Collie (Rough)

Postgraduate (2/1)

1st Lyall’s Santaloly’s Sky Amidalas, four year old mature petite bitch, excellent head and ear set, well ribbed onto nice short couplings, good bone, tight feet, good front, with equal return of upper arm, lovely profuse coat, held a level topline but moved a little close behind. Just wish she were a little bigger. BOB

Australian Shepherd

Postgraduate (3/2)

1st Chorley’s Trijem Return Of The Slayer, 2 year old Tri bitch, good pigment, pleasing head and expression, nice front, well laid shoulders with good length of upper arm, compact bitch with ample bone, nice tight feet, well balanced and just needs to settle and mature.

Open (2/0) Two excellent dogs who I really had to split hairs to choose the winner;

1st Barr’s Allmark Yogi Bear, 3 year old male, handsome head and expression, stood on strong legs and feet with plenty of bone, in good coat, excellent front, well sprung ribs, nice compact shape. Just preferred his movement to the second dog. BOB & G2

2nd Virgo’s Aoiristar Supernova ShCM (IKC) , almost 4 years old, mature boy with typical head , well proportioned giving good expression. Well ribbed and short coupled, excellent substance also moved very well. Very close decision RBOB

Retriever (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling)

Thankyou to all the exhibitors for a wonderful entry of quality dogs. It was a pleasure to judge them.

Puppy (5/0)

1st Wakely’s Cretshengan Emerald Lake, 10 month old bitch, very mature with excellent head and ear set, a really well made front assembly, well coupled, in a lovely thick double coat, moved really well with plenty of reach and drive holding a level topline. Her overall impression of power and substance made her the easy winner of this class and BP.

2nd Fielder’s Cretshengan Signy, litter sister to one, slightly finer , but still with plenty of bone, she is neater than her sister, ribs well sprung , nicely short coupled, balanced rear assembly with nicely let down hocks. She is really lovely stood in profile , just not quite the driving movement of the winner today.

3rd Elkin’s Tollelkin Caife Americano

Junior (4/0)

1st Wakely’s Cretshengan Emerald Lake

2nd Elkin’s Tollelkin Caife Americano, 10 month old male, I have judged him before and he has done plenty of growing since. He is a stunning boy , on the larger side , but not over the breed standard, and he is so well made, and truly excels in his front assembly. He is just a bit loose in his movement now and his topline has slightly softened. Just needs time to come together and mature, still expecting good things for this boy in the future.

3rd Golding’s Kymin Va Va Voom Avec Whenova

Special Yearling (6/2)

1st Elkin’s Tollelkin Caife Americano

2nd Golding’s Kymin Va Va Voom Avec Whenova, 16 month bitch, beautiful outline when stood, she is very nicely short coupled and a good compact bitch. Well angled front and rear, balanced and well proportioned. She just needs to mature and develop more spring of rib and substance. She is a sound mover.

3rd Tester’s Gingafing Aint No Way.

Postgraduate (2/0)

1st Bassil’s Tivalake My Lucky Star, 4 year old mature boy, an attractive male with good head, not a flashy boy but solid and nicely un-exaggerated. Built on a larger frame, he has good substance and pleasing length of leg to body depth. Couplings short and compact in shape. Well sprung ribs, and well bent stifles, just needs more confidence in the ring.

2nd Tester’s Gingafing Careless Whisper, mature bitch, with good length of neck, correctly held tail, constantly moving, standing and moving she holds a level topline , but but not the reach and drive of the winner in part due to a slightly short upper arm and a little wide in front.

Open (9/1)

1st Fielder’s Schindow Junior Cowboy With Cretshengan, 3 year old male really maturing well, have judged him before and he has come on so much in ribs, depth of chest and substance, since I last saw him. A strong dog shown in excellent hard condition. Masculine wedge shaped head, good front assembly, with plenty of muscle, powerful neck of medium length, moderate rear assembly with well bent stifle, well sprung ribs, short coupled, excellent movement. BOB

2nd Wakely’s Riverwatcher Nukilik, 7 year old mature male, fabulous impression of power and substance, nicely compact body, excellent front assembly, well bent stifles, short hocks, well let down, lovely mover with lots of drive from the rear. RBOB

3rd Wakely’s Riverwatcher Kaviksuk.
