Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge their show and the exhibitors for their entries and patience.

SBT Grad. (1) 1 Hall’s Geordiestaff Luv Bobbiedog, 8 yr old bitch, pleasing head, well muscled throughout with good ribbing, strong neck moved ok, well handled.

SBT Open (2) 1. & BOB Nicholson’s Northstaff Poster Boy, 2 yr old dog, soundly constructed with good head and expression, good muscle tone moved round ring with purpose. Pleased to see to see G4. 2. Hall’s Geordiestaff Canny Laddie JW, 8 yr old dog, strong head on well muscled neck, preferred the more compactness of 1, moved nicely, shown and handled well.

BASENJI Open (2) 1 & BOB Eliot’s Orange Moon Mysterious Talisman Imp BLRX, 14month old bitch pleasing head, good neck top line and tail set, ok for bone, moved true out and back, held top line on the move round, still needs to mature, handled well. 2. McGee’s Mozart Mysterious Talisman, 3 yr old dog, preferred the overall confirmation of 1, head ok, nicely arched neck, well muscled, not the movement or carriage of 1, handled well.

DACHS L/H Open (3) 1 & BOB Lumley’s Dagastren Martha My Dear, 21month old bitch, good head and expression, well developed keel, good muscle tone, level top line held on the move, with true movement out and back. 2. Naik’s Humberdax Turbulant Sky, 21month old dog, liked this dog such a pity he was a bit overawed today, nice head, good neck and level top line when he moved, with enough bone, hopefully he will settle.

DACHS MIN L/H Open (2) 1 & BOB Mason’s Tolberg Beez Kneez At Teckeltown, 2yr old bitch, well put together, good overall size, appealing head of good proportions, good depth keel, held her level top line on the move which was true out and back, shown in good condition. 2. Drady’s Indiko Silver Chamer 21month old bitch, longer cast and not the top line of 1 on the move, good head and ear set, well enough off for bone.

DACHS MIN S/H GRAD (4,1) 1 Mason’s Teckeltown Your the One, 21month old bitch of good proportions, moving true holding top line, well developed keel, correct bone. 2. Hudson’s Teckeltown Raindrops, 6month old bitch, handled well for one so young, another looking good on the move, appealing head with good ear set, one for the future.

DACHS MIN S/H OPEN (2) 1 & BOB Bell’s Tolberg Jelly Tot 11 month old bitch, nicely constructed, good depth keel, appealing head into good neck, level top line which was held on the move, true out and back. 2. Mason’s Teckeltown Something Magic 21month old dog, preferred front assembly and top line of 1, nice head and expression with good ear set, well enough off for bone, good tail carriage.

DACHS S/H OPEN (2) 1 & BOB Maskell’s Clentry Monster Mash At Brownbank Sh.Cm 61/2yr old soundly built dog carrying himself well on the move, good head and expression, enough bone, shown in good condition.

IRISH WOLFHOUND OPEN (3) 1 & BOB & G4 Allitt’s Madigan The Magnificent Of Jascarah 41/2yr old loved the head and expression on this dog, good sound bone, balanced in outline, good coat condition, moving freely. 2. Allitt’s Austonleys Gilberi Darey At Jascarah 14month old similarly liked head etc of this dog, needs to mature, moved well.

SALUKI OPEN (1) 1 & BOB Bloomfield’s Glenoak Laquan 3yr old dog, shown in good condition, moving true out and back, appealing head into good neck and top line , well angulated, handled well.

WHIPPET JUN. (2) 1, BOB & HG2 Potts’ Ranveli Lemon Popsicle At Klondyke 1yr old bitch, liked the overall picture of this bitch when stacked, sweet head and expression into good neck and top line, angulation not overdone, good bone, moved true out and back. 2 & BPIB McKay & Mycroft’s Envisage This At Supeta, 10 month old bitch, longer cast than 1, good head and ear set, enough bone, well muscled, moved well.

WHIPPET GRAD. (3) 1. Johnston & Wilson’s Aarminias Dragon Lord Of Danluke 6month old dog, Good overall balance, nice feet, appealing head with good ear set, a little close behind on the move. 2. McKay’s Danluke Little Red Dress At Jubrancy 18 month old bitch, hard decision between 1 & 2, similar attributes to one, preferred top line of 2, good bone, a little unsettled on table when she saw her breeder in ring, moved well when settled.

WHIPPET OPEN (3,1) 1 Dillon & Bailey’s Stonefox Ice Pick Willy @ Runfoest JW year old dog with good balanced angulation, correct bone, appealing head and expression, good depth brisket, moved well round the ring. 2. Hardcastle’s Collooney Nickers In A Twist 5yr old bitch not quite the free flowing movement and top line of 1 in my opinion , well muscled , nice feet, head ok, handled well.

AVNSC HOUND PUPPY (1) 1 & B AVH NSC PUPPY Wood’s Marada The Cheviot, loved this young man whenever he entered the ring, shown in great condition, well developed throughout without exaggeration, good head with nice eye well filled fore chest, sound out and back, did all he was asked. HG3 & HPG2

AVNSC HOUND OPEN (6,2) 1 Scanlon’s Kinabula’s All About The Bass JW 21/2yr old RR bitch typical head, good depth brisket, well sprung ribs, well muscled, moved well. 2. Hall’s Msingi All About Me Of Cynami bitch well balanced and constructed, would prefer a little more of her throughout, good pigmentation and dark eye, moved soundly.

HOUND GROUP - 1. Beagle. Craig’s Bayard Glory Bee 7 month old tan & white smart compact bitch catches the eye, soundly put together soft expression level top line on the move, good tail set, moved true out and back, will watch her development.  2. Whippet. Potts’ Ranveli Lemon Popsicle At Klondyke. 3. Basset. Wood’s Marada The Cheviot. 4. Irish Wolfhound. Allitt’s Madigan The Magnificent Of Jascarah.

HOUND PUPPY GROUP - 1. Beagle. Craig’s Bayard Glory Bee, please to see her go BPIS. 2. Basset. Wood’s Marada The Cheviot. 3. Dachs M/S Bell’s Tolberg Jelly Tot. 4. Whippet. McKay & Mycroft’s Envisage This At Supeta.

AVHG (5,2) 1 Beagle. Jones’ Clairdale Evelyn soundly constructed bitch, carrying a little too much weight over the shoulder which spoiled the overall picture for me, good head and ear set with soft expression, level top line and good set on of tail, moved true out and back. 2. RR. .Hall’s Msingi All About Me Of Cynami.

AVHO (3,2) 1 RR. Scanlon’s Kinabula’s All About The Bass.

AVHV (5,4) 1 RR. Scanlon’s Sharufa Dream Maker ShCm VW 8yr old bitch good overall construction, moved well for handler when settled, nice dark eye and pigment. 2. Beagle. Davies’ Stormpasture Trump Image 71/2yr old broken tri dog a little on the heavy side, appealing head, balanced angulation, good tail set, moved and handled well.
