Many thanks to the committee for the invite to judge at your show, to Karen Wilson for stewarding all day & to the exhibitors for the great entry. The Toy Group was very strong.

  Pekingese. Three lovely Pekes O (3) 1 Patterson & Murray’s Bratilda Starboy, excellent headpiece, flat skull, round dark eyes giving a pleasing expression and he has large open nostrils. Ears are set well with good feathering. Well boned. Picks up well. Correct ear set. Short in neck & body. Tail set high. Moved with the typical rolling gait and holds his topline well. Really liked him. BOB, G2. 2 Patterson & Murray’s Bratilda Maddison, feminine bitch with a good head & expression. Well balanced throughout Short in body. Moved out well. 

Chinese Crested O (1) Simpson’s Rominjay Mythical Vogue, H/L, pretty headed bitch, ear set OK, medium length of body,well set tail, pasterns could be tighter, moved well. BOB

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel P(1) Linton’s Jernito Brown Eyed Girl at TheKop, up to size bitch. Pretty head with a good expression. Good for body, level backed. Well angulated throughout. Well cushioned, compact feet. Moved OK. BP G (8,3) 1 Waddington’s Spindlepoint Minnesota, ruby of ideal size who presents a pleasing outline. So well balanced. Pleasing head with large, dark eyes. Well set ears, neck of good length into well laid shoulders. Short coupled. Level back. Compact feet. Tail of good length, well set and carried well. Free mover. 2 Chantismere Finnegan, blen of good type. Head with good properites. Large, dark eyes, well set, long ears. Good for body. Moved out soundly. L(4,2) 1 Nichol’s Chantismere Choir Boy, Blenheim. Masculine head with large dark eyes & long well set ears. Neck of good length, correct level topline. Sound mover with drive. Presented well. 2 Rogerson’s Svena Witch Hunt, ruby, presented well. Up to size. Masculine headed male. Good length to body, tail well set on & carried correctly. Moved OK. O (5) 1 Sansom’s Byermoor Curtain Call, beautiful Blenheim who stood out here. Perfect for size & breed type. Long, silky coat. So well balanced throughout. Gorgeous head & expression, long, well set ears. Good length of neck. Short coupled with a good spring of rib. Tail well set on. Lovely to watch on the move, so elegant with plenty of drive from behind. Surely a champion for the future. BOB, Group 1. 2 Leach’s Melrose Dalton, Blenheim. Attractive boy with large expressive eyes, good muzzle & ear set. He is very well made, and well proportioned. Tail well set on. Shown in good condition. 3 Fox, Lewharle Izzadorable for Lynmily.

King Charles Spaniel G (3,2) 1 Maddison’s Penemma Raphael, Masculine Blenheim who is up to size. Well domed head with round eyes well set. Good for body. Moved out well and tail was carried well on the move. O (3,1) 1 Kirschbaum & Gillhespy’s Bonitos Companeros Delux Chardonnay (imp Ger), tricolour, super smart boy who was a delight to go over. Well domed head, large dark eyes, ears set on low. Well arched neck. Deep chest. Compact feet. Slightly wavy coat. Free mover. BOB 2 Maddison’s Celxo Charles Dickens ShCM, ruby. Nice dome to head, good well set ears. Could be slightly more compact in build. Moved OK.

Chihuahua Smooth Coat PG (2) 1 Day’s Bratilda Galway Girl at Monicachi, super smart cream bitch. Gorgeous apple dome head with a super expression. Small, well set ears, good length to neck & body. Tail set high and always in use. Comes alive on the move with perfect brisk action. Really well handled. BOB 2 Waddington’s Spindlepoint Major, lovely headed male with small well set ears. Good length to body. Correct feet. Moved OK, just needs time to gain confidence. O (2,0) 1 Waddington’s Spindlepoint Mae West, well made cream bitch, with a soft expression coming from her large dark round eyes. Good body proportions. Presents a balanced outline. Moved well. 2 Ameliachi Making Memories JW ShCM, masculine head, small well set ears, Good for body, topline could be held better. Well set tail which he carried well. 

