1st Rackza P & C. Jamarqui Alchemy Argent. 19 month male with a strong outline, lean balanced head with an air of nobility, arched neck with a lovely juncture to the shoulder and excelled in depth of rib. Still needs that fully maturity to give him the strong aristocratic demeanour but everything is in the right place and he moved out cleanly despite the limited space. BOB Group 3

1st Perkins R & CS. Silkridge Just Joey. This 8 month fawn brindle has a real look at me attitude which demands attention. Classic head with expressive eyes and a strong jawline finished off with proper rose shaped ears. Just loved his curvy shape, not overdone in any way with excellent angulation front and rear, correct bone and tight arched toes. Although a touch keen on the move he showed strength in the rear pastern and a low ground covering action. BPIB Puppy Group1 and delighted to hear he went on to take BPIS

2nd Williams T. Barnsmore Queen of the Celts. Very feminine bitch with the sweetest of heads and a well set ear. Arched neck leading to balanced angulation with a tidy rear action. She was in a softer condition than the winner which meant she did not have the strength of movement.

1st Perkins R & CS. Snowleana Errol Flynn of Silkridge JW. Upstanding Blue Fawn male with the kindest of eyes and excellent head and ear. Curvy outline with laid back shoulder and deep brisket, smooth flowing underline, correct bone and arched toes, he has lovely substance and great power on the move driving with a ground covering stride. Sympathetically handled and in harmony with his handler at all times. BOB Group1

2nd Williams T. Barnsmore Arabella. Pretty head and expression with good ears, she was feminine and of a nice size. She has a lot of forechest, well set shoulder and good depth of body, I liked her overall flow but a touch over angulated for my taste in rear and not as toned in muscle.

1st Jones L. Jalhar The Wonder of You. Sturdy compact little bitch with a classic shape, very appealing in head with a lovely alert expression, slightly domed skull and lowset ear. Compact body with lovely shoulder and front assembly. Level topline with well set on tail and a muscled rump underneath. Good bone and feet completed a very appealing picture. She moved out positively in all directions. BOB Group 2

2nd Jones L. Beighleighs Diamond Bright at Stanseren. Powerful dog with a masculine outline, I liked his head with the gentle expression, clean lip and correctly shaped skull. Very powerful through the shoulder but a fraction shorter in upperarm, He was deep through the rib with a good spring and firm coupling. Well muscled rear gave good propulsion, not quite as tidy in front as my winner.

Rhodesian Ridgeback

1st Kehoe & Phillips AM & CR. Anzacol Amazing Alika at Redcrown She was being a bit of a handful today but at only 18 months she has plenty of time to settle. Good head planes, broad flat skull, nice length to her muzzle. Still needs to grow into herself but showed balanced angulation and good bone. Very unco-operative on the move.

1st Kehoe & Phillips AM & CR. Affrhoda Ons Meisie Kya for Redcrown. Mature bitch with a firm outline and good breed attributes. Pleasing length to muzzle with alert dark eye, strong in neck and smooth through the shoulder to a firm topline. She stood on strong legs and feet and although limited in space showed good footfall. BOB

1st Harding CE. Classicus Odysseus at Ashahni, Saluki. Very handsome and stylish young dog with a lovely build and outline. Refined in head with a keen expression and very cheeky eye. Loved his noble look and strong underjaw. Very neat in body and angulation, well coupled with a pleasing set and slop to croup. His movement was entertaining but when he did put his mind to it he showed grace and elegance. BP Puppy Group 2

2nd Catlow SE & PD. Hydebeck Dream of Lorelei at Laoiseach, Irish Wolfhound. Young wheaten bitch with the most feminine of expressions, strong jaw and grave eye. Loved her front and shoulder and depth of body. Still a little raw when it comes to standing and moving, showed a good profile action.

3rd Bleasdale LM. Tulak No Strings Attached Afghan Hound

1st Mills-Jones C. Carlita Sunrise JW, Dachshund Mini Wirehaired. Honest workman like dog without any exaggeration, bright eye with a well set ear and balanced head. Correct angulation with just the right amount of forechest. Firm topline with a good amount of rib underneath and correct length of leg. Moved out cleanly but just lacked a little verve in the group today BOB Group 4

1st Salt DEJ & MA. Levelmoor Blackadder. 11 month bitch so full of energy and enthusiasm, I just loved her classic outline with the correct amount of bone and substance. She had the kindest of expressions with bright well shaped eye, correct amount of stop and well set ears. Really lovely front assembly with tidy legs and feet. She stood foursquare every time I looked at her and strode out with plenty of verve holding a firm topline and good footfall. BP BOB Group 4 Puppy Group 1

2nd Salt DEJ & MA. Levelmoor Acorn Antiques via Wetnoses. Very similar to my winner and not surprised to learn afterwards they were litter sisters. I felt she was a bit more forward in maturity, in body at least, but she certainly had her silly head on today. She showed a good rear action but was very untidy coming towards me.

