Many thanks to Carol and the Committee for the invitation to Judge at this well run , busy show. A big thank you to my steward Babs, single handed, had everything and everyone so organised. Not forgetting my entry, being so sporting and enjoying the day. 

BEARDED COLLIE 

Puppy D/B (4,3) 

1st. Curry & Pepper’s MEGAMAREE HOT STUFF WITH DAVANKIRK. 9mth old feminine bitch good proportions to head, broad flat skull. Correct stop and large dark eye. Clean bite, good pigmentation. Ear placed well. Well laid shoulders. Correct bone and body development for age. Coat of correct texture, tail set low and carried correctly. This youngster just needs more confidence to bloom. BPIB 

Jnr D/B (3,0) 

1st. Atkins & Charles’ SNIKKLES SWASHBUCKLER. This young dog just out of puppy is unmistakably male. Broad flat skull, square in appearance, good width to muzzle, large dark eye soft in expression but alert to everything. Clean mouth, good pigment. Strong neck set on well laid shoulders. Straight in front with good depth of chest. Well bodied for age and good length of rib, strong throughout. Tail set low and carried correctly. Correct coat for age. Held level top line on the move. Strong in movement. 

2nd. Woods. PEPPERJAY BARTHOLOMEW Another just out of puppy. Good clean head of good proportions. Correct eye, clean bite and pigment. This youngster had good bone and well ribbed. Of correct balance body length and height. Well coated and tail set well . Moved ok. 

Post Grad D/B (2,0) 

1st. Canty’s BARGEMON MELBA JW. 2 ½ yr old bitch very feminine. Super shape to head, good proportions with correct amount of stop. Large dark eye with the softest expression. Correct bite dark pigmentation. Medium ear set correctly .Medium length neck held proudly set on well laid shoulders. Good overall width to body, ribs well sprung . Straight front and chest of good depth. Back of good length ,strong in loin and well-muscled 1st and second thigh. Tail set on well and carried correctly. In good coat well turned out. Moved with ease holding a level top line. A pleasure to go over. BB & BOB. 

2nd. Curry’s MEGAMAREE LAVENDER N’LACE FOR DAVANKIRK.1 ½  bitch . good head  with correct stop and large eye and good pigment. Ears set well. Body maturing well. Level top line. Moved a little close behind. 

Open D/B (2,0) 

1st. Atkins & Charles’s MEMORYLANE DO THE TRA-LA-LAA AT SNIKKLES JW (IMP FIN) This boy is nearly 3 yrs old and maturing nicely. Very masculine with a good strong jaw line, broad flat skull with good stop. Eyes big and dark. Good width of muzzle and clean bite. Ears set well. Good strong neck and well laid shoulders. Good depth to chest and correct bone on a straight front. Long well ribbed body and strong in loin. Well-muscled rear end with good angulation. Level top line and low set long tail carried correctly on the move. Coat in A1 condition. Covered the ground with ease. RBOB 

2nd. Curry’s DAVANKIRK BROMLEY MAIN. 5 ½ yr male. Head of good proportions . good eye ,clean bite, dark pigment. A little short in neck spoiling his overall balance. Moved ok but giving his handler a difficult round, more interested in the girls today.

Puppy D/B (5,1) 

1st. Hulford’s LUNALAH MR HAPPY This 11mth old brown boy really appealed to me. He had good substance and bone, His head was of correct proportion and definately masculine. Eyes round and set well apart, good stop and furrow. Clean bite and dark pigmentation. Large nostrils. Strong neck and good width to withers. Shoulders well laid and straight in front. Good width to chest for age. Well-developed rib and firm loin. Nicely angulated and muscled on the rear, which gave a level top line on the move, tail set and carried correctly. True movement. BPIB 

2nd. Dring’s YELSEKFOR THE LOVE OF. 11mth old black boy. Head of good proportions, slightly narrower in muzzle. Lovely dark eye, clean bite. Nice short neck, well laid shoulders. Well covered body for age and in good coat. Tail set well. I just preferred movement and substance of 1. 

Junior D/B (5,3)  

1st. Smith’s GEMSON ALFAMAR OF OLDEELY. This black lad is just over a year old, had a nice head with a broad skull and width to muzzle tapering to large open nostrils. Good stop and dark round eye. Short neck set on to well laid shoulders, good width to withers and chest and enough bone. Body was well constructed and firm. Hind quarters well angulated and well-muscled. Tail set correctly, moved well when he got his thoughts together. 

2nd. Sugden’s HUSIVERSEN TWINKLEBERRY. 10mth black bitch. This pretty little girl is very femine. A very dark round eye with nice expression. Clean bite and good Pigment. Overall correct balance in body shape, well angulated. Trained to perfection and moved well. I didn’t like her coat texture today. 

