I was impressed with the quality of the Mittels exhibited today.  All were well presented and temperaments were excellent – they were a pleasure to judge. My apologies for the brevity of the report.  I was conscious that with a 10:30 start I had 145 dogs to judge and at 2.5 minutes per dog that would have taken until 4:30 pm and I didn’t want anyone to miss the group. 

Class 393 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: 1392 BARNES, Ms L & KING Miss I Izlou Shiver Me Timbers.  Best Puppy.  A smart and very typical youngster, good breadth of skull and neat ears.  Keen, alert expression.  Very good forehand and this gave him an advantage today.  Very easy on the move.   

2nd: 1394 BIRTLE Mrs N & Mr F W Kelham I Dreamed A Dream to Rokeland.  Very shapely with an attractive head and expression, well ribbed body with high set, well carried tail.  Very good positive hind action, just needs to firm up in pastern.    

Class 394 JD (1 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: 1409 PEARCE, Mr G & FRANCIS, Mr D & ROBERTS Mrs D Longsdale's Rebel Rouser At Cwrtafon.  A nicely balanced black youngster.  Grand showman and his movement is first class.  Well ribbed barrel and excellent tailset and carriage.  Very good coat texture.  I would have happily signed a CC for him.   

Class 395 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: 1412 SAICH Miss A J Lindcoly Blue Moon.  Good skull and ears, well-shaped eyes which could be darker for perfection but this doesn’t detract from his lively, intelligent expression.  Decent body and rib.  Very good hind action.  Good coat texture.   

Class 396 LD (3 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: 1395 BROCK, Mrs V & PETERSON Mrs V Jansanleis Polar Express To Pomkins.  Presents a most attrqctive picure.  Compact and well ribbed.  Good skull, lovely dark eye and neat ears.  Excellent double coat.  Shows and moves to best advantage. 

2nd: 1408 MOUNTAIN Mrs S Hocombewood Jailhouse Roc.  Most attractive head and expression, lively and expressive eyes, neat well-carried ears.  Could be a little stronger in pastern.  Good bone and feet.  Short coupled and well ribbed.   Double coat.  Moderately angulated with very good muscle tone and this was reflected in his good hind action.  

Class 397 OD (6 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: 1405 HEWETT Mrs L Ch Spellcast Talk Tidee.  Very pleasing to handle as he is so well put together.  Most attractive head and expression with dark, sparkling eyes.  Moderately angulated both fore and aft and very well ribbed with high set tail.  Shown in a good quality, full double coat.  His movement and showmanship were exemplary.  CC & BOB.    

2nd: 1411 ROGERSON, Mrs & Miss P & L & MULHOLLAND Mrs A Ch Fisherbloom Black Shamen With Nosregor. RCC.  Another right out of the top drawer.  Lovely head and expression, well balanced and with very good legs and feet.  Excellent body and his coat texture is ideal. Moved out well with a true effortless action.      

3rd: 1417 SAICH Mr & Mrs C J & L M Lindcoly The One An Only  

Class 398 VD (3 Entries) Abs: 0  

I could have happily signed a CC for any of these three dogs. 

1st: 1424 WILLIAMS Miss B Ch Spellcast Talk To Da Paw At Trebettyn Sh.CM.  Keen alert expression and good breadth of skull.  Lovely big strong white teeth.  Excellent body and rib.  Shown in good textured coat and moved really well in a most typical fashion. 

2nd: 1418 SAICH Mr & Mrs C J & L M Ir Ch Zephon Akio At Lindcoly.  Extremely typical and good for both balance and size.  Dark, intelligent eye, neat ears.  Good body.  Double coat.  A lovely personality who shows himself to good advantage.  

3rd: 1413 SAICH Miss A J Hocombewood Hot Toddy For Lindcoly  

Class 399 PB (1 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: 1419 SAICH Mr & Mrs C J & L M Lindcoly Panda Panda.  A really pretty puppy, shapely and shown in good textured coat.  Neat, well carried ears, dark eyes, decent bone and neat, small feet.   Good rib and body for age.    

Class 400 JB (2 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: 1420 SAICH Mr & Mrs C J & L M Lindcoly Crazy Little Thing. Compact and well ribbed with excellent tailset and carriage.  Very appealing head and expression, neat, well carried ears.  Well boned.  Moved out easily with a lively, sound action.  

2nd: 1403 GARDNER Mr K Daraydala Black Pearl.  Good skull and dark, intelligent eyes.  Decent forehand with neat feet.  Good body, just a fraction longer in loin than the winner.  Moved well and coat is developing nicely.    

Class 401 PGB (1 Entries) Abs: 0  

1st: 1414 SAICH Miss A J Lindcoly Wishing On A Dream.  Not quite the fullest of coats but what she has is a good texture.  Attractive, feminine head and expression, short coupled and well ribbed with high set tail.  Moved out soundly.  

Class 402 LB (4 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: 1410 ROGERSON Mr & Mrs D T & P A Nosregor Unforgettable.  A real glamour queen, attractive head and expression with lovely dark eyes.  Shapely and short coupled with good ribbing, high set and well carried tail.  Good bone and lovely feet.  Moved effortlessly.   

2nd: 1415 SAICH Miss A J Lindcoly Love Affair.  A very good moving bitch and absolutely typical in all respects.  Neat ears, well shaped eyes.  Good bone.  Sturdy, well ribbed body.  Good coat.  

3rd: 1402 DREW Dr L Izlou Peanut Passion  

Class 403 OB (6 Entries) Abs: 2  

1st: 1400 CONWAY, Messrs P J & OAKDEN Messrs A E Fisherbloom Moonriver.  CC – her third I was later told.  Feminine attractive head and expression, neat ears; dark, well-shaped eye.  Moderately angulated both fore and aft.  Sturdy, well ribbed body with good tailset and carriage.  Shows to best advantage and her light buoyant action is true and effortless.     

2nd: 1393 BARNES, Ms L & KING Miss I Izlou Walnut Forget Me JW.  Another with a lot of quality and she too is very pleasing to handle as she is well made and sturdy with very good rib and body.  Pretty head and expression.  Excellent coat, free moving but just a fraction untidy in front today which cost her the reserve CC.  

3rd: 1396 CHAPMAN Mr & Mrs D & S Clamers Little Banshee At Kitsune  

Class 404 VB (4 Entries) Abs: 1  

1st: 1391 ANDREW Ms K Dagsljus Against All Odds At Claran.  Reserve CC and Best Veteran.  Pushed the CC winner hard and I was told afterwards that she too has two CCs and she really does deserve her title.  Excellent head and expression, compactly made with strong, short loin and good ribbing.  Moderately angulated, well-muscled hindquarters. Moved well with a very easy, fluid action.   

2nd: 1421 SAICH Mr & Mrs C J & L M Ichmoran Primrose Polka.  Another glamourous bitch shown in a good quality jacket.  Grand head and expression, neat ears, good body and rib.  In profile, she has an easy buoyant action.    

3rd: 1416 SAICH Miss A J Bulabs Staring Stephenie For Lindcoly
