Firstly, I would like to thank the committee of Billingham Synthonia CC for inviting me to judge the whippets at their open show. I would also like to thank all the exhibitors who entered under me, it was a pleasure to judge some lovely whippets.

P (3,0)

1 Johnston & Wilson’s, Aarminias Dragon Lord of Danluke, A very smart fawn male puppy of only 6 months old. Pleasant masculine head, good length of neck into correct shoulders. Shown in great condition and well balanced throughout, plenty of depth for one so young and good front assembly. Nice shapley outline and decent rear assembly with a good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Best mover on the day, covering plenty of ground and held his topline well in profile. Pleased to award him BOB and BP.

2 Metcalfe’s Aarminias Dance Like a Dafty. Litter brother to the class winner, another lovely fawn male puppy shown in great condition and of correct size. Nice head with a kind expression. Good length of neck into correct shoulders. Nice shapely outline with a definite tuck up and good rear angulation. Just lost out to his brother as he was very excited on the day which affected his movement unfortunately and his tail had the tendency to rise a bit high. Obviously just an excitable puppy and I’m sure as he matures, he will settle showing his true movement.

3 Uggeri’s, Supetas Manhattan of Bohosoul

J (2,0)

1 Uggeri’s, Starceylon Nimeria Arya for Bohosoul, A very joyful black bitch of 9 and a half months old that enjoyed her time in the ring. Shown in good condition, lovely coat and neat feet. Good fill in front, nice overall outline and definite tuck up. Good rear angulation and bend of stifle into well let down hocks. Moved out ok just needs time to mature and settle.

2 Marshall’s Barnesmore Spanish Gold, 13-month-old fawn male, pleasing head and expression, correct eye and ears. Neck a little shorter than would have liked but good shoulder placement. Deep chest with plenty of heart room, good spring of rib and nice overall outline. Good amount of muscle in rear and moved out ok but a little unsettled on the day.

PG (8,4)

1 Uggeri’s Esedra Sirenuse at Bohosoul, Lovely feminine fawn bitch, shown in good condition. Pleasing head and expression, good length of neck into correct shoulders. Nice front assembly, with plenty of depth of chest and fill in front. Shapely outline with a nice rise over the loin. Good underline into correct rear assembly with a nice amount of muscle which she used on the move. Great movement and held her topline well in profile.

2 Cannon’s Pursenet Gold Coast of Loskeljen, Fawn brindle parti bitch, a little on the heavy side but nevertheless shown with a great coat, skin and neat feet. Pleasing head and expression, good length of neck into shoulders. Good depth of chest and nice shapely outline. Moved out well in profile.

3 Driver’s Harropine Cordella,

L (2,1)

1 Uggeri’s Collooney Tartan Toffee at Bohosoul, Fawn brindle male of a decent size. Nice Masculine head, good length of neck into correct shoulder placement. Good front, depth of chest and plenty of heart room. Good spring of pastern but would have preferred neater feet. Nice underline with definite tuck up, slight rise over the loin into good rear assembly. Moved out ok but seemed he was on ‘high alert’ on the day which affected his movement.

O (5,2)

1 Johnston & Wilson’s Danluke Luck be a Lady, A mature balanced fawn bitch, pleasing feminine head and expression. Lovely length of neck into correct shoulders. Good depth of chest with plenty of heart room, shapely outline with a nice rise over the loin. Good rear angulation and neat feet. Moved out great, the best in the class and held her topline well in profile. It was evident she is an experienced older lady as she moved out with ease even with the change of handler in the BOB line up.

2 Cannon’s Pursenet el Captain, Fawn brindle male a little on the tall and heavy side but nevertheless shown with a smooth fine coat and neat feet. Masculine head, pleasing expression and good length of neck. Plenty of fill in front, broad well-muscled back with a nice shapely outline. Good bend of stifle and good amount of muscle in the rear which he used on the move. Moved out ok.

3 Uggeri’s Bohosoul a Pillow of Winds,
