Boston Terrier 

Graduate Dog/Bitch   ( 4,2 abs.) 

1. Mrs P Scipio & Mr J Lightfoot  TARAVON SASSIE LASSIE ShCM Loved the head, outline and presentation. Showed well, but overall impression spoiled by somewhat stilted rear movement 

2. Mrs K Snell  SONDURIYA KUMARI. Very compact body and well sprung ribs. Good turn of stifle, but the right rear leg was still unstable on the move. 

Open Dog/Bitch    ( 3,1abs ) 

1. Snell  SONDURIYA  DEWI SANT. A puppy with time to fill out and drop slightly in chest. Lovely head, eyes and expression, carried well on slightly arched neck. Well presented coat and moved with strong drive. Best Of Breed & Best Puppy 

2. Scipio & Lightfoot  TARAVON SHOOTING STAR. Good neck, lovely head and expression. Sufficient depth to chest, but these desirable qualities were let down by inadequate front and rear movement. 

French Bulldog 

Postgraduate D/B   ( 3,2 abs..) 

1. Mrs C Hammond  TWINHOE LOVES TO BOOGIE. Compact body with well muscled hindquarters, robust, slightly arched neck. Square-ish head with size and breadth. Cheerful expression, with well placed ears wide at the base and rounded at the top. Good front movement but a little erratic at the rear. 

Open D/B  ( 3,1 abs.) 

1.  Mrs S S Vearncombe & Mr & Mrs Hale    TYTORRO PAINT IT BLACK WITH RUPTION KNIGHTCOTT JW. Lovely head and eyes with well developed cheek muscles; strong neck. Good width and depth to brisket with body narrower in the loin. Best Of Breed 

2.  Hammond TWINHOE ROCKIN ROBIN.  Very keen to show, attentive to handler and engaging personality, but not quite so well developed in the head and somewhat stilted rear movement. 

Miniature Schnauzer 

Open D/B   ( 2 ) 

1.  Misses R & L Woods & Mr T Braithweight  PENBRO KENSINGTON. Compact enough with good topline and tail-set. Well shaped head and slightly arched neck. Good rear angulation and drive, sufficient reach in front. Shown with well groomed and correct coat. Best Of Breed 

2.  Misses R,L & V Woods PENBRO THE DUTCHESS. Lovely compact outline with good depth to chest.. Nice neck and feminine head.Also in lovely coat but not quite so strong in rear movement 

Poodle  (Toy) 

Open D/B   ( 3 ) 

1. Miss V M Dunn  AEDAN THE LITTLE DEVIL AT VALETTA. Had the benefit of excellent presentation and training. Elegant and well balanced in outline and movement. Lovely head carried high, strong rear movement. Best Of Breed 

2. Dunn  VALETTA IT’S YOUR CHOICE. Rather playful and unsettled, which made it harder to assess movement. Lovely coat, pleasing head, slightly shorter in leg. 

3. Mrs M C McConnaughy  AFTERGLOW DUNCAN BISQUIT. Youngster who has not got it together yet. Best Puppy 

Poodle  (Miniature) 

Open D/B  (3.1 abs. ) 

1.  Ms S M Cann  SUNMARCA MOONLIGHT SHADOW. Sufficient length to head, not too broad with strong muzzle, correct bite and no weakness in the bottom jaw. Enough neck to carry the head high, correct topline, well presented coat and moving with balanced reach and drive. Best Of Breed 

2.  Miss A J Nash  ANTIQUARIUS SHOOTING STAR.. A puppy with good length of neck. Head not too broad with lovely dark eyes and lean tight-fitting lips, but slightly weaker in bottom jaw. Appeared to have some issues with topline and rear action. Best Puppy. 

Poodle  (Standard) 

Open D/B   ( 3,1 abs. ) 

1. Mrs D Sarson  SARNIA ROCK THIS WAY .Litter mates and still puppies out for some training. In my opinion this boy is the sounder of the two. Good head with strong muzzle, tight lips and correct bite. Sound and elegant mover with strong rear drive. Well presented coat, correct tail-set and carriage. Best Of Breed and Best Puppy 

2  Mr B & Mrs J Hutton  SARNIA SHOW ME THE WAY TO GO. Well presented coat but not so polished showmanship and less impressive in movement. 

Shih Tzu 

Open D/B   ( 2 ) 

1. Mis0s R Smith  DYLAN BLEKITNY KANION  (Imp. Poland). Arched neck, level back, sufficient length to sturdy body.Breadth to head and width to muzzle. Large dark round and expressive eyes. High-set tail carried well over the back for  balanced effect. Keen showman and sound mover in impressive coat. Best Of Breed 

2.  Mr S S Matthews  MATSHA JAMBALAYA. This very well trained youngster was in good puppy coat, appeared both balanced and sound, moving with confidence and drive. Best Puppy. 

