Thank you to the committee and exhibitors who were so welcoming, it is a really friendly show with a super atmosphere. 

 

Bedlington Terriers 

Puppy  

1st Jones Miteymidgets Little Hottie, lovely bitch she has a sweet expression good narrow shaped head, nice dark eye and good mouth with well-set ears. Good length of neck into correctly placed shoulders, flat ribbed with chest developing nicely. Good front and well arched topline, good tuck up, well set tail and moved very well. Reserve Best of Breed 

2nd Sharnor Lady Lobelia At Ystwythbay, another nice baby, nicely shaped head with dark eye and neat ears and good mouth. Body developing well, with a good topline. Movement not quite as settled as 1. 

Junior 

1st Jones Miteymidgets Little Hottie, see puppy 

2nd Smith & Print’s Tcheria Anton Tchekhov, more mature dog than however I preferred the overall structure of the puppy. Good head, dark eye and good mouth. Nice length of neck into ok shoulders, good tuck up and flat rib. Well-muscled and moved well.

Open 

1st Bannister’s Miteymidgets Tiewie, what a difficult class however this baby is quite special, beautiful shaped narrow head which is strong deep, good mouth with big teeth, lovely dark eye with give her a super gentle expression, with well-set ears. Good reach of neck into a flat sloping shoulders and the best of fronts. Nice flat rib, correct topline and tuck up leading into a well developing hindquarters, correct tail set, good strength in hock which allowed her to move like a dream around the ring. Best Puppy and Best of Breed.  

2nd Middlebrook’s Tcheria Tcharleston, what a handsome dog his gent is, today however he was not inclined to move particularly well. Masculine but not course in any fashion, strong narrow head, with a great bite and a lovely dark eye and neat ears. Good length of neck into a good front and well placed shoulders, nice flat rib and ample tuck up and correct topline. Ample muscle and in fit condition.

Bull Terrier 

Puppy  

1st Thomas Afanbull Irish Clover, lovely bitch, she has a head which is beginning to fill and develop well, corretly placed ears, nice small dark eye. Body developing well, well placed shoulders with a good front and neat feet. Rib and chest coming along nicely, good topline and hind quarters. Good tail set needs to settle on the move as she was a little erratic. She is a real baby and as she settles I’m sure she will get better and better. 

Junior 

1st Potter’s Topfuel Wild Fire, what a pup! He is a power house, well developed head which is strong, he has good sweeping profile and is not overdone in anyway. Wicked dark eye and correctly placed ears and strong jaw. Good length of neck which is powerful, well placed shoulders and a straight front into neat feet. Well-developed deep chest with good round bone, correct length in back and rib, good bend of stifle and well-muscled hind quarters and correct tail set. Moved well, pushed hard for Best of Breed. Will watch this dog’s future with interest. Reserve Best of Breed and Best Puppy. 

2nd Afanbull Irish Clover, as above 

Open 

1st Harper’s Olympusbulys Thoren Luck, wow another fabulous dog, bull terriers should shout power and strength and this dog does this. I put my hands on his dog he solid, fit and in the best of conditions. He has the best of heads, a great sweeping profile, which is well filled and a wicked dark eye. Correctly placed ears, he has a good strong neck into good shoulders and a straight powerful front and neat feet. Great topline, forechest and rib, good bend of stifle and hind quarters are strong, excellent tail set. He moved so well around the ring. This dog won on overall maturity. Best of Breed 

 

Miniature Bull Terrier 

Puppy 

1st Battel’s Bulltherre Celeste, what a cheeky madam, so sweet, nicely developing head, ears well placed ears with dark small eye. Good length in neck, into well placed shoulders and developing fore chest, straight front and neat feet. Ample rib with sufficient depth, okay bend of stifle and hind quarters coming along nicely. Moved well holding her topline. Best Puppy 

2nd Harrison’s Jenkir Hera, what a shame the lovely girl would not move on the day, she is a quality bitch with a super head with plenty of fill and the darkess of eye. Very balanced, compact and has a good overall appearance. 

 

Junior 

1st Harper’s Aedestaurum Fancy Dress At Olympusbulys, Lovely alert bitch, nice head with correct ears placement and dark eye giving a lovely expression. Good length and strength in her neck, leading to good shoulder placement, ample fore chest, straight front and nice neat feet. Deep chest and sufficient rib, correct topline and tail set which was held on the move. Excellent movement and in good condition. Reserve Best of Breed.  

 

Post graduate 

1st Wilson’s Duvessa Sheer Khan, aka Ted, My critique says “Ted, we all love Ted”, he is a character. He is a masculine dog with power and strength. He has a lovely head, beautiful dark eye and is always on his toes. I would prefer a little more of him. He has a good fore chest and depth in rib and is short in the back. Moves with drive and has a good tail set.  

 

Open  

1st Harper’s Chattanooba Choo Choo, beautifully balanced dog who has a ring presence which is hard to ignore but why would you want to, he has a masculine profile which has plenty of fill, a lovely dark eye and super ears which he uses well. Good length in neck which is strong and leads into excellently placed shoulders and a correct straight front and neat feet. Well-developed fore chest, good spring of rib and short back. Strength and balanced throughout in hard fit condition, moved with drive and purpose holding a good topline and tail set. Best of Breed 

2nd Harrison’s Jenkir Kallisto, lovely feminine bitch who has a good head, dark eye and neat ears. Ok length in neck, straight front and neat feet, sufficient fore chest. Correct shoulder placement, ample rib and nice short back, good hindquarters. Would have prefered her to be slightly fitter. Moved well and handled well.
