Thank you to the Club for my invitation to judge at this show which I’d been looking forward to eagerly and to the officers & committee for your hospitality on the day. Thanks must also go to my stewards Linda Reed & Caroline Smith. 

A massive thank you to all exhibitors for such a quality entry and for braving the storm to show under me, despite the dreadful weather there were very few absentees. All exhibits were shown in sparkling condition but sadly there were some incorrect bites. 

SP SOLID PUPPY 6

1 Gilmour’s Chavez Royal Saffron

 A good class to start the day, this 9 mth gold has a good shaped head with dark eye & sweetest expression, she needs time to mature but is well constructed & balanced, this showed in her movement. Such a merry puppy both on the move & standing, excellent presentation  

2 Galbar over to you with Newcheshire

 No details in the catalogue, Chocolate & tan of good shape & beautifully presented. Not showing such accurate movement in front as 1 today, has good depth and spring of rib

1 Kettle’s Daydream Believer. Shortlisted. 

 14mth black with a well shaped head & gentle expression. Such a nice bitch to go over with spring of ribs & width all through, good bone & feet. Unsettled on the move in this class to begin with but managed to show sound movement. Went well later in the day to win a good Junior class

2 Whiteley’s Triveka Ginny Weasley

 9 mth Black & tan, placed in previous class, excellent presentation, good feet & bone, just giving away a lot in age to 1 & needs more time to develop & mature into her frame

1 Shapland’s Deracor Dream Time

 alone but worthy of her place, 15 mth black with a good head & eye with gentle expression, good bone & super feet. She just needs some time to mature all through, moved soundly going & returning. She showed well to win a later class

1 Derby’s Sh Ch Lujesa Magic Touch at Classicway JW. Shortlisted. 

 It was a real pleasure to go over this well known Sh Ch, 5 yrs old. In super hard condition & good coat, great spring of ribs with depth & width all through. She has the sweetest head & expression & looks a real pleasure to show with her head up & wagging tail

AOC SP PUPPY 3,1

1 Tavernor’s Annaside Moonshine at Regaltav

 11 mth light blue, this puppy is still raw at present & needs time to mature, short in loin & presents a square outline, she needs her fore chest & ribs to develop but still very young. A happy puppy on the move

 6 mth dark blue another puppy who needs some time to mature. Good head, eye & sweet expression. Nicely handled & moved accurately

1 Darby’s Glowhill Silver Sleighbell at Classicway

 Class headed by 2 litter sisters of 14 mths, light blue, loved her head with dark eye & gentle expression, good in neck & shoulder, moved well, good bone & width all through, the best of feet. Well presented with flat silky coat which must be a pleasure to prepare

2 Mitchell’s Glowhill Snowball

 Black & white, with good head, dark eye with & cheeky expression, slightly more compact than 1 in outline, good bone, super spring of ribs for her age and short with width in loin

3 Sherlock’s Snowgate Indigo Mist to Crimicar

 Mature dark blue, 2 yrs, well constructed all through, good lay of shoulder & forechest, good head, dark eye, loved her expression. Very sound mover, in hard condition, good width & depth all through. Well presented 

2 Nuttall’s Carmelfair Ma Cherie of Rosecourt

 another dark blue of 2 yrs, good head & eye, well boned, good feet, again a super front & forechest, well muscled - a handful for her sporting owner but moved well when settled

 on her own here but worthy of this place. Very merry 5 yr old orange roan who is well constructed with depth & good spring of rib , in excellent coat & condition, in hard muscle which showed in her movement around the ring

 Black 8 yrs Such a pleasure to handle, very well balanced bitch shown in excellent coat & condition. Short, with big ribs excellent bone & feet, sweetest of expressions, loved her attitude in the ring, moved with drive & accuracy & with drive around the ring

2 Ward’s Wensum Some Like It Hot JW

 Another very good black, 7yrs. A well constructed & balanced bitch, loved her head & gentle expression, good depth & width, presented in sparkling order, moved with great drive 

3 Reed’s Reemif Ice Ice Baby Sh CM

Spoilt for choice with a lovely class of minor puppies

1 Craig’s Alisma Alwena BMPIS & BPIS on referee’s decision

 This young lady caught my eye on entering the ring, still so very much a baby @ 6 mths but such a good shape with well developed forechest and excellent front, big ribs, already has width all through, she moved with increasing confidence during the day, loved her head, eye & cheeky expression. I could have happily smuggled her home with me!

2 Ewan’s Craigdean Essie Di Lucca 

 Blue, 6 months & more mature to one, of excellent construction & type, has well laid shoulders & a developed forechest. She already has width & round quarters, very merry & accurate on move with good bone & feet, presented in excellent order

 Another lovely class of puppies headed by this blue, 10 mths, dark expressive eye, good neck, shoulders & forechest, well spring ribs going back, rounded quarters, excelled in bone & good feet, moved very soundly but would have like her to show a little more enthusiasm  

2 Gilmour’s Chavez Royal Image

 9 mth blk was unsettled to start but gradually relaxed & she moved well once settled. Another puppy of good type but not quite the substance of 1. Presented in excellent coat & condition as were all the exhibits from this kennel

 20 mths dark blue of quality, she was presented in full coat & first class presentation of a lovely flat silky coat, good shape both standing & on the move, keeping her topline. Good return of upper arm, deep all through & with width to ribs & well rounded quarters 

2 Lynshaw Kayla

 Black, no details in catalogue, another of good shape & balance, well presented in full coat. Good body & width to quarters. Today not holding her topline on the move as well as one

 Slightly longer cast blue roan 5 yrs. dark kind eye, with adequate neck. Nicely presented. Didn’t put show as much enthusiasm as 1 when she was on the move

 Good class headed by this dark blue of 3 yrs. Excellent construction all through with no exaggeration, good head, eye & overall balance. Scores in depth of body good spring of rib. Moved accurately but I wish she had shown a little more enthusiasm 

2 West’s Sheigra Simply a Star JW

 2 yr blk beautiful presented blk as were all from this exhibitor, Square in outline both standing & on the move with good width all through. Not quite as accurate today in front movement as one

 2 yr dark blue, short coupled bitch of great quality, very cockery, moved with drive today to win this class. Has a good head & gentle expression, well constructed & presented, good width all through, in hard condition & shown well by handler 

2 Master’s & Dott’s Manchela Lady Million JW

 3 yr old Black & white, this bitch is presented in first class order with coat in immaculate condition but underneath the glamour she is well constructed & put down in hard condition, moved with accurately & with drive.

 Eye catching gold of 2 yrs, she stands out in the ring holding herself well at all times. She good to handle. of great quality & construction, beautifully presented. She is very accurate & merry on the move with a hard level topline. She has substance, good body with width all through, well boned legs & good feet, in hard condition, a credit to her owner & a pleasure to judge

 This breeder can certainly produce some great stock, & this blue of 2 yrs is no exception she was a pleasure to go over, so well constructed all through & beautifully presented, sweet head, eye & expression, with good spring of rib & again width & depth all through. Moved with great drive & accuracy
