BOSTON & District Canine Society Championship Show 9-12th January 2020

Thank You to The Officers & Committee for inviting me to judge all the puppy groups & B.P.I.S. also to my able stewards for helping organise the rings on each of the four days. This was my first appointment judging groups at Championship level and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience & thank you all for accepting my decisions on each day. This show has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and has progressed well since I last judged for them several years back, I wish you all well for a prosperous future. The hard work put in by the committee & helpers is very much in evidence.

Best Puppy In Show

I was more than pleased with all of my finalists and thought they were all excellent examples of their breeds and bode well for a good future. All performed well in the big ring today and I thought the W.H.W.T. bitch just outshone the others when moving fore & aft then in profile and presented a perfectly balanced picture in the quality line up before me. In the finale run around my decision was confirmed to award her top spot today. For reserve I thought the G.S.D. was well refreshed deserved the award for breed type, sound conformation and lovely free stride, presented to perfection and nothing exaggerated. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to go over your quality puppies and I will watch their future careers with interest. Good luck to you all.
