Beagle Puppy (6,5)

1st Jones & Jepson’s Eardley Vencharno Hot Hot Hot 6-month-old tri bitch puppy. Lovely famine head, good eye. Decent front construction, level topline. A compact puppy who given her age was very composed and moved extremely well around the ring with ease and grace. Pleased to award her BPIB and to hear she was awarded HGP1.

2nd Woodcock’s Molesend Verdict at Roddwood Another nice puppy, 10-month-old tan and white dog. Masculine head with a well-defined stop and depth of flews. good length of neck and decent front, level topline and good length of loin. A very difficult decision just preferred that of 1.

Beagle Junior (5)

1st Hunt, Norris, Carmichael & Starbrook’s Shercroft Liberty, a lovely compact tan and white bitch with a pleasing head and expression. Good bone and well-placed shoulders, level topline with a good tail set, which she carried well around the ring, a joy to watch move, RBB.

2nd Woodcock’s Molesend Verdict at Roddwood

Beagle Post Graduate (3,2)

1st Taylor’s Deaconfield Keepsake, Another nice compact tan and white bitch. Feminine head with good pigmentation, well placed shoulders and level topline. A lovely balanced bitch who stood out in the class.

2nd Rimmer’s Bayard going for gold, Masculine head with strong muzzle and good depth of flews. Good length of neck and well laid-back shoulders with a deep forechest and Level topline. A difficult decision just preferred that of 1 on the day.

Beagle Open (9,6)

1st Fellow’s Rosanka Midler, A lovely bitch who catches the eye when stacked she has a pretty feminine head and eye, with a clean neck and level topline and good tailset. Well-muscled and with good rear construction with good hindquarters. In excellent condition and clearly enjoys the ring. Pleased to award her BOB.

2nd Jones & Jepson’s Bayards Adam Guessing, a masculine head with a nice eye and good depth of flews. Sound construction with good bone and excellent feet. Level topline and an excellent mover. All round a well-balanced dog in excellent condition, a difficult decision between 1 and 2.
