What a lovely class of puppies which bodes well for the breed

1st Trow & Jowsey’s Winterwell Stoney Trail – 11 month old bitch with a clean cut feminine head with correct proportions, straight front leading to compact feet, moderately long neck leading into well laid shoulders, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs, gradually sloping topline, well bent stifles, well muscled rear quarters which she used to advantage on the move, short and flat coat. Her movement won her this class and BP & BOB

2nd Lockett’s Fayemm Forever Together – 10 months old bitch with similar remarks to 1st applying. My 1st just had the edge on the move, but again a feminine bitch with correct broad skull, moderately long neck once again into well laid shoulders, good body proportions, well bent stifles. Moved soundly around the ring and a well deserved RBOB 

3rd Hinchliff’s Goosepoint Gambler

1st Staley’s Jomeel Now I’m Here –Bitch with pleasing head and expression, good length of neck, straight front leading to tight feet, deep chested, short back, ribs deep and well sprung, held her topline on the move and moved soundly around the ring.

2nd Barker’s Valger Rapunzel At Barkersdream JW – Bitch with a feminine head and expression, moderately long neck into well laid back shoulders with corresponding length of upper arm, deep chested, firm, short back, short, flat and coarse coat, correct tailset and tail carriage. Moved well but seemed unsettled coming towards me.

1st Barker’s Radstorm Leagle Eagle at Barkersdream JW – Preferred this bitch for breed type. Feminine head with broad and slightly rounded skull, straight correctly boned forelegs leading to compact feet, moderately long neck, correct fore and rear quarters, deep chested, well sprung ribs. Moved well in all directions.

2nd Staley’s Jomeel Midnight Rambler – Larger framed dog, well laid shoulders, straight front into tight feet, deep chested, well sprung ribs, wide loin, well muscled rear end but just would not settle on the move.

1st Lockett’s Fayemm Remember Me – Liked the overall shape of this bitch, lovely head and expression, straight front with good bone, would prefer tighter feet, moderately long neck into correct shoulder placement, deep chested, well sprung ribs, moved round the ring with drive maintaining her topline.

2nd Staley’s Jomeel Monkey Wrench – Lots to like about this dog but he gave his handler a hard time. Masculine head and expression, moderately long neck into well laid shoulders, short back, deep chested, good spring of ribs, well muscled rear end. Unfortunately, he just would not settle on the move.

1st Bell & Maddox’s Tolriver Enzo At Owlspoint – Loved the overall shape and breed type of this 11 months old dog. Masculine long and angular head and soft expression with deep muzzle and well chiseled beneath the eyes. Strong straight forelegs leading to tight feet, square body with deep chest, well sprung ribs, short slightly arched loin, good bend of stifle, correct tailset. Moved well in all directions. – BP, RBOB & Gundog Puppy Group 3

2nd Beecham’s Allegro Nord Bohemia Sheram – Larger framed 9 months old dog with a masculine head and expression, straight front, good spring of rib, deep chested, good bend of stifle. Moved soundly but needs to tighten in rear.

1st Bell & Maddox’s Tolriver Enzo At Owlspoint – As Puppy

2nd Sladden’s Ebano Dell’Oltresavio At Canemamans (Imp Ita) – Nearly 17 month old dog with good body proportions, masculine head with correct planes, a kind expression with nice tight eye, correct oval bone, deep chested, well sprung ribs, moved soundly with enthusiasm but needs to tighten on rear movement..

3rd Hamlyn & Frost’s Elettra Dell’Oltresavio Of Amestorah (Imp Ita)

1st Critchley’s Braccorions Never Say Never JW – Bitch that present a square outline. Feminine head with correct planes, slight stop, nose large and spongy, straight forelegs, strong neck leading to well laid back shoulders, deep chested, well sprung ribs, short loin, moderate bend of stifle, moved well with purpose.

1st Sanderson’s Owlspoint Trouble At Mill ShCM ShCEx BWNL’18 – Loved this dog for his overall shape and for breed type. Masculine head and expression with dark ochre eye with eyelids tight, deep muzzle with correct chiseling beneath the eyes, correct ear set and shape, straight strong forelegs leading to oval tight feet, square body, deep chested, good spring of ribs, short well muscled slightly arched loin, moderate bend of stifle. Moved with reach and drive to win this class and BOB and Gundog Group 1

2nd Sladden’s Tyrbechgyn Believe You Will At Canemamans JW – Masculine head and kind expression with correct eye shape and ear set, deep chested, good spring of rib, short loin, moderate bend of stifle, correct topline, needs time to mature. Moved again with drive and purpose.

3rd Beecham’s Grafskoe Gnezdo (Imp)

1st Harrison’s Chanderhill Talk O’The Town at Glenbrows – 7 months old dog who was presented well and stood out for breed type. Masculine head and expression with correct head ratios, oval shape dark eye, straight forelegs leading into tight round feet, short neck into well laid back shoulders, well sprung ribs, deep chest, moderate bend of stifle, woolly curled coat. Moved so well for one so young in all directions. BP & Gundog Puppy Group 1

2nd Hodgkinson- Rutherford & Rutherford’s Chanderhill Top Totty – I see this is the litter sister to my winner and similar remarks apply. Feminine head and expression with correct planes of skull and muzzle, short neck into well laid shoulders, deep chested, good spring of rib, moderate bend of stifle. Just preferred the firsts movement.

