICE - Airedale Terrier Bitch

2nd WYEAFON PERCIVAL – Well balanced Australian Terrier Dog. Good expression with well placed ears. Flat skull. Good ratio of skull to muzzle. Good topline. Moved well.

2nd TANCURELO CUSTARD CREAM - Whippet Bitch with nice head and expression. Nice front. Good depth of body. Good outline. Preferred the movement of the winner.

3rd BRAMALODGE BABOOSHKA AT DRAKKINA - Wire-haired Dachshund Bitch

1st BOLORIA'S MISS DIOR - Best AVNSC Hound, RBIS

2nd WEINACHT LARCH AT DRAKKINA JW – Another beautiful Wire-haired Dachshund. Dog with nice outline. Nice shoulder. Good neck into level topline. In supper coat. Just preferred the rear movement of the class winner.

3rd THELEPEES PEENYBLACK SILK - Min Long-haired Dachshund Bitch

1st COBYCO COVER QUEEN – Quality Whippet Bitch with a beautiful outline. Great curves. Beautiful feminine head. Clean front and good neck.Well angulated moving well. Great muscle tone.

2nd BOLORIA'S ARAMIS – Another Wire-haired Dachshund with a beautiful head. Masculine Dog. Very similar remarks to the winner of special yearling. Just not as mature yet.

Moved well and steady although I felt she needed more space to make the most of herself on the move – Reserve Best AVNSC Hound

2nd BOLORIA'S TIGER LILY – Nicely shaped Wire-haired Dachshund Bitch. Good front. Nice topline. Just preferred the profile of the winner of the class on the move.

2nd ZARALEE I'M STILL STANDING AT STARFERRY (IMP IRE) - Shar Pei Dog presenting a square outline. Well proportioned head with small ears. Nicely boned. Well bodied for age. Confident puppy.

2nd SNOANDA HELLO DOLLY - Tibetan Terrier Bitch with a nice outline. Nice head although preferred the head of the winner. Good topline that she maintained on the move.