Longcoat Chihuahua P(3,1) 1 Emmerson’s Ismirelle’s Love Bug, 6 months at his first show, full of confidence, head developing well. Large, well set eyes & ears. Good length to body, dainty feet. Well set tail which he uses well. Moved very well. Should do well. 2 Newbery’s Hermosoangel Little Hatter, slightly more mature than 1, however felt he was slightly too long in body. Good head properties. Tail used to advantage, moved OK but with a touch too much lift. PG (4,1) 1 Newbury’s Mellisa Dogomania at Hermosoangel, very pretty dainty bitch, lovely apple dome skull, round dark eyes, large flaring ears, In good coat. Good for body, correct topline. Dainty feet. Tail set on well & used to her advantage. Really positive mover with the correct briskful action BOB. 2 Gray’s Bratilda Strictly Mine, Close up to 1, pleasing head with good apple domed skull, round dark eyes. Tail well set on and carried well. Moved with good forceful action. O (3,1) 1 Newbery’s Ismirelle’s The Mad Hatter at Hermosoangel, lovely headed male with good apple dome. Large, flaring ears well set on. Large round eyes. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Good body, level topline. Moved out well.

Japanese Chin – a lovely entry, really enjoyed judging these! J(7,1) 1 Emmerson’s Sleepyhollow Randolph, B/W, instantly took my eye for his shape and overall picture. Small & dainty male. So well made throughout. Beautiful head piece Large dark eyes set well, with that astonished expression. Correct mouth. In good coat for his age. Square & compact in body. Tail set on high. Stylish mover, who I’m sure will go on to gain his crown as he matures. BOB, shortlisted in a very strong group. 2 Gillhespy & Van Baaren-Grob’s Chinart Akerrn, another B/W with a pleasing outline. Good size to head, large typical eye. Proud neck into well laid shoulders. Short in body. Tail well set on. Another stylish mover. 3 Emmerson’s Ouzlewell’s Annya. BP, TG4 PG (5,1) 1 Omikudzi Kamelot, super smart male of good shape. Lovely head piece, typical expression. Proud neck, into square, compact body. Correct feet. Tail well set on. Good mover with good reach. 2 Emmerson’s Bootylicious, dainty bitch with a super character, really on her toes. Pretty head, with well set ears, typical expression. Square body, level back, tail set on well. Good feet. Great mover. Just preferred maturity of 1. Really promising. O(4,1) 1 Curtis’s Aleemai Walk This Way, nicely balanced bitch with a compact and elegant outline. Lovely headpiece, with the desired astonished look. Good for bone. Cobby in body with a lovely topline. Moved well & shown to advantage. 2 Leach’s Daniel Solechnyi Angel, R/W male of good shape. Good headpiece. Correct earset.. Compact in body, level back. Tail set on well. Moved out well. 3 Beadling’s Sharlarna Tailor Made For Dekobras JW ShCM

 Lowchen O (3,1) 1 Richardson Hollinsclose Shotgun, handsome up to size male, broad skull, round dark eyes, ears of a good length. Proudly arched neck into well laid shoulders. Well proportioned body. Small feet. Tail carried well on the move. Free mover. Another promising puppy. BOB, BP, PG2. 2 Hollinclose Shining Star, such a pretty bitch of good size & shape. Lovely head. Dark eyes. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Slightly shorter in body than her kennelmate. Moved out well, sure she’ll do well as she matures.

 Papillon G (5,1) 1 Ramsey & Mowatt’s Iotastar Great Adventure, smart male who is very well presented in good coat. Masculine head with a nicely rounded skull. Dark round eyes, large well fringed ears, set on well. Good shoulders into a level topline. Correct hare-like feet. Long, well set tail. Moved out freely. BOB 2 Webber’s adnamashan Take That, close up to 1 and many of the same comments apply. Just preferred the muzzle of 1. Again, he moved soundly. 3 Richardson’s Sunny Tommy Tucker to Belvane. PG (3) 1 Webber’s Adnamashan Take That. 2 Ramsay & Mowatt’s Iotastar’s Brave New World, smaller dog, pleasing head properties. Good for body. Moved ok. 3 O (4,2) 1 Richardson’s Rozamie Request Belvane, well balanced male with correct head proportions. Fine muzzle and dark eye. Good ear set. Moved out soundly. 2 Ramsay & Mowatt’s Farthinghall’s Foxy Lady of Iotastar, pretty bitch of 9 years. Good head properties. Large mobile ears. Good neck into level topline. Moved OK. 

 Havanese G (2) 1 Rowell’s Sassena Perfect Harmony at Suanity. Lovely size to this girl. Pretty, well balanced head. Correct topline with slight rise over the loin. Moved out soundly. 2 Lemin’s Tynebears Favourite Son, 4 year male, preffered the head of 1. Good for body, correct feet. Moved out soundly O (3) 1 Holliday’s Pandaprint Casanova, very appealing head & expression. Good length to body, strong topline. Well set tail. Moved out well. BOB, BP. 2 Monsaraz Rosalyn De Cuba, well constructed bitch, in good coat & body. Free easy mover. 

