Best In Show

Best in Show from a nice line-up went to the Chinese Crested, 414 Lane’s Transylvania Sasima at Konishiki JW (Imp Pol). A beautiful 17 month old bitch of super type, with a real quality head-piece and lovely expression. Stands true in front, with an excellent overall body shape and parallel in the rear. Lovely tail-set and carriage and didn’t put a foot out of place on the move. Such a pleasure to award her Best In Show.

Reserve Best in Show was the Irish Terrier, 476 Bamsey’s Holbam Celtic Wizzard JW. A 20 month old male full of quality and character, making such a lovely shape and outline. Classic head-piece, super neck and shoulders, great front and feet and lovely and firm through the body. Strong and positive through the rear, turned out in great coat and excels on the move.

Best Puppy In Show

My Best Puppy in Show was the 10 month old Pug, 439 Ellis’ Eastonite Sauce Sue. Loved this puppy, she just oozes breed type with so much quality in the head piece and so feminine. Lovely neck and shoulders and such a quality front with super tight feet. Excellent overall body shape and so strong in the rear for her age. Turned out in great coat and condition and just excelled herself on the move. A star of the future.

Reserve Best Puppy in Show was 138 Wilton-Clark’s Shalfleet Toy Story, a 6 month old Whippet male of excellent type. Lovely, quality head-piece with a great expression. Firm through the neck and shoulders with the best of fronts and tight feet. He excels in body shape and proportion and so parallel and firm in the rear for his age. Correct in tail-set and carriage and so true on the move when viewed from all angles. Such a positive youngster.

Best Veteran In Show

Best Veteran in Show was the English Springer Spaniel, 307 McCourt’s Ir Sh Ch Woodspa Royal Ascot ShCM. So much to like about this 7 year old female. Lovely overall type with a quality head and a pleasing expression. Stands on a good front with excellent feet. Firm throughout the body and strong through the rear. Good tail-set and carriage and really uses herself on the move. Turned out in super coat and condition.

Reserve Best Veteran in Show was the Manchester Terrier, 502 Ferguson’s Ch Felfree Rocket ShCM. 7 and a half year old male making a super shape and outline. Stands parallel in front with nice neck and shoulders and a quality head. Firm through the body and excellent, well-muscled rear. Good tail-set and carriage and so true on the move. A pleasure to go over.

2nd 19 Simmonds’ Teffills Zalman (Imp Rus). Quality youngster in nice coat with a pleasing head and the right expression. Good neck and shoulders, correct in front and strong in the rear. Good tail carriage and moved really well for his age. Reserve Best of Breed

Quality head, good front and feet, strong in the rear and moves out with purpose. Turned out in excellent coat and condition. Pleased to award him Reserve Best of Breed.

Excellent overall body shape and nice and strong through the rear with a good tail-carriage. A little bouncy in the front movement but excellent on the rear.