Tibetan Terrier 

Graduate D/B  ( 5.) 

1. Mr G V & Mrs K Plummer & Miss H Bingham  SILGARHI HOLY SMOKE TO TETSIKARMA JW. Liked his balanced, sound movement, correct tailset and carriage, excellent coat and well shaped head with strong muzzle. 

2. Mrs J Chamberlain TIAMASTAE’S SNOW ANGEL Also a pleasing head and correct tailset and carriage. Good topline, short strong slightly arched loin, but perhaps a little too well sprung in rib as he moved somewhat wide in front., though otherwise sound in movement.  

3. Mr P Williams & Miss D Terry TASHIS SPIRIT TIGER LILY DOLKAR (Imp. POL.) 

Open D/B  ( 3, 1 abs. ) 

1. Mr G & Mrs H Stickley CH SILGARHI DEXTERITY AT WALKAMILE JW ShCM. Of these two lovely dogs this was more square in outline with a strong well muscled body. Well shaped head with strong jaws and teeth. Lovely to watch on the move and in excellent coat. Best Of Breed. 

2.  Mr & Mrs Plummer TETSIKARMA STARGAZER ShCM ShCEx VW. Loved the free smooth movement, well groomed coat and superb showmanship. Great rapport with handler

Postgraduate D/B  ( 4,1abs. ) 

1. Mr S & Mrs V Marshall. Keeshond ARABESQUE AT DEVONIA (Imp.RUS.) Well proportioned wedge shaped head with strong jaws and scissor bite. Compact body with correct topline and good depth of chest. Good coat with ruff, feathering and well defined markings. Showed really well. 

2. Mr B & Mrs C Bull & Miss L Warren. Shar Pei. ZARALEE I’M STILL STANDING AT STARFERRY (Imp. IRE) Still a young puppy, but what a keen and enthusiastic showman and moving very strongly. Promising in head and outline. Best AVNSC Utility Puppy 

3. Mr A Hill & Mrs C Wilkin Keeshond  WHIZZKEES SILVER SPIRIT 

Open D/B  ( 9,4 abs...) 

1. Miss P Moore  Schnauzer  ODIVANE MUMMY’S BOY AT FILLIPERS. Keen showman displaying superb, well balanced outline both standing and on the move. Good proportions to head with almost parallel lines to top of forehead and muzzle,nice arched line to neck. Sound mover. Best AVNSC Utility 

2. Mr A & Mrs S Hill  Keeshond  WHIZZKEES EBONY SILVER FOR PLYMKEES JW ShCM. Compact, balanced outline. Correct coat texture, colour and markings. Quite a handful at first, but when settled showed and moved very well.

1. Mrs L M David & Mrs J Saunders  Dalmatian DALLYDYL THE LOVING SPIRIT. Good length to neck, level topline, well sprung ribs and depth to chest. Free, balanced powerful movement 

2. Mrs P J Bevis Tibetan Spaniel  BRUESOWN KEZIYA WITH STARLANCE. Well proportioned overall with well sprung ribs and good length to rib cage. .Head carried proudly, cushioned muzzle without excessive length. Depth and width to chin with teeth concealed when mouth closed. Level back, correct tailset and carriage Liked her movement 

3. Miss S Penny Tibetan Spaniel CHENREZI TI AMO 

Open D/B   ( 5,4 abs.).) 

1. Mrs J Stedham  Eurasier ALBIONSPITZ TANZANITE ShCM. Well muscled neck, straight back, good length to loin, correct tailset and carriage. Wedge-shaped head and jaws of roughly equal length. Excellent pigmentation. In outline moved with reach and drive.

1. Mrs J Casey Russian Toy RUSSIAN DREAM CODY FLEMING FOR SHAMAL. Alert, confident and soundly made, this little guy really impressed in movement which was quite outstanding. Beautiful example of the breed.in every way. 

2. Mr & Mrs J West  White Swiss Shepherd Dog  OJONS GHOST RIDER DE L’AIGE DE LA TOURNELLE SHEPALIAN. Lovely head, neck and coat. Depth to chest with ribs carried well back. Keen showman very attentive to handler, but somewhat narrow both coming and going.

Appealing head with dark forward looking eyes set sufficiently apart. Blunt cushioned muzzle with width and depth to chin. Keen steady showman and moving really well.

Lovely balanced head with skull tapering into powerful muzzle.Good strong teeth, Erect high-set ears and well placed dark almond shaped eyes.Deep chest, strong sloping back, sturdy well muscled hindquarters. Moved and showed with confidence and conviction