 Coton Du Tulear G (3,1) 1 Cukoton Bewitched, well presented bitch in good coat. Well balanced throughout, good head properties with good pigmentation. Good feet. Moved out well. 2 Scott’s Blosscoton Mustardseed at Cukoton, up to size male. Masculine head with good pigmentation. Neat feet. Correct topline. Moved soundly. O (2) 1 Murdoch’s Cukoton White Magic Jinx for Cotonalba, attractive male of good size. Balanced head with good pigmentation. Good depth of chest. Coat was of correct texture. Moved out with excellent reach and drive. BOB 2 Cukoton’s Sky’s The Limit ShCM, Well presented & excellent coat texture. Feminine head with a nice expression. Well balanced throughout. Moved out with good reach and drive. 

 Italian Greyhound G (1) 1 Luna Eclipse Over Salixlignum, up to size black, pretty head with correct ears which were well placed. Long, well arched neck into well laid shoulders. Deep chest, back slightly arched over loin. Low set tail carried low. Moved out typically. BP O (1) 1 Willcock’s Newill Good As Gold JW ShCM, Fawn bitch of ideal size. Feminine head which is well proportioned. Correct, well set ears. Long, arched neck onto well angulated shoulders with a good front. Good topline with a rise over the loin. Elegant mover. BOB. 

 Griffon Bruxellois O (2) 1 Gullon’s Barnfall Sunshine JW, ultra smart red rough who was a comfortable winner. Shown in excellent condition with a harsh jacket. Attractive head & expression. Well set ears. Compact in body & moved out with purpose. Future Champion for sure. BOB, shortlisted in the group. 2 Bennett-Harrington’s Beauborne Crusader, smooth b/t in good condition. Pleasing head & neck. Good for body. Moved well. 

 AVNSC Toy O (2) 1 Murray’s Lamplighter Bendill A Tail Of Two Cities, AST, bitch with a pleasing head of moderate length. Small, oval eyes giving a lovely expression. Small, well shaped ears set on high. Decent neck into shoulders. Good length of body. Small, cat like feet. Moved out freely. BAVNSC 2 Eilbeck’s Chermae Sensation, Yorkshire Terrier, bitch who was presented well. Pleasing head with good expression and correct earset. Didn’t hold her topline on the move today. Moved well. 

 AV Toy P (9,5) 1 Dixon’s Witchstone’s Mines A Double at Lasagesse. 2 Pandaprint Casanova J (5) 1 Day’s Bratilda Galway Girl at Monicachi. 2 Luna Eclipse Over Salixlignum O (5,3) 1 Harbron’s Mezrab Master Thomas, Peke of good size, decent head piece. Good for body, picks up heavy. Moved out typically. 2 Cherimae Sensation. AV Toy Veteran (7,2) 1 Adnamashan Bat Out Of Hell, Papillon. 2 Theaker’s Trayshellin Talkofthetown at Binkachi, Chi in good condition for her age. Correct apple dome, well set ears. Good for body. Moved soundly. 


 Toy Group A well filled, quality group! I shortlisted the Japanese Chin & Griffon for further consideration. 1 Cavalier, Byermoor Curtain Call 2 Pekingese, Bratilda Starboy 3 ETT, Lasagesse Definitely Maybe, one I have watched from the ringside. Pretty wedge shaped head, dark eye giving a lovely expression, well set candle flame ears. Well bodied, with good top & underlines. Well marked with good thumbprints & pencilling. Moved out with enough reach and drive. 4 Min Pin, Kaypin Voulez Vous, red with a pleasing head, although eye could be a shade darker. Elegant neck into well laid shoulders, strong topline, well set tail. Compact cat-like feet. Moved with good lift & rear drive. Puppy Group 1 ETT, Witchstone Mine’s A Double at Lasagesse, presents a really lovely outline. Well balanced throughout. He is handsome headed boy of a correct wedge shape, dark eye. Well set candle shaped ears, good length to neck. Compact in body with pleasing topline. Correctly marked. Moved out with a lovely extended trot and good rear drive. 2 Lowchen, Hollinclose Shotgun 3 Min Pin, Vicstock Black Majic, blk/tan of a good size. Pretty head with dark eyes and small well set ears. Compact in body. Good tailset. Moved out with enough lift & rear drive. 4. Japanese Chin, Ouzlewell Annya
