Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge this friendly and well run show despite the prevailing weather conditions outside. Thank you to all exhibitors who made the journey and for your great sportsmanship.

1st BP & PG 1 Walden’s Truly yours clear Magic For Taramount (imp) 

Very smart active 11 month old  youngster, very lively on the move with a great temperament and ring presence. Lovely head with kind dark eyes, straight topline with tail well set on. Parallel movement both fore and aft moving with drive and purpose. Showed right through to the end of the day hence its final group placing.

1ST Walden’s Taramount Wot Dream May Come Sh.CM 

5 year old male in fit hard condition, super moving dog moving from strong hindquarters, good masculine head with dark eyes and mind expression, good reach of neck and strong topline held well on the move, well-made throughout and presented beautifully. Shortlisted in the group and pushed hard for a final place.

1st Green and Brains Cachel Pop the question to Melonaras 

Well balanced with a beautiful head, good dark eye with a kind expression, moving well from strong hindquarters, good neck, level topline and good tailset. 

2nd Meakers Kalispell Calamity Jane at Meakwood 

Another lovely balanced youngster just preferring the head and eye of the winner, in super coat and condition, well-made throughout and moving well with purpose and drive.

1st  Parkhouses Shivani Summer breeze 

Very pretty feminine bitch with a melting expression, moving sound and true, just tends to roach over the croup, in beautiful coat and condition. 

2ND Cashel Ask For Me at Kernowlowena 

Lovely head and eye, energetic and lively, slightly longer cast than 1 and preferred the movement of the winner, in good condition and well handled.

1st and BOB  Parkhouses Sandlavga Magic Spell for Shivani 

Smaller type of dog, with a typical head and dark eye, he excelled on the move, moving with drive and purpose, holding a good topline, in super coat and condition, lovely straight legs, adequate bone for size, compact body, good tailset.  

2nd Pearns Fonesse Fingibson in Gwbert JW Sh.cm SnCEx 

Well balanced dog with good body properties, strong topline and tailset, very sound mover both fore and aft, just preferring the head and eye of the winner. 

English Springer Spaniel

Good head with the correct length and stop. Upstanding young dog good topline and tailset, excellent feet, well bodied, good length of neck into well laid back shoulders, just needing to tighten in movement.

Beautifully presented male, well made in super coat and condition, typical head with a good dark eye and kind expression,  Good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders and good upper arm , level topline ,moving soundly although a little close behind  

2nd Holmans Roqfolly Endeavour at Artycreath 

A more workman like type of dog, excellent bone and feet, short body, correct size and balance, lovely head and kind expression, also moving soundly but a little close behind, just preferring the tailset of the winner.

Well balanced throughout , sound moving  moderately sized dog, well boned, good  round feet, correct body proportions. Well chiselled head with muzzle of medium length. Good shoulders and upper arm, well let down hocks. 

2nd & BP Blackfords Amblelight Porcia 

Quality young bitch who had lovely flowing lines, moving well when settled , lovely type , feminine head and good dark eyes, good reach of neck,  into well laid back shoulders, good topline and tailset.

Very happy outgoing dog moving with drive and purpose from strong hindquarters, lovely head and eye, well boned and good feet,  good reach of neck into adequate shoulders ,good depth of body, excellent topline and tailset which he held well on the move,  

2nd Attwoods Ir Sh Ch Kylowen Drym Sh CM 

A lovely type of dog in beautiful coat and condition, correct size, good head and eye, excellent bone, depth of chest and good body properties. On the day just preferring the movement and drive of the winner.

Lovely feminine head and the darkest of eyes, not overdone in any way, well constructed throughout, quality bone, good feet, good depth through the ribcage, excellent topline and tailset, moving well with drive. 

2nd  Lampersberger Benoveor Field of Dreams to Kurzeja 

Another well balanced bitch, well constructed with good proportions through the body, well angulated hindquarters, lovely feminine head , dark eyes and a kind expression, just preferring the movement of 1 on the day.

Lovely dark colour,  sound mover with the correct gait moving parallel both fore and aft. Good head and kind expression, good bone, well laid back shoulders, held topline on the move, well handled. Just lacking in coat and feathering today.

Handsome dog with excellent shoulders and upper arm, good size, well boned, good head and dark eyes with a soft expression, moving sound and true. 

