Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge such a well-run show and for my steward John for keeping the ring running so smoothly throughout the judging. I really enjoyed my day and so pleased with the quality of entry. Thank you to all exhibitors for accepting the decisions on the day.

MP (3,3) 1 Lees’ DENMARELLA HIGHLAND LACE

8 month old bitch dark golden bitch. Pretty head with a soft, kind expression. Strong neck flowing down into well laid shoulders, beautiful front construction with matching rear angulation, stands on correct catlike feet, super bone and substance. Can sometimes lose her topline standing but she is still growing, on the move maintains a nice level topline with correct tail set and carriage. Moved positively for one so young. Shown in excellent condition. Pleased to award her BP.

 2 Foreman’s AMBERSUN LOST IN MUSIC, 6 month old mid golden girl. Feminine head with a pretty expression. Moderate angulation with a super topline, nice feet. Moved well. Litter mate to 3rd, just needing a little time to develop all through. Will always appeal for her outgoing temperament.

P (3,4) 1 Lees’ DENMARELLA HIGHLAND LACE As previous class.

2 Healey’s MARSABIT VANITY FAIR 9 month old bitch with a beautiful outline. Pretty head with a soft kind expression, clean neck, going down on to nicely placed shoulders. Beautiful front construction, with matching rear-end with correct catlike feet. Super topline with is maintained on the move, short coupled with good tail carriage. Moved ok. Coat not in the best of condition.

3 Wynd’s SARGOLDIOR KISS CHASE AROUND MAIJEROND. 

J (2,1) 1 Clarke’s OUSEVALE TOBERMORY JW 15 month old cream coloured dog and a short coupled. Masculine head with a soft kind expression. well angulated front and well boned legs, correct catlike feet, super topline, tailset and carriage. Drives off well from behind using his correct angulation to move around the ring well. Handled well and one to watch, pushed hard for top honours today, just lost out on coat. 

2 Mason’s MAVISTAN RAMBLING ROSE THROUGH NOSAM 12 month old cream bitch. Pretty bitch, soft kind expression, nice flow of neck leading down to a good topline. Straight front legs, and strong well let down hocks, Short coupled, correct tail carriage. Moved well.

G (5,2) 1 Price’s PALTON UP UP AND AWAY 22 month old bitch dark golden bitch. One I have judged before, she just gets better. Prettiest of heads, feminine with a kind expression, strong flow of neck leading onto well placed shoulders. Nice feet. Well angulated at the front and the rear, good length of leg. Super topline and tail set – doesn’t always use her tail to advantage on the move. Strong quarters, well muscled which helped her move around the ring effortlessly. RBOB

3 Collis’ MERIMOOR OUTLANDER AT DORWINION.

PG (3,1) 1 Foreman’sWYNRITA HOT TO TROT TO AMBERSUN 2 year old golden bitch, slightly longer cast. Pretty and feminine head, beautiful front assembly and matching rear, good topline, tailset and carriage. Constantly wagging tail standing free and on the move. Moved well.

2 Riley’s LAMANCHA NIGHT SKY ILLIUSION 17 month old cream boy. Masculine head with a soft expression. Nice neck flow down on the his nicely placed shoulders. Correct feet. Strong topline which he maintains all of the time. Well muscled rear end. Moved ok.

3 Hammond’s MERIMOOR SATIN NIGHTS.

ML (2,3) 1 Hush’s BENROWAN ESPRIT

 2 year old golden bitch who presents a beautiful balanced picture. For me her head is not my favourite but she cannot be faulted on her beautiful construction and sound movement. Kind soft expression just slightly too long in muzzle. Strong clean neck, flowing down on to well laid shoulders, beautiful forechest and returning upperarm stood on correct catlike feet, super length of leg. Strong topline, short coupled, beautiful tail set and carriage maintaining all on the move. Her strong backend drove her around the ring effortlessly – her tail doesn’t stop wagging as she floats around the ring. Shown in excellent condition and handled to advantage. Pleased to award her BOB.

2 Gayler’s CAROLAKE REMEMBER ME JW 3 year old mid golden bitch, longer cast than the winner. Prettiest head with a kind expression. Clean neck flowing down to well placed shoulders, well made front with correct feet. Matching rear with a well muscled rear end. Correct tailset and carriage. Moved well.

L (1,0) 1 Riley’s WYLLOH CLARICE CLIFF JW, mid gold 4 year old compact bitch. Pretty head, correct expression. Strong neck on nicely placed shoulders, good return of upperarm. Strong topline and tailset and carriage, shown in a hard condition. Moved well.

O (3,0) 1 Foreman’s CAMESTONE FIELD DAY AT AMBERSUN 4 year old mid gold male. Masculine head, with correct expression. Strong neck leading down to shoulders and a good topline. Super forechest, short coupled, correct tailset and carriage – used his tail well on the move. Moved ok. Presented and handled well.

2 Hammond’s MERIMOOR SKYELINE 5 year old mid golden compact bitch. Kind expression, strong neck into good shoulders. Strong level topline which is maintained standing and on the move. Correct tailset and carriage. Moved ok. 

3 Rainbird’s NATIVEGOLD SOMOS NOVIOS.
