A lovely start to the new year – thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge and to exhibitors for the opportunity to go over their lovely dogs and receiving decisions with such sportsmanship. A special thank you to my steward whose efficient organisation was outstanding. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day at a very well-run show!

Graduate 4.,0

1 Chudley; Kabocha Tiger Lily Firm sturdy body, excellent coat. Broad skull, correct ear set and carriage. Good angulation front and rear. A graceful, nimble and driving movement. RBoB

2 Smith; Snowshoes Belle Of The Ball Balanced, compact and well put together. Clean outline and in proportion. Correct head and ears, making plenty of use of erect ear! Moved well.

1. Smith Kessaku Va Voom At Snowshoes. Short, compact and confident, caught my eye immediately. Symmetrical and in complete proportion. Alert expression and made good use of her erect high and well-set ears. Broad skull, cheeks tapering smoothly into the muzzle. Well angled and muscular And what a mover - covered the ground with minimum effort. BoB

2. Chudley Kabocha Peter Pan Pleasing outline, correct type and with typical head and expression. Carried and used his ears correctly. Good angulation front and rear, well sprung rib. Straight, muscled hindquarters. In good coat and moved ok

1. Richards; Birkcross Secret Agent With Accra JW Stood proud and alert. Loved her head and appealing expression. Clean cut, good eye and ear set, good reach of neck and plenty of bone. Good depth of chest, well sprung. Well-bodied and good front and rear angulation. Moved really well, with drive and purpose – front and hindlegs moved straight true and kept the topline. BoB

2. Lee; Villandya Wizards Apprentice At Amenbury (Imp Esp) Compact dog. Nice clean-cut head and expression – well defined stop. Correct front. Nice bone and good quarters. Moved well front and rear

1. West; Love Story Of Fender Song For Shepalian (Imp) Pleasing expression, lovely eye and ear set, good reach of neck, but a little heavy on the shoulders. Good bone, good depth of chest, balanced front and rear angulation. Moved ok. RBoB

2. Cousins; Love In A Mist Of Fender Song For Moortime JW ShCM (Imp) In good condition. Feminine head and expression. Well off for bone and substance. Well-muscled hindquarters. Moved ok

1. Hawkins; Thingamebob Hes All That. Good masculine head, mouth and ears. Ample depth and fore chest. Back level and well-sprung ribs. Powerful rear quarters showing good drive on the move. Correct coat. Well-padded feet. RBoB

2. Jackson; Cameron’s Great Blue Yonder At Ramsgrove (Imp Can) Feminine expression and well balanced throughout. Good head qualities and eye colour. Good neck and hindquarters and moved well.

1. Jackson Bryonyhill Wizzard Wizzes to Crestasan Smart and showy dog. Head correctly proportioned and balanced. Correct eye, good neck, well-placed sloping shoulders. Good front, nice bone, good ribs, well sprung. Correct angulation front and rear, well-bent stifles and low hocks. Correct tail and carriage. Stood square and moved out with long strides purposefully and true. BoB

Excellent ear-set and eye, good reach of neck, deep chest and excellent front and rear angulation. His movement was faultless. BP BoB

2. Tungate; Prince Of Sunlight Let Me Love You (Imp Hun) Just a little more reticent than 1. Pleasing head, could have used her ears better. Good front and feet, nice outline and quarters. Moved well.

1. Shaw; Astradine Kornishman JW ShCM. Smart, powerful, dignified and masculine. Correct head of good shape with large, dark and expressive eyes. Strong neck set on well-laid-back shoulders, well boned and good cushioned feet. Topline held on the move which he completed well. A well-deserved BoB

2. Hensley & Swift; Monksley Prunella At Zuberg Well-balanced and feminine. Good head and eye colour. Good angles front and rear but movement a little looser than 1. Firm and well-muscled back.

1.Haensel; Philhope Summer Highlights At Sherkarl Balanced and well put together. Clean outline and in proportion. Correct head and ears, making plenty of use of tipped ear! Not in her best coat but everything else was in the right place. Moved well BP

2. Pierce; Philhope Summer Flame Another pleasing puppy- feminine, correct type and with typical head and expression. Carried and used her ears correctly. Good angulation front and rear, well sprung rib. Straight and correct hocks. Moved well

3.Waldron; Frecia Golden Times

1.Pierce Philhope Taste Of Summer. Caught my eye and did not disappoint. Symmetrical and in complete proportion. Feminine and alert expression and made good use of her ears. Flat skull, clean cheeks merging smoothly into a well-rounded muzzle. Covered the ground with minimum effort. BoB G4

2.Haensel; Sherkarl Copper Highlights Alert, feminine, gentle and intelligent expression. Lovely to go over. Shoulders well laid back and good spring of rib. Good angulation. Moved well, really covering the ground.

3.Wood; Malaroc Rainydaze

1. Waldron; Lavika Good Times At Frecia In good coat and at one with her handler. Flat skull, good ear set and carriage. Good angulation front and rear. Level back with gradual slope to croup. Again, a graceful and driving movement. Strong in the challenge but a well-deserved RBoB

1. Biss; Valaller Rain Maker Good head, mouth and ears. Ample depth and forechest. Powerful rear quarters showing good drive on the move. Well-padded feet. BP

2. Howe; Valaller Rainchild Again, plenty of quality, super head and ears, good front and rear assembly. Reach of neck and clean outline. Good on the move but 1 really had the edge today.

1. Howe; Danga’s Diva X-Dotter Of Valaller (Imp Swe). . Loved her head and appealing expression. Clean cut, good eye and ear set, good reach of neck and plenty of bone. Good depth of chest. Well-bodied and good front and rear angulation. Moved really well, with drive and purpose BoB

2. Hackney; Starvon All About Me Pleasing expression, soundly constructed, well angulated, giving good movement overall.

1. Jacobs-Pearce Briard; Arundall Mithra Such a handsome and dignified dog, full of energy and demanded notice. Kept his well-balanced structure on the move, which was effortless and just covered every inch of space. Correct head proportions, muscular neck, large and gentle eyes, good pigmentation and in super condition. BPAVNSC PG1

2. Thomas Hung. Puli; Mournebrake Bad Biscuit. Lovely breed type, good masculine head with domed skull, correct ears, super outline, short and broad loin and good quarters. Tight feet

1. Cooper & Critchlow Finnish Laphund; Ch Pavoskas Aly Arttu JW ShCM. Strongly built, masculine head, excellent bone and substance. Deep brisket, clean, balanced outline with short muscular loin and muscular thighs. Correct front and rear angulation. Well-padded feet. Movement was free and very sound. BAVNSC G2

2. Jacobs- Pearce Briard; Salieri Heaven Knows At Arundall ShCM Again, plenty of quality here too, super head and ears, good front and rear assembly. Reach of neck and clean outline. Good on the move but 1 really had the edge on the day

1. Mcshane Shetland SD; Milesend Drama Queen Balanced and well put together. Clean outline and in proportion. Correct head and ears, making plenty of use of tipped ear! Moved well.

2. Webb Pembroke WC; Cottonfields Perseus. Pleasing and biddable expression. Well balanced throughout. Correct head, eye and ear set. Well laid back shoulders leading to a level topline. Deep chest and well-sprung rib. Good angulation. Moved soundly.
