WEIMARANERS

P. 1. Halliday’s Greyspirit Orora T’Challa. Appealing 9mths bitch. Level topline with slightly sloping croup and well turned stifle. Pretty head with good eye, high set ears and clear occiput. Stands on firm feet with well arched toes and covers the ground well on the move. BPIB and PG 3.

SY. 1. Murray’s Rachmor Silver Tassie. Balanced outline being longer than tall, good bone and well muscled throughout. She has forechest and well developed hindquarters. I liked her head and expression but felt her ears could be longer. Moved on a good length of stride to take BOB.

2. Duffy’s Almoor Lady Gaga. Whilst I preferred the head of the winner this one had better ear length. Good width to chest and depth of brisket, strong loin.

3. Beckley’s Gunalt Interviews at Nothfantasma

PG. 1. MacLaine & Dickson’s Greyspirit Hopes N’ Dreams. Balanced outline with legs well under body. Plenty of depth with good length and return of upper arm. Decent rear angulation. Attractive head with pronounced occiput and moderately deep flews.

2. Krajciova One Night Only. Slight median line to head and long, high set ears. Has plenty of bone and good quarters. Just not the depth of the winner.

3. Duncan’s Dunherl’s Loch Coruisk

O. 1. Murray’s Kuantan Beau Rivarge of Rachmor. Elegant and powerful in appearance, well ribbed back with depth of chest and good bone. She has a lovely head with sight median line and stop, ears set high but could be more lobular. Stands on straight forelegs and well arched toes. In the class she moved very well but the change of handler in the challenge didn’t help her.

2. MacLaine & Dickson’s Greyspirit Purdue JW CJW. Finer in head than the winner but nevertheless pleasing. Strong level topline and wide powerful quarters.

3. Odonoghue’s Sh Ch Sireva Linesman at Weimsmyre

GOLDEN RETRIEVERS

PD. 1. Kinnaird’s Ramchaine Prince Du Abobnd with Lochtaymist. Powerful and well boned, level back with tail coming straight off. Good angles front and back with depth and width in body, strong loin. Handsome head with dark pigment and deep square muzzle. Good coat. Moved Ok but rather proud of his tail. BPD

2. Jeremy, Barron & Jenkins’ Rannaleroch Cottonspinney. Kind expression, big ribs and wide quarters. Doesn’t have the balance of the winner.

JD. 1. Farquharson & Straser’s Mafleurdean Cook. Masculine head with a lovely kind eye, level topline, wide behind, good ribbing but a tad long in loin. Well coated with dense undercoat. Carries his tail quite high.

PGD. 1. McCormack’s Flyngalee Signature. Symmetrically built and powerful in appearance his back is firm and level with excellent tail set. He has a wonderfully handsome head with such a soul searching expression, clean and muscular neck, good front angulation placing his legs well under his body. Plenty of heart and lung room, short loin and good width behind. Aminated on the move with great front reach. In good coat. BD.

2. Wallis’ Blue Gemstone Katrina. Similar to the winner, I liked his head and front angulation. Well coated with correct undercoat. Didn’t match the movement of the winner.

3. Laidlaw-Good & McShane’s Fhairmhor Haud Yer Wheesht at Rigerin

LD. 1. MacKenzie’s Tullochmohr Here We Go Again. This dog has lovely balance and good height to length ratio. His shoulders are well laid back with good length of upper arm. Gorgeous head with chiselling, strong arched neck. He has good bone and round feet but he was so lethargic on the move which cost him in the challenge.

2. McShane’s Rigerin Gonnae No Dae That. Has bone and substance with a wide deep chest. Dense coat. Preferred the head of the winner.

3. McGuffie’s Milltimber Moonriver

O. 1. Wallis’ Blue Gemstone Katrina. 2nd in PG.

PB. 1. McDonald’s Ramchaine Having A Good Time At Lamancha (Imp NLD). What a cracker! Oozes type and quality with her powerful outline, level topline, well laid shoulders and legs well under her body giving plenty of dog in front. I just love her head with its dark eyes and pigmentation, lovely chiselling; her eyes look right into your soul. Her movement is effortless and she holds her shape with her well carried tail. BPIB and PG1.

2. MacDonald’s Flyngalee Teppum. Another very nice puppy and unlucky to meet the winner. She too has a lovely head and good body proportions. Her ever wagging tail is reflective of her biddable nature. Good depth to her coat.

3. McGuffie’s Milltimber My Girl

JB. 1. Richmond & Fairbairn Grassyards Call me Madam. 2 very nice girls. Straight in front with depth of brisket and spring of rib. She has strength in muzzle and a dark kind eye. I preferred the overall length and balance to that of 2.

2. McShane’s Rigerin Respect. A pleasing type who is in better coat than the winner. She has substance and width behind and round, cat-like feet. Didn’t move quite as well as the winner.

PGB. 1. McDougall’s Rigerin Merrie Melodies At Torcarhian. Won this class on her movement and tail carriage. Symmetrically built, well ribbed back, good spring of rib, well turned stifle. Balanced head with depth of muzzle.

2. Bradley’s Ceilcaesar Calendar Girl. Good in profile and strong and powerful in looks. Has better width of muzzle than the winner but didn’t move as well.

3. No name given

LB. 1. Williamson’s Sandti Hits the Sweet Spot JW. Very eye catching when stacked and an animated and powerful mover carrying her tail well. Her head is very feminine and balanced with good chiselling. Her well set dark eyes give her a lovely, biddable expression. Her neck is of good length and muscular and fits cleanly into her well laid shoulders. In good coat. BB.

2. Bradley’s Ceilcaesar Calendar Girl

OB. 1. Bradley’s Ceilcaesar Calendar Girl. 2nd in PG. 2. Halkett’s Garrellglen Forget Me Not. Nice bitch but doesn’t have the balance of the winner. She clearly has a wonderful temperament as displayed by her lovely wagging tail.