American Cocker Spaniel

1st Brannan PE. Mycalley’s Moondancer. Lovely Buff puppy dog with an expressive forward eye and plush muzzle with a pleasing length of foreface and nicely shaped skull. He flowed from his arched neck to his well set tail with pleasing angles and correct length of back. He does need to calm down and settle on the move but I did manage to see enough to assess him. BP Puppy Group 2

2nd Jones SC. Alkimadus Ruben James. Mature buff dog with a kind eye and expression of good size and substance. He had plenty of rib under a firm topline, good angulation but slightly longer cast than my ideal. Moved out well but lacked a little drive today.

1st Jones SC. Alkimadus Gwn Ben Y Gardigan JW ShCM. Pleasing B/T male of mature years. Masculine head with correct eye and plush muzzle. I loved his angles and compact body with a firm topline and sweeping rear. He strode out well showing flowing movement. BOB

2nd Harrison DM & GM. Glarus Sun Dance. Strong headed buff male with good length and depth of muzzle. Well constructed body, slightly bigger overall than 1st. He was really not interested in moving today but his foot placement was ok.

NSDTR

PGrad (4, 1abs)

1st Adshead AM & AL. Afonbach Winter is Coming JW. Young dog but showing plenty of maturity. I liked his overall balance, very together for his age. Well-proportioned head of good wedge shape, pleasing eye shape and correct set ears which he really used. Strong through the neck, shoulders laid back with a good return of upper-arm. Excellent quarters with a good bend of stifle which gave plenty of drive on the move.

2nd Warren E. Fieldranger Kubla Khan. Happy young dog who needs time to learn his job. Masculine head of correct shape with a very bright, alert eye. Has everything in the right place body wise but would prefer tighter feet. When he did co-operate with his handler he showed a good profile movement. BP Puppy Group 4

1st Adshead AM & AL. Danehaven Vermilion for Afonbach ShCM. This beautiful little bitch filled my eye. She has excellent balance, and the right amount of substance. She has the prettiest of heads with good eye shape and colour, clean neck into a well laid shoulder. Really loved her straight front with correct bone and sloping pastern. She has plenty of depth of rib with a good spring and a strong rear. On the move she had plenty of drive and covered the ground well. Shown in lovely coat and condition BOB Group 2

2nd Adshead AM & AL. Afonbach Dance with Dragons JW. A nice outline on this bigger bitch, feminine in head and expression, wish she would use her ears more as it really sets her head off when she does. Good through neck with a decent front assembly and correct lay back of shoulder. Ribs well sprung and firm in loin. Stifle well bent and good rear angulation which gave ground covering movement. I just preferred the overall picture of my winner.

1st Walker RE. Lanokk Raina. 18 month bitch of the most beautiful colour with a firm outline and excellent proportions. Very appealing in head with good proportions and ample furnishings and a bright wellshaped eye. Clean through the neck, firm in topline with a well sprung rib. Showed strong drive from the rear but a little wide coming towards me today. BOB

1st Charlesworth G. Bowshella Ring of Fire around Ginnylands. Handsome male put down in really good condition. Masculine head with a gentle expression and kind eye. Strong through the neck and shoulder with good height to leg ratios, Firm throughout his body with broad thighs and an easy movement. BOB

1st Jones FH. Willowrush Kersey Dusk at Serenjar. Young yellow bitch of 23 months with a beautiful head, I just loved her excellent pigmentation, good length of foreface, lean in cheek with a soft brown eye and well set ear which she really used to advantage. She has a strong neck leading to a well-built body with pleasing angles and good bone. Once she reined in her exuberance she moved out cleanly and strongly. BOB Group 3

1st Jones FH. Lembas Faith at Serenjar. Mature rich yellow bitch who was carrying a little extra weight but that didn’t stop her being extremely animated and lively, pretty head with a bright eye. Very well balanced with plenty of rib under a strong topline. She was full of herself on the move but showed good foot placement.

Irish Setter

1st Danks-Kemish RD. Glimmer Noblesse Diamond is Forever Lofty with Alolfrana (imp Pol). Very well grown 9 month bitch of good size with a lot of bone, lean in head with a correct eye and lowset ear. She has a lovely arched neck and laidback shoulder, she stood wider in front than my ideal but had plenty of depth for her age. Broad sweeping stifles finished the picture and she showed a good profile action. BPIB

1st Danks-Kemish RD. SHCH Alolfrana Hotter Than U’Know JW. A really glamourous eye catching dog with bags of style standing and moving, just loved his ring presence and attitude. From tip to tail he just flows with everything in the right place, in the best of condition with a fantastic depth to his rich red coat he didn’t disappoint when I went over him and despite the small ring he showed off his great reach and rear extension. BOB Group1 and very pleased to hear he took BIS

1st Danks-Kemish OP. Taggart Shadow Dog of Alolfrana (imp Pol) IRWS. 9 month dog with a classic head, good length and depth to muzzle, enough stop and an intelligent expression. Flowed through the neck and shoulder with an excellent front assembly balanced rear and strong topline. His red patches were a rich red colour set off by the pearly white background. A little erratic on the move at times but showed a lot of promise when he did settle. BP BAVNSC Puppy Group 3
