Puppy (2,0)
1st Hernwood London’s Calling
A cracking little lady with a lot to like about her, very feminine in head with a pretty expression. Plenty of substance at this age. Well made with balanced angles front and rear, level topline and tail set on well. Clear tan markings. Once she settled, she had a decent footfall about her. Handled to advantage. Pleased to make her my Best Puppy, if she carries on growing in this direction, she should have a bright future ahead of her.
2nd Longrow Love of My Life (AI)
Another nice puppy, not quite as together as the winner but has plenty of time on his side. Clean neck would have just liked a little more lay-back of shoulder. Good rear angles on him. Body developing well with good overall proportions. Topline level. Good action in profile just need to find his feet.
Junior (3,1)
These two were siblings
1st Hernwood Christmas Prince
Smart young man, 13 months old with a clean outline. His head is masculine with a lovely dark eye and with good tans. Neck is well made and leads into well set shoulders. Good overall front assembly with correctly boned legs, would like tighter feet. Well-proportioned body with ribs well sprung and loin firm, topline level and tail is set on correctly. Moved out very well with good action and decent footfall. Considered him in the challenge but he wasn’t as together on the move as the two open dogs.
2nd Hernwood Christmas Eve
Litter sister to the winner and a lot to like about her. Preferred her on the stack as she had the better shape, but she didn’t quite have the front action of the winner and her head is not as typical at the moment but has plenty of time on her side. Body well made, ribs well sprung and firm in loin. Quarters well developed. Moved out well in profile, just not quite the accuracy of the winner fore and aft.

1st Hernwood Jack O’Lantern by Rackens JW
Two years old chap, I liked his masculine head and expression enhanced by that lovely dark eye. Good neck in to shoulders, which are well set and has depth to forechest. Body well made with a decent spring of rib and level topline. Quarters well made; stifles well bent. Coat in good condition with well-defined tan markings. Liked him in profile but needs to fill his frame to complete the picture, which he will do in time.
2nd Kimgilee Maori Secret
Another sound mover in this second placed bitch, she has a lovely outline and overall balance. Head shape is pleasing, with a good finish to her foreface. Clean outline, neck in to shoulder good, would have liked her a little tighter in elbow. Quarters well made with decent angles which she used to give her a fluid action.
3rd Lainnireach Original Tonic at Cardilis

1st Benbuie Rock on to Hernwood
Nice type of dog, there is little more of him than I prefer but he is balanced. Well-made throughout with a good topline and overall finish. Good front assembly, standing on well boned legs. Super quarters, stifles well bent. He excelled on the move, has both carriage and presence. Super in profile and accurate footfall. Won the class and subsequently Best of Breed on his more accurate movement than his kennel mate.
2nd Hernwood Neptune Sea
On the stack I really liked this dog and thought he would be the winner, but he just wouldn’t play ball on the sandy surface and was picking his feet up on the move. He presented a balanced picture, clean in outline. Masculine in head with a lovely dark eye. Good in neck into well-set shoulders, would have just liked a little more lay-back. Depth to forechest, ribs well sprung. Moderate quarters. Good firm topline. Reserve Best of Breed
Hungarian Vizsla
Junior (2,0)
1st Afanleigh Beckham
A very promising youngster just over the 12 months mark, with lots to like about him. Head is masculine with good definition. Clean in neck in to a good front assembly, enough depth of chest for his age, needs to tighten in elbow but should do that as he drops into his front. Excellent bone and stands on good feet. Body of good proportion with ribs springing nicely. Firm level topline, quarters well-made which he used to advantage on the move. Just needs to settle in to his front, should have a bright future ahead of him.
2nd Nevedith Nyari Breeze
Seven months old and obviously giving a lot away to the winner on maturity. A very pretty young lady with a good make and shape, she has a good front on her and a clean reach of neck. Body of good proportions with quarters well made. Still needs to find her feet on the move, once she started to settle, she had a good action about her. Best Puppy.
Post Graduate (1,0)
1st Carnlochan Morar to Silvestre
Stood alone in the class presenting a pleasing picture. Good size on this lady, she has a pleasing head piece with good proportions. Neck clean in to a well-made body. Quarters are well made with moderately bent stifles. Moved out well but would have liked her a little tired in front action and a better tail carridge.
Open (4,0)
Difficult decision, as with other breeds today a number of the dogs did not like the surface and were just not moving well, on another day on a different surface the placing could be different.
1st Nicael Blue Diamond Among Ohnava
This three-year-old bitch scored on the move and it was on that factor she won this class today. Head piece was good with decent proportions. Clean in neck in to a well-made front with shoulders well laid back and a decent return of upper arm. Stands on well boned legs, would have liked better feet. Depth to chest and well made in body, ribs well sprung. Quarters well made, which she used to advantage on the move, with a good ground covering action. Best of Breed.
2nd Karaszy’s Glorious Legacy
Well known dog who I liked this dog on the stack and thought he would be the winner, but he just wouldn’t play ball on the move on the sandy floor. He is full of breed type, his head is masculine, good skull and overall proportions with a kind eye. Stands on well boned legs, parallel front with depth of chest. Neck strong and clean. Ribs well sprung through to a firm loin. Excellent quarters, well-muscled and stifles moderately bent. Reserve Best of Breed