2nd Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s Ferrylands Hunting High And Low For Chanderhill JW (Imp) – 13 month old bitch who presented a pleasing outline. Correct head proportions, short neck into well laid shoulders, chest deep, good spring or rib, moderate rear end, coat of correct texture. Moved with drive and purpose.

2nd Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s Pabiagas Cupid To Chanderhill – Dog with a masculine head and expression with correct proportions, strong and straight forequarters leading to tight round feet, deep chest, well sprung rib, who was not in the best of coats, moved soundly.

3rd Griffiths’ Valentisimo’s Freedom

1st Hodgkinson-Rutherford & Rutherford’s Swiss/Ir Ch Chanderhill Hecho En Espana NLD JCH JWW18 – Liked this bitch for her overall shape and breed type, feminine head and expression with correct eye shape and ear set, straight parallel forelegs leading to tight feet, short neck into well laid shoulders, deep chested, level topline which was held on the move, moderate bend of stifle, well corded coat. Brisk movement with drive and true in all directions. BOB & Gundog Group 4

2nd Gregory’s Espiritu La Manga – Larger framed bitch, straight front leading to tight feet, well sprung rib, carrying a bit too much weight. Moved soundly.

1st Pinkerton’s Bareve Best Not Said – GWP - 6 month old bitch who presented a balanced picture. Feminine head and expression with moderate stop, medium sized eyes and ears, good bone, good spring of rib, well bent stifle, correct harsh coat. Was very together on the move for one so young. BP & Gundog Puppy Group 4

2nd Ogle & Suchett-Kaye Raycris The Temptress – Large Munsterlander – Loved this 6 month old bitch, feminine head and intelligent expression, straight front leading to tight feet, good depth of brisket, short coupled, hips broad, in lovely coat. She certainly gave her handlers a hard time on the move, but when settled you could see how true and correct her movement is in all directions. One to watch for the future for sure.

3rd Elkin’s Tollelkin Caife Americano

1st Pinkerton’s Bareve Best Mate – I see this is litter brother to my winner of puppy. He is just a masculine version of his sister and the owner will have fun for sure in the future with him. My notes say “wiggly bum” as he was just such a happy dog. He is just not so together as his sister at the moment on the move but he could not be denied his win on his construction.

2nd Elkin’s Tollelkin Caife Americano – NSDTR – 3rd in puppy. 9 months dog with a masculine head and expression, medium length neck into well laid back shoulders, excellent body proportions, well bent stifle, in superb coat which was gleaming. Moved well in all directions.

3rd Smart’s Cadanbyrig Marin

1st Elkin’s Tollelkin Caife Americano – As Junior

2nd Smart’s Questor Layla At Cadanbyrig – GLP – Feminine head with a soft intelligent expression, forelegs straight and lean leading to tight feet, well sprung rib, not in her best coat, moved soundly.

3rd Tomlinson’s Liric Delectable

1st Streven’s Sh Ch Erikachen Conaire At Tollisty JW ShCM ShCEx – NSDTR – A dog that I have judged before and I still love him. Such a balanced dog with a masculine clean cut wedge shaped head with a lovely expression, medium length neck into well laid shoulders, strong straight forelegs leading to compact feet, well sprung rib with short back, well bent stifles, correct level topline which he held on the move. Moves so well in all directions. BAVNSC & Gundog Group 2

2nd Miller’s Feorlig Prima Donna – ESS – Balanced compact bitch who presented a lovely outline, feminine head and expression with correct proportions, straight front leading to compact feet, strong neck into well laid shoulders, well sprung ribs, deep chested, well muscled loin, well bent stifle, in excellent coat. Moved so well in all directions was a pleasure to watch. Loved her but unfortunate to meet the 1st dog.

3rd Elkin’s Tollekin Water Dancer

A lovely class of Veterans and I only wished I had more first prize cards.

1st Bryant, Bryant & Hollis’ Sh Ch Phenset Blue Max. – English Setter – Loved this dog for his overall shape and balance. Masculine head with correct proportions, straight rounded forelegs leading to tight feet, long muscular neck into well laid back shoulders, deep chested, well sprung ribs, well bent stifles, free in movement and moved true in all directions.

2nd NL Ch Thandiwe Arthur Sixpence SGWC BWNL’18 – Field Spaniel – Presented a balanced picture. Masculine well chiseled head, well developed chest, moderately bent stifles, moved soundly. This award apparently gives him his Veteran Warrant.

3rd Young’s Suttonpark Brogue

1st Wakefield’s Nantiderri Hubert – Korthals Griffon – Medium sized dog with masculine head and expression, well boned, well sprung ribs, this dog was a handful for the handler and was not happy on the move.

1st Sladden’s Khyannes Triton At Canemamans (Imp Hun) - Braque D’Auvergne – Balanced dog of correct size. Masculine head and expression with large oval eyes, straight front leading to oval feet, deep chested, correct underline, moderate bend of stifle, needs to tighten in front movement. Needs time to fill his frame.

2nd Cooper’s Khyannes Qualite Extra At Gameflow KW’19 (Imp Hun) - Braque D’Auvergne – Feminine head and expression with low set ears and a kind expression, deep chested, well sprung rib, for me she was carrying too much weight and this affected her front movement.