Post Grad D/B (5,3) 

1st. Johns’. AQUAFORTIS SERENDIPITY AT GEMSON (IMP NOR) IR JNR CH. This 21mth brown boy has changed so much since I last seen him in the ring. His head broad and muzzle of good width and strength to Jaw. Correct eye and clean bite. Strong short neck set into well laid shoulders. Well-developed chest and straight in front, well up on pasterns. Rib well sprung, and firm short loin. Good angulation and super muscle tone. Tail thick at base, set well and carried correctly. Not in full jacket but in good condition. Moved well behind and flowed round the ring. BOB. 

2nd. Green’s GRANDWAYS RIVER RAMBLER BY GEMSON. 2yr old black boy of smaller stature. Correct head, dark eye and clean bite. Nicely put together, showing in good coat. Well angulated. Needed to display more confidence in the ring today. 

Open D/B (7,2) 

1st. Dring’s CH YELSEK THE ONE AND ONLY. 2 ½ yr old boy with masculine head of good proportions. Muzzle tapering in. Clean bite and good pigment. Dark round eye. Good width to withers and chest. Straight in front. Well sprung rib, a little well covered. Strong in loin. Tail correctly set. Angulation good. He may have had his mind elsewhere as I have seen him move better. RBOB 

2nd . Mardle’s AULDHELM BIZZY LIZZIE. 3 ½ yr old brown bitch of nice type. Broad skull and correct muzzle, good eye and clean bite and pigment. Short neck into good width in shoulder. Well ribbed and balanced in body. Angulation good and moved well with a solid top line . 

FINNISH LAPPHUND 

Puppy D/B (1,0) 

1st. Lloyds’s ARIANRHOD AJATTARA. 6mth old very pretty cream girl. Relatively broad skull with good stop, muzzle tapering to dark pigmented nose and lips. Clean bite. Very dark eye completing a sweet expression. Body and bone good for age, well covered. Good chest and parallel front. Back suitably broad sloping to a well-set tail carried happily up and over. Good angulation and hocks well let down. Coat coming through nicely. Moved straight. BPIB 

Junior D/B (1,0) 

1st. Smith’s RAJARANI CHRISTMAS ROSE. 17mth old bitch. Broad skull defined stop, dark oval eye, neat ears broad at base and set well apart. Clean bite. Moderate neck set on good shoulders. Straight front, body well covered and carrying good coat. Unsettled on back end movement today. 

Post Grad D/B (6,1) 

1st. Sisley-Smith’s TABANYARUU QTAMO ONNI RL1EX. 3yr old male. Very masculine head, broad and of correct proportions. Nice eye giving soft expression. Clean bite. Strong neck leading to good width of withers and back. Moderate lay of shoulder down to parallel front of good bone. Good depth to chest and well sprung rib. Short in loin. High set tail & sporting a profuse jacket of correct texture. Rear end well-muscled and angulation good. Moved well. RBOB. 

2nd. Clarke-Griffiths LUMIKOIRA MAITOSUKLAA AT LUMENICO. 3yr old boy, broad skull, neat ears set well apart. Muzzle strong, clean bite, correct pigmentation, nice oval eye. Overall a well-covered firm body of good bone, sporting a nice coat in good condition. Angulations good, well-muscled but moved a little close behind. 

Open D/B (7,2) 

1st Clark-Griffiths’ OBERITZTROLLNISSE AT LUMENICO. This 6yr old mature male commanded the ring today. Broad skull, neat wide set ears, strong square jaw with clean bite. Dark oval eye, soft but attentive. Strong neck set on good strong withers. All angulation was good, parallel front and good depth to chest. Well ribbed and broad strong loin.  Tail set and carried well. Profuse coat. A very balanced dog, held topline and moved freely. BOB 

2nd.Treasures INFINDIGO RIEMU EMMI ShCM. Lovely mature girl of 8yrs. Broad correct head, dark eye, neat wide set ears, clean bite. A firmly built bitch with good bone and construction. Good depth to chest and correct angulations. Tail set correct and in good coat. Flowed round the ring. 

SPANIEL (ENGLISH SPRINGER) 

Post Grad D/B (2,1) 

1st.  Crouchs TRIMERE TIMELESS WITH KASSAN. 22mth old bitch with feminine head of good proportions. Well chiselled cheeks and nice width to muzzle and jaw. Clean bite. Elegant length of neck set on well laid shoulders. Good depth of chest and straight in front with neat feet. Well sprung ribs, moderate loin. Rear angulation good but would have preferred more muscle. Nicely balanced bitch, a pity she stood alone today. BOB