Pointers
Puppy (6,1)
1st Byphar Belvedere
I thought this young lady was very smart, she is just seven months old and presenting a super picture. I would have preferred her stood a little shorter to give a more typical outline. Her head is feminine with good proportions, eyes of good shape and colour to give a feminine expression. Neck flows in to her well placed shoulders with a good lay back. Stands on well boned legs and good feet. Body of good proportions, ribs correct for her age, perhaps a shade long in loin. Quarters developed for her age with stifles well bent. Moved soundly, once she settled, to win this excellent class and Best Puppy.
2nd Sweet Dreams by Hookwood
Ten month old boy, balanced but at the growing stage at the moment. Head is masculine with good proportions, kind eye and a pleasing expression. Clean in neck in to well set holders, bit lose in elbow today but they should tighten in due course. Body well made with ribs good for his age and firm in loin. Quarters developing well. A little untidy as he came towards me but has a good profile action with gave him this place.
3rd Nightgold Pipin
Junior (1,0)1st Hookwood Pipin
Stood alone but a worthy winner. Head is pleasing shape and a feminine expression, developing nicely. Good in neck in to a well-made front assembly, good angles front and rear and standing on well bones legs. Correct depth of chest for her age and elbows tight to body, ribs and loin correct for her age. Quarters are developing well, stifles well bent. Moved out well.
Post graduate (5,2)
1st Sharnphilly Toggi with Hookwood
Very smart black and white lady who was two years old on the day. Her head is pleasing, needs to finish but will do so as she matures. Front is well made, decent lay back of shoulder and return. Well boned legs and neat feet. Good through the body with ribs well sprung and firm loin, quarters well made, stifles well bent. Moved out well to take the class.
2nd Droveborough’s Smooth Mover JW
This bitch was a larger frame than the winner with a good overall shape. She has a good front assembly and overall body proportions and well-made quarters on her. Moved out well, with a good action to take this place.
3rd Tenshilling Blowin Smoke
Open (3,1)
1st Pytchley Chasing The Dream For Hookwood JW ShCM ShEXx
Well-made black and white boy who is three and a half. He is impressive on the stack and on the move. Masculine in head with good expression. Well-made front with the correct angles, standing on good legs and neat feat. Correct depth of forechest, ribs well sprung and a good firm loin. Quarters well made with well bent stifles. Moved positively around the ring with a good action both in profile and fore and aft. Delighted to award him Best of Breed.
2nd Am Ch Bookstor Fabello Kinky Boots (Imp USA)
This young lady has gentle flowing curves and a good outline and is ultra-feminine. Pleasing head and expression. Decent front construction, neck correctly proportioned leading on to well placed sloping shoulders, just a tad untidy in elbow and over the shoulder. Proportionate depth of chest. Well made through the body with ribs well-sprung and firm through the loin. Good quarters with well bent stifles and hocks well let down. Good profile action, moved a little too fast and today not as free flowing as I was looking for. Was also a little untidy as she came towards me so gave way to Chasing The Dream. Reserve Best of Breed.

Clean in neck in to a well assembled front, stands on well boned legs, enough depth of chest for her age. Body well made with ribs springing correctly and loin muscular. Good through the quarters with stifles well bent, hocks well let down. Moved out well with a ground covering action. Best of Breed.