2nd Recces Magic Du Kreizker at Broomeece 

Feminine bitch, nicely balanced throughout, would prefer a little more width all through, well handled, moving sound and true.

Dog of good size and balance , lovely wedge shaped head, alert expression, good shoulders and upper arm, driving well from strong hindquarters.  Looked at his best on the move. 

2nd Hipkiss’s Redaurora Comets Christmas of Deltandamba 

 Very Pretty bitch, slightly smaller in stature, good head and eye colour, everything in balance, just preferring the movement and drive of the winner.

Eye catching young dog, nicely marked, very active standing and moving. Lovely wedge shaped head, good eye shape with a cheeky expression, good bone and feet, well laid back shoulders and good upper arm, well angulated hindquarters moving well with that typical jaunty gait. 

2nd Wards Flushpoint Whata Aristocrat ar Melanitta 

At 10 years old this is a credit to its owner, lovely type of dog, moving sound and true, lovely head and eye, super front construction.

Lovey pair of super type, just preferring the hind angulation of  1. Noble head and good dark eye with a kind expression, good bone and substance throughout,  correct length and body proportions, moving sound and true with the correct gait. 

2nd Moores Scodinzolare Perla D’oro 

Quality bitch, lovely head and expression, quality bone,  good body properties, moving well with correct gait, just lacks a little confidence in the ring.

Another quality puppy, shows super reach and drive for one so young, correct head, good dark eye and melting expression, very active on the move and moved well when settled, excellent bone and feet, lovely reach of neck,  good topline, well angulated hindquarters.

Stunning dog who moved with reach and drive, correct gait and tail action, covered the ground with ease from super hindquarters. Excellent bone, straight legs and  standing on good feet, long muscular neck, good shoulders and upper arm, good depth of chest ,Handsome masculine head with a well defined stop, a good dark eye and kind expression. 

2nd Needhams Whealbetsy Eisie 

Quality bitch at 9 and half years old, lovely type, very pretty feminine head with a well defined stop dark eye and kind expression, Excellent bone and feet,  moving sound and true , just giving way to the freedom of movement of the winner, A credit to her owner.

Quality bitch , super sound movement, lovely head  with a flat skull and good eye colour, good bone, good length of neck leading into well laid shoulders and good upper arm, good depth of chest and well sprung ribs, well angulated hindquarters, held her topline on the move. 

2nd Phillips Rivertone Head Above Water 

Just over 12 months old eye catching youngster, excellent bone and feet, long head  with an alert expression, very sound on the move and moved with drive, a shade longer cast than 1 and preferred the overall balance of the winner.

Eye catching youngster,  very sound mover, upstanding young dog, driving well from good strong hindquarters, lovely head  with a naughty expression.

Eye catching bitch when stood, lovely balanced proportions, excellent bone and feet, good head with a kind eye and expression, just preferring the movement of the winner.

Well made labrador with good shoulders and upper arm, excellent bone and feet, super topline held well on the move, good strong hindquarters and a good thick tail. Good head, broad in skull with correct placement of good dark eyes and the correct expression.

Welsh Springer of the correct size and type, moved out well for her age, moving sound and true, lovely feminine head and good dark eye,  well constructed front with a pronounced forechest. In super coat and condition pleased to see she went reserve best veteran in show.

Strong group, difficult decision and in the end was splitting hairs between the shortlisted dogs for the final placings. Well done to everyone. 

1ST Condrons Covarney Macaroon Sh.CM 

Irish setter of beautiful type and quality,  in tip top condition.  Loved his head and expression. Excellent bone and feet,  well made throughout ,  long reach of neck, clean line presented a free flowing appearance, soundly moving and in profile showed reach and  an easy stride. 

2ND  Osmans  Fleurfield Firethorn at Marrissolo ShCEx- Pointer 

3RD Bawdens Goldsand Rock and Roll at Darthill 

Golden retriever who has a lovely head and type without being overdone or coarse, good bone, good layback of shoulders and good upper arm, of the correct height to length ratio, strong hind quarters which he used to advantage. 

4th Hughes Listerio Aperol Spritz – Hungarian Vizsla

Some very promising puppies , a very long day for all of them the winner just having the spark at the end of the day, and moved with such verve and drive.
